Never again! Where do I start? The place itself was dull, cold and uninviting. There were spider's in cobwebs and it looked like it had never had a thorough clean. Even the signage outside has mold on it. The chair I went to sit on was wobbly and nearly breaking, so my partner took it away and gave me a sturdier chair. I caught a glimpse of the kitchen and saw that it could use a deep clean. There were only 3 staff member's working on a Saturday night. The girl that served us was very friendly and I could tell she was anxious and overwhelmed. That's the only reason they get a 1 star rating from me at all. We had a booking for two tables, of 17 people. My partner and I were one of the first to receive our food, after 30 min's or more of waiting. Our drinks then followed, about 20 minute's later. The chip's were cold, oily and unseasoned. The popcorn prawns were cold on the outside and scarily even colder on the inside. They were very oily and tasteless. Then I burnt my hand's on the main course, the chicken and cheese Enchilada Grande. The waiter passed it straight to me, rather than placing it down on the table. He said the plate was hot. But not scolding hot. The food was flavourless, sloppy and the rice was dry as anything. It tasted as though it had been microwaved. The char grilled corn's only flavour was because of the cheese on top. The beef and cheese delgata was ok, but very bland and lacking taste. The mexican strawberry and mango slushie, tasted like there was a citrus ingredient in it that had gone bad. We spent $82 on an entire meal that was just pitiful. Such a disappointment as we never go out to eat.

Edit 2.0: since my last review, we decided to order again and it's definitely been much better. The wait time has improved tremendously. Edit: after being told the initial time of 30 minutes, we ended up waiting an hour and 20 minutes. My husband stood in there waiting while the manager or owner (?) was having a very heated argument with Uber drivers who had also been told the same time we had. We weren't offered a discount or a free drink or any compensation for the long wait with zero explanation. The poor girl at the counter was copping the brunt of the abuse while being told to still say to people calling up "20-30 minute wait". Really not good enough at all. The food is always nice but honestly, the last three times we've ordered we have been told a 20-30 minute wait and it ends up being over an hour. It's really frustrating. The food is always yummy and well priced, I just think they either need more staff or a review of their processes. If this happens again, I don't know if we'll come back.

Disclaimer: I was part of a larger group However, it took over half an hour for my drink to be made while other people on my table received drinks they had ordered after me. I was informed only when I went up to ask that the pineapple for my drink (which was the special for the day) had needed to be defrosted - something I would have been very understanding about HAD I been informed prior to me having to ask twice about my drink. The food was dry and both the chicken and the beef tasted fishy. Service was lacklustre, and while I truly do understand that service to big groups can be difficult, there is no need to seem unhappy that you're required to do it. They also didn't have enough desserts defrosted for our group to all have one (as we ordered their Fiesta share meals which had dessert included), however did offer us ice cream as a replacement. I have been to other Taco Bill locations and enjoyed them before, however in this case I was disappointed.

FOOD POISONING. I ordered the La Combination and half way throught I bit into and ate half of a Taquito which tasted very strange and the texture was slimy. I smelled it and it was way past the used by date. I called the young waiter and asked him to smell it and was also disgusted by it. He said he will be back and took the Taquito with him. He came back later with a new Taquito. There was no apology and I left about half the meal on the plate. I told him I cant trust the food they serve and wont be finishing it. He brings me the bill for the total amount all under the direction of the manager who didn't make eye contact with me the whole time. Also on previous visits I have had coke served in dirty glasses which I never bother to write a review for at the time. I went home and vomited all the food I had just eaten and had a bad stomach for the next 24 hours. DO NOT EAT HERE!!

The worst service I have ever experienced. I managed restuarants for 13 years, and never in my life would I allow what happened tonight, to have happened. We had a booking for 7 pm, were served about 15 minutes after arriving. It took another 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive, all while 2 other tables who arrived after us had already recieved their drinks. We recieved our entre about 15 minutes after our drinks arrived and after more than an hr after we arrived received our mains. As the last meal was put on our table, I asked, who I believe to be the manager, if I could get 2 more drinks. Needless to say, they never arrived. Too busy talking, to whom I believe were the managers parents. We used to eat here quite a bit and the food, when it arrived, was as amazing as always.....But we will never be back.

I called during the day to book a table for FIRST TIME (ever) dinner at the venue. No answer and I realised it was because they were still closed. No message bank, so I couldn't leave a message. I was blown away when the OWNER called me back to ask how could they help. I was able to book a table for dinner. The place is in a quiet spot of Lilydale with plenty of safe parking. The venue is homely. Super clean with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food is delicious. Perfect amount, flavours and imaculate presentation. Very fair price. The staff is friendly and happily talk with you. The owner is there, working just like the rest of the team and with the team! Thank you guys for the lovely Friday night (26/06/2020) and we will be definetely coming back very soon.

Made a booking for 5 people for 7.30pm. Arrived slightly early and was seated. Waited for over 15 mins trying to get the attention of a waitress. Eventually after 20 minutes someone came and took our order for drinks and food. Waited another 15 minutes but no drinks came nor the entree so one of us went up to the counter to see what the hold up was. Was told that the new trainee had lost our order. Placed the order again for drinks and food. Waited for a ages again and after 45 minutes decided that we were going to leave. The waitress then appeared and apologised this time using the excuse that the computer had 'lost' our order. I wouldn't set foot in that establishment again even if they paid me to eat there!

Dreadful. We ate there Saturday night... not many customers at that time. Were seated and our waitress kept her back to the customers while they all chatted behind the counter. Took around 15 min before I could catch her eye for a menu No apology . Also ordered a glass of wine.... had to ask her where was the wine and got the story of 100 mls which I doubt is true.... other customers who came in after us eating before us. We did have a coupon which we normally never use.. we always pay full price. So instead of giving us a free meal she gave us $20 disc. It was not worth the both to argue about the price... we will never eat there again. Thanks for the lack of service Nicole and losing good customers.

Taco bills is one of my favourite places to eat at we normally go to the Epping one but due to circumstances we went to the Lilydale taco bills, when we got there we order drinks and my sisters drinks tasted different even though they ordered the exact same thing ( a lemon slushy) although when asked they replaced. every thing just tasted off from the complementary salsa to the meals I would not recommend not worth the drive.

Fun old little place, staffed by a small crew. Good family friendly vibes and very high quality tasty Tex Mex cuisine. Can't wait to go back - recommend you dine in and try the margs!

It’s definitely improved since the new owners took over, food is fresher and service is usually quite friendly. However we’ve still had a couple of bad takeaway experiences, the first an item was missed. Fair enough. It happens. Second time we were told 20 mins wait time, and it was over an hour. They gave us a couple of 25% off vouchers, which isn’t really good enough for such a long delay. There are a couple of really friendly, professional staff, and there’s also a couple of less professional and not so friendly staff. So I guess their biggest problem is inconsistency.

Jessica was absolutely amazing!! She was able to cater for my MANY dietary needs (despite Mexican being the most difficult to cater for - onion, garlic, avocado etc). Despite all of this she was able to recommend dishes that would suit my needs, and even recommend switches that could be made to each meal to suit my needs. She was an awesome waitress, super friendly with jokes, and just a genuinely lovely personality (also to mention the incredible playlist we enjoyed - some good classic throw backs). Thanks Jess it was a pleasure!

Popped in for a dinner recently. Our waitress a was friendly and helpful and the food was pretty good too. My only issue is the restaurant is very tired and quite dirty, there was a huge web next to our table. It’s in desperate need of a renovation to breathe some life into it. Pretty quiet for 8pm on a Saturday night. I enjoyed the food but think I’d only take away now.

Food was mediocre, price was high, wouldn't really recommend the place.. I ordered large nacho's and paid extra for pulled beef. Had about a 1/4 cup of pulled beef, 3 cups of cheese and a handful of corn chips. Also got a side of crunchy fries which could have only been soggier if you dipped them in water. I believe the business is under new management but the food is still as terrible as it was years ago.

Service was absolutely terrible. Food that was ordered never arrived. Food we hadn't ordered arrived, and we were charged for. Waitresses were just not interested in taking our order, and more interested in clearingither tables and doing dishes. Persisted through to dessert, and then then gave up and decided to go to cold rock instead. Never again.

Been here a few times, only time we had good service was when we were the only customers in there. Things lime drinks not arriving has happened on multiple occasions. Staff turn over seems high, not sure on how many people work here, but different people every time. It's fine if all you are expecting is mediocre service and preheated mexican food.

Hideous food. Waitress put her food tray on the floor in the doorway while she took a picture for a group of people. Cleared only half our table. Plates are worn and stained. Not sure if the girls working there were 18 but serving alcohol. I've been in the industry 12 years. Pretty poor. Start again. Staff looked like they hated their lives

Great Food and great service identifying when mistakes are made and rectifying them. Only issue with food was the over salted chips side. A forgotten order in a group lost points and a bill overcharge mistake due to user errors causes a star to be lost. As a customer for 8 years we have found this store to deliver the best food outcome.

Delicious! The nachos were filling! The Mexican corn was amazing and so tasty… loved the Smokey flavour. The chicken enchiladas grande were the perfect mix of ingredients. Quesadillas were delicious and filling. The rice and beans were a perfect combo. Yum!

Great food, great service, great ambience. Food was well presented, came in a large serving size and was very tasty and enjoyable. The staff were very welcoming and kind, and the ambience was authentic yet comfortable. I have no complaints, and neither does my family. Such a shame we are only visiting the area and can't come again.

Be careful when ordering takeaway. Among some other meals we ordered the Nachos Supreme but when I got home no salsa, no guacamole, no sour cream just melted cheese on corn chips. And it wasn't like the order was rushed, I collected the food at least 30 minutes after ordering. Anyway I wish I had checked the order before leaving.

We're Bacchus Marsh Residents visiting family out in Lilydale, and imagine our surprise to find the ex-owners of the Bacchus Marsh Taco Bill restaurant having taken over management? My chicken fajitas were awesome and everyone else at the table reported similar enjoyment of their food. Lucky night!

Delicious food and excellent staff, the alcoholic drinks are amazing, plan to go there again soon. Always a good time when I go there with friends. Service is fast on unbusy nights and is still decent on busy nights.

They lost business from us because they simply didn't pay attention. We wanted additional food and drinks but didn't get a look in after the initial order. Ordered a large nachos and the plate was tiny. Plus other patrons were complaining about a foul smell form the toilet. Not a good night.

Margaritas were half price on friday night which was awesome! Food didnt take too long and staff were nice. I got a vegetarian burrito the sauce is suuuper rich. Towards the end its hard to finish. But the rice with it was a cool addition. They can split bills which is also really helpful!

Food was great, waitress lovely but noone knew how to use the coffee machine, so no hot drinks, ate and then went else where for coffee and dessert

Decided to try Taco Bill while in Australia only because the name is so similar to Taco Bell. Food was okay, high quality but not the Mexican food I'm used to in Arizona. Staff was extremely nice/helpful/smiley and restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere.

Food was nice. Place clean and neat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Worth checking your bill we were charged for a sweet which we did not order. Also another group did not receive a discount applicable for the night.

The service was really good and our waiter Sam was delightful he had the most brilliant attitude and would seriously recommend going there.
