I visited it on 24 December night and had amazing night there with having an option of dine in. Food quality was good that became as an huge surprise, portion size was good and everything was cooked inch perfectly. But the service was very slow there was no one in the inner area and we have to wait long to seek for waiter, the ambiance was also kind of dull and boring which was also not good as it was giving an local restaurant vibe. But upon all of that i am giving the five star just because of the quality of food they are serving and our total expense was quite sense able. Highly recommend to come here and enjoy with your family to have a nice sit and talk alongside roof top view with quality food.

Extremely bad experience there not recommended. Totally unprofessional staff we had reservation at 8 p.m today we booked one day earlier so it will be convenient for them and they reserved seats for someone else also at 9 p.m they said please sit outside when we said we had reservation at 8 p.m why would we sit outside then they gave us sitting of 4 instead of 5. And they also turn off the ac's at 8:30 p.m so that we leave early. They spoiled our dinner as we got dinner at 8:25 pm at we eat dinner in extreme suffocation and in sweat. The worst food I've had anywhere.We dined at Tabaq restaurant, It came with high recommendations but failed to impress. The menu was extensive and the staff did their best to be attentive however the service did not feel genuine. When my order arrived I was stunned by the quantity on the plate. The food presentation was not eye appealing, very much disgusting in fact. The chicken that I was served was rancid and tasteless. The glass smelt like chicken which was absolutely insipid for my family and I to drink in. I'm confident the food here poisoned my wife and I as it caused us a stomach bug which resulted to an extra unexpected medical expense.This restaurant is simply unimpressive and the prices they charge is an absolute ridicule, a complete mockary in relation to what they serve on a platter.Unlikely to recommend or return to this foul restaurant. A devastating experience.

This one near Shalimar Hospital just has ambiance, roof top look and that's it! Service is very poor, only Naan & Raita taste like the one on McLeod Road. Otherwise Mutton Karahi was average & Chargha (the speciality of Tabaq) is worst! No taste, consider it just fried/steamed chicken. Poor management & untrained staff. Experience was good first time like everything was good. Went there again, there was no 1.5L cold drink like why do you even mention this on your menu then? There was no Roti and lame reason that there's no flour for roti and only Naan is available. Then the chicken karahi was not good at all, the meat was hard and pink inside. Same with Malai Boti which was overcooked! And at the time of payment they refused the payment with card with the lame excuse that the machine is broken and they are only accepting cash! Definitely not going again!

I was recommended by someone to go to Tabaq Shalamar Link Road. I though they would maintain their legacy of Lakshmi Chowk restaurant but no they have totally ruined it. I ordered one Chicken Tikka platter, one half mutton Karahi handi, and one full chicken chargha. Malai Boti from Chicken platter was good, and everything else was just average and charged us 8090 for that. They even have service charges for this poor service. Pathetic.

Bad experience we ordered tikka platter expecting a big thali type something but it was one malai boti one normal tikka 2 kabab n a leg piece in 1600+ i belive it shouldnt be more than 900 n then pepsi 1.5 ltr was mention in the menu but they said they dont serve it we have to order pepsi canes.. taste was not like smthng you feel to visit again.. i did read negative reviews but i thought they might have improved but disappointed with price n taste
