Nepal's sole international departure lounge, despite undergoing numerous renovations, still offers limited shopping and dining choices, often restricted to just one option. The departure area tends to become chaotic during peak times, reflecting challenges in managing the increasing demand. Improved amenities and diversification of services would significantly enhance the overall airport experience

There's just one confectionary and food/snacks shop. Very limited options for food. Enough seating but not clean enough for an international departures lounge. Need more display screens with flight details. Our flight got delayed by one hour due to ATC not clearing the take off. Several areas for improvement to ensure a satisfactory traveller experience.

It is large and spacious waiting lounge. It has about half a dozen of gates to board planes. It has a tea/coffee & confectinery shop.

Nice departure launch at International Terminal, Kathmandu. Cleanly maintained terminal.
