Not the best experience. The pros were the ambiance and cleanliness. Really liked the room design and bathrooms were nice too. Amenities were ok like Wi-Fi, complimentary soft drinks and coffee. On the contrary there were too many misses, the staff were a bit negligent. The restaurant missed the mark on breakfast as most guests there complained as it took forever to get simple breakfast. The order was completely different from what came after waiting 1 hr and half. Coffee was served lukewarm, took forever to get milk, the fork was dirty and so on. Then had to request for hot coffee. Requested to see the manager and he never showed up. Eventually we abandoned the meal. I alerted the front desk to the misses and no resolution was offered. I basically had to demand to check out even later after a few non responses from the front desk. To top it off, I pulled the curtains to get in a quick nap and lo and behold, housekeeping ruined my peace by yelling in pidgin English and Yoruba discussing and having banter so loud that I woke up. I came out of the room to let them know they were quite loud and I needed to sleep. Well, that did not stop the loudness at all. Maybe the hotel should have ensured better soundproofing and invested in training staff. There was also a dinner menu for Christmas that was being used that had absolutely no description of the food. I ordered room service and the waiter was literally grasping at straws to explain the food. Why have menu with no description. The lore I asked for description of the food, the more it appeared the waiter was agitated. I can't begin to tell you how bad this experience was. What a waste of what was to be a relaxing experience.

The Yatch hotel!!! Definitely by all standard the best hotel I have stayed in Lagos. I am extremely wowed by the plush and sleekness of a masterpiece right there on Admiralty in lekki. Starting for the complementary bar with the welcoming feel of luxury when you checkin, the fantastic staff that are always ready to help you and a clean environment. The rooms are big and the bed is so comfy you are bound to be late for any early meeting. I so so love this place. The bathrooms are clean and classy, a nice robe waiting for you, and best part is my shower time. The shower is like a waterfall that descends with good water speed and well thought out design. The people running this place are thinking like the guest and have provided anything a guest would need. The rooms are fully automated, bar downstairs is solid and the cocktail was awesome. Highly recommended for lovers looking for a place to rejig their love and sex life. I kid you not.

I really liked the Yacht Hotel, which is a true pleasure center with its rooms overlooking the Lagoon. It was a very comfortable stay thanks to its decoration, approach to guests and thoughtful offers. Well done to the chef who made the egusi soup. Many thanks to the friendly Pelumi and Chici at the reception who are extremely passionate about their job, and to the night team who brought me safely to the Sailor Club. I will always remember the help of kind and inspiring hotel manager Jennifer Christian, aka Ms. Chekube. Hope to see you again.

I actually chose this hotel because of its name and wanted to see if it’ll mimick living on a yatch, ha! I kid myself right, it however was a delight to stay here. I loved my room, it was stunning with complimentary drinks and toiletries per usual. Taking a shower felt like being massaged by little tiny angels lol. What could’ve been a downside turned out not too bad because my room was facing the bar next door so it was like the speakers were in my room, I enjoyed the music though and was jamming with them, thankfully they called it a night at midnight when I was ready to turn in so it worked out perfectly for me. The food however needs more work as both the dinner and breakfast I had were bland, but my heart thanks them. They have a spa in-house and you get a 15% discount if you’re staying in the hotel.

  • Seyi “SunkitYole” Oluyole

I liked my stay at the Yatch for two reasons, it’s clean (especially the bathroom) and the hot water always runs hot. The staff however seem incompetent and distracted. First time I was there, on my second night, I got back from a very busy day and my room hadn’t been cleaned. When booking for my second stay, they mixed up the days . And when they finally rescheduled me, they forgot to call for breakfast the next morning. When I asked for a wine glass (which I had to pay ) - it took 45 minutes and a reminder call , for them to bring it up. The staff are not rude at all. They are very pleasant but seem forgetful and distracted. Lastly, when you drive in, there’s a stench smell- but the hotel doesn’t smell though. Just outside.

This is the gold standard of hotels. It’s clean, sophisticated, modern, safe and conveniently located. Being from Los Angeles I prefer boutique hotels and this one is the best in Lagos. The food is delicious and the vibe of the hotel is elegant. I am always taken great care of when I visit this hotel. Highly recommended. The staff are trained to western standards and the decor and amenities are designed with the customer in mind. I’m here for AFRIFF awards so I needed somewhere I could host drinks and meetings, I have no regrets, it’s a home away from home. It does book fast so I do recommend early reservation. When the waitress asks “ how do you like your eggs?” You know you’re in exceptional hands.

I didn't lodge in the hotel. I had dinner at the restaurant. Making reservations for dinner was a good experience. The interior decor was also warm and I liked it. The staff that served my family were also very courteous and patient. The actual meal was just okay, not fantastic. I had the chicken napotalino or something like that, which was alright. The Chapman was really good. An error on my bill and the stress of getting paid my refund from an overcharge was the blight on an otherwise averagely good evening, I'd have given a 3+/4. It would also be good to have high chairs for babies. That's one of my favourite things about the Iyeru okin restaurant at the Radisson blu, Ikeja.

The yacht is a wonderful place to be at really, my guest said she was well attended too while she was there plus the front office personal is swift and seamless with her response and she's up to her game what's that her name again Blessing or Mercy, f&b is slow in service I almost fainted while waiting for my food gosh, security just know when to task you for money and that's so not right really for a luxury hotel, but above all your facility is explufic...

The yacht hotel is beautiful. I actually came in for a business meeting, they have a big conference by the entrance which is great for meeting with about 15- 20 people complete with a project and screens and facilities for virtual calls, then we headed to the rooftop with a view of the city and had great tasting food. Service was great but awfully slow, so 4star for service everything else was pretty much great.

Beautiful stay and extremely helpful desk staff Blessing and Pelumi ensured our stay went smooth and was very comfortable. The room was spacious always perfectly clean. Great views overlooking the water and made for a perfect dining spot. Breakfast was great with a nice selection, likewise we loved the seafood Spaghetti and other menu options for dinner. A prime location in Lagos with lovely attentive staff. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this hotel!

A 5 star hotel with a 2 star service. How can a hotel in lagos Nigeria be ashamed of serving local dishes in its restaurant. Went to the restaurant to eat and we were told if we must Nigerian dishes it must be in our room.and not at the restaurant. Breakfast also has its do's and don't, you can only eat this, you can't eat that. Highly disappointed, not worth the price. Left there after spending a night, it was suppose to be two nights

I stayed here for two weeks and every second was made to feel like I was right at home. Staff was welcoming and accommodating, my room was kept sparkling clean everyday, and the food was delicious. On top of that, the location is great and in close proximity to hot spots in Lekki Phase 1 as well as VI and Ikoyi.

The food was great and the environment is peaceful If you’re looking for luxury away from home with ocean fronts the yatch is the place for you.

Their rooms ranges from 80k per night... I asked about being a member of their club which they also said from 1 million up ward but I love the concept of this hotel. Their services is really good. Learnt they've been in Lagos for 2 years now and they also own sailors lounge. The concept is unique their lounge remind me of the bars in Texas town.

Lovely Ambience, good view. Food is good. Hotel is neat and staff very professional. I was going to say you can't fault anything in The Yacht, but I always like a hotel with ample parking. I think the parking area is small. Honestly I'll come back here again and again. Already know when my next stay here is going to be...

Would have been a 5star if I had a shorter route to the Sailor's Lounge from the hotel instead of using the exit gate even as a hotel guest and a pedestrian. The beautiful manager was warm, efficient and very welcoming. The front office team, porters and other staff were all very helpful and professional. Very lovely rooms and great ambience. Everything about this place is so serene and beautiful. It definitely met my expectations. However, I was mostly impressed by the security staff at the entrance gate. Such a cheerful, professional lad with a radiant smile. He was so welcoming, my husband and I where Immediately excited for our stay after our brief encounter with him. I will definitely recommend this place.
