Every officer was incredibly rude. Yelling out a list of requirements that no other airport TSA demands. Pushing passengers aside without an “excuse me”. Scolding adults like they’re children when you leave a damn paper receipt in your pocket. Your pushy and obnoxious security theater is WAY over the top.
I actually owe you an apology TSA. Went through Lane 4, 17th of Oct, 6:45am. I was ridiculously late due to an issue with my Lyft. The TSA agent pulled my bag on the belt and I got upset with her. I would like to apologize for my behavior and thank you for working hard and keeping us safe.
Unorganized and rude. Went through during Thanksgiving weekend. They couldn't handle the crowds. The people checking bags laughed at people and would not assist unless forced to from their boss. I don't think there was a pleasant individual working.
Great! Make an appointment online for your TSA Pre-Chek interview and this is where you will likely come for that interview in the Austin area. Be prepared to pay for parking and ride a shuttle bus from the outside lot to the terminal and back.
0 out of 0 would not recommend. 0 personal skills. Always acts like you are a problem. Will not address you. Yelling at people for not moving fast enough, all while only having 1 line open for 200 people. Too many people standing around for
To get badged at the airport for honest work is a joke!! You set an appointment to get badged. But if your not there 15 min early. They bump you to the wait list and shrug their shoulders!! Absolutely retarded. If my appointment is at 7 and
Just went through TSA. The young woman displayed major attitude and thought she was honing her stand up skills. Had a really nice week visiting family in Austin for Xmas. Then our flights canceled getting home, along w/ 1000’s of others. We
Beware: there is a younger male tsa officer who will attempt to grope men. They will say you've been flagged for additional screening (even if you've worn clothing that's been through the same detectors many time before with no alarm), then
As a weekly business flyer, the TSA Precheck in Austin is by the far the least reliable, least efficient, most unorganized security line out of ANY airport I fly from. No where else does the regular screening line become more reliable on a
Look, I'm not sure who's running what here, but it's absolutely absurd the priority they give to Clear. The TSA should be helpful to people flying and provide security. You're telling me that you can just sign up for clear when the line is
Absolutely horrible. Extremely rude, move extremely slow when they have to go through your bags. Shoved my shoes my shoes at me and had to surrender a power tool that another airport told us to take through carry on. The told me they have
I am new to traveling with a Life Vest (portable defibrillator). I was concerned wearing the device would be a issue when going through security. I was processed through TSA Precheck with ZERO issues! The staff was extremely courteous and
The ladies in security were extremely rude, one very specifically. I pulled my laptop out but my purse got placed over it on accident and the woman lectured me about taking my laptop out. When I explained that I did take it out but I have
We stopped by the TSA Pre-check office on Nov. 21st to see if we could get our application processed on a walk-in basis. The woman at the TSA office advised us she had a full schedule that day and could not promise that we would be seen
Bunch of idiots, intercom says remove your laptop and electronics get up there some tsa lady is mumbling don’t take anything out of your bags, I’m telling her your intercom just said to, either get people that are attentive and alert to
Will and I decided to get our Pre-check. We completed everything online and drove down to the crazy Austin Airport. Thank God we were not traveling. It is Friday and was crazy busy. Vwe had appointments and the whole process took about
Tsa is awful. Especially in the small south airport terminal. Tsa confiscated my $80 items that are 2 oz and in fact travel size. TSA took them out of my bag with out my acknowledgement while I got patted down (for my bra that has no
I traveled via Austin airport today and was greeted by the most engaging and fun group of professionals from the TSA when passing through security. I travel around the US a lot and you do get treated very different depending on the
Terrible experience with TSA only. Airline staff was great. Even though they were not busy they were very pushy, rude to answer questions, have done plenty of traveling in my life and I hardly write reviews but this was horrible
Couldn’t be more rude People working security You are looked upon and spoken to with disdain One yelling this out another yelling another. If you move 1 step in the wrong direction you are chastised like
The agents here are unprofessional and completely out of line. Yelling at people in line because of YOUR miscommunication is unacceptable. Treating people with respect is the bare minimum.
TSA agents need to be aware that juice boxes for a type 1 diabetic is medicine. Threatening to take our medicine away is going to put us in bed instant panic mode. Educate yourself!!
The rudest freaking people I have ever encountered. They Grab peoples bags out of their hands, bark orders, and not a single smile among them. Worst airport experience I’ve had.
missed my flight because they had ONE person and ONE baggage line working during busy hours... what kind of freaking security line takes almost two hours to get through
3 checkpoints with only 3 lanes each with no backup or expansion capabilities is substandard. Good people onsite, but not enough infrastructure to support them.
This is the third time this has happened to me at Austin TSA and it is not okay. I’m pregnant and I choose to do the opt-out with a full pat-down every time I
People with badges acting like power hungry D bags. Be ready to take the high road because they will try their best to ruin your experience at a nice place.
Stay to the left. The middle precheck is an absolute disaster, especially after they swapped the normal lane. 1 star up the middle, 5 stars to the left
Fast, no line to get TSA precheck. Austin airport: Park in short term parking. Go to the lower level. Walk to baggage claim. Look for the sign.
Spiked gloves getting on American Airlines flight to Phoenix at Austin. AA agent Mallory said its OK? #TSA #AmericanAirlines
It has been consistently been moving smoothly since that debacle a couple of years ago. But the trauma is still there.
Awful! One of many passengers missing flights because they had 1 man working security. Worst experience ever.
Shout out to Brittany at Austin Bergstrom TSA for helping me and my mom this morning! 1/4/23 checkpoint 2.
Terrible TSA. Worst experience I’ve ever had with TSA and we fly frequently. Please get new TSA staff
What a joke. My son is active military and was searched 3 times and missed his flight.
Quality TSA checks. I wish they were paid a living wage here in Austin . xo …
Unbelievably rude TSA agents. It’s like we’re inconveniencing them by being there
Attentive service Needs a better location to accommodate waiting / seating
I had no problems at all. I followed all their guidelines. No long lines!
Terrible. They don’t answer the phone so you can’t confirm appointments.
I'm fairly certain you need to have level of trashy to be a TSA agent.
Surprisingly fast, kind, and easy process for pre check application!
Clean kind and professional Thank you for keeping our people safe
One of their TSA agents stole my medication from my purse.
Worst experience ever, very rude and unpleasant people!!!
Everything went very smoothly on our recent trip
Easy and quick if you have an appointment.
Lynn. That is all I need to say.
Tsa line is longer than non tsa
Website not very user friendly
