"Customer service was horrible"
Food poisoning an hour after eating at this bueno:/ it lasted for 3 days. I see another review below stating the same thing happened to them. I love bueno but, yeaaah. The cashiers fingernails were so so dirty too, i understand the job is tough but it gave me shivers, I won’t be going back there:( More
Got a BOB with steak: soft tortilla was kinda crunchy (broke open and contents oozed everywhere) and didn't realize how salty the sauce was. IF I order again, I'll definitely ask for no sauce! Steak was comparable to Taco Cabana. Meh. 3 stars, minus 1 for the not so fresh tortilla and subsequent mess.
Food wasn't fresh, tasted like it'd been days old. Customer service left a worst taste in your mouth than the food. Seemed like they were annoyed to take your order, then in a rush to get you away from the counter even though there was one person behind us in line. I won't be returning to this place.
The Taco platter deal on tuesday is a decent price, and the food is good for "fast food tex-mex". The Salsa tends to be hotter (i'm sure there is some irony here, all things considered) than it needs to be, or they just don't care and give everyone the Firehouse, regardless of what you ask for.
Customer service was horrible. Soda machinr wasnt working, asked the cashier amd she stated "oh well" and shrugged shoulders. They got my order confused with someone elses twice amd still didnt bother fixing it. Food was below par as well. I would not recommend this place to any one
I ordered a chicken and potato burrito to find out that apparently I ordered a lettuce and potato burrito since I count a single small piece of chicken in that burrito. No wonder why is always empty that place. Just go to Taco Bell or any where else beside this place. More
Love the food come to this taco bueno at least once a week. Today i had the worst experience ever with the new manager christian. After telling me i cannot have a free ice water cause they were out of water cups he tried to charge me almost
It's my first time in Austin and I've been to Bueno every night after ACL fest and think one guy has been in the window two night this weekend (his name might be... Keatti. I'm so sorry for the spelling) and he is the most amazing employee!
It wasn’t busy when we arrived @545pm so it’s hard to rate service and atmosphere as there were three guests there, and we were two of them. I can report the bathrooms are fairly clean—with the exception of the splashes of soap all over the
I would really recommend just going to Taco Bell. We gave this a shot for the first time tonight and the quality seemed similar, but likely a little worse. Of the three employees working, two had their masks pulled down and the third wasn’t
First-time customer. Got there at noon. Had a pretty bad feeling because there wasn't a single soul there.but I thought I'd check it out. That was a mistake. Got the wrong food (I was charged for the food I got but not what I ordered), and
Food is basic and what you’d expect. Done at a higher quality than the Bell and lower than the Cabana, though about the same price as the latter. I’ve enjoyed the crispy tacos and taco salads, but was disappointed at the $6 quesadilla not
I normally don’t do reviews like this and normally have a good experience here but tonight I order a potatoe burrito and was incredibly disappointed I had just gotten off work from a fast food restaurant and can understand how annoying it
Food was decent, except they added cheese to my gfs tacos when she asked for no cheese, and we were greeted by an older woman who was very rude right off the bat, and seemed reluctant to take our order. Definitely not coming back if shes
This is the WORST taco bueno spot I’ve ever been to. At first when I had gotten my food (and I ALWAYS get the same thing) so back to when I got it, I noticed there was something off and opened the taco, and inside were DEAD FLIES on the
Awesome customer service, my card was declined and they waited until I transfered money into my account. Sean and his crew were polite and all worked very hard. Keep doing what your doing thanks for working with me and waiting! 5 stars.
I was fortunate enough to eat at the first TB in Abilene Texas in the early 70's. As a child and teen, we are hooked on those awesome burritos and tacos. They serve a great chili sauce with the beans. The beans had flavor not bland.
Fast food Mexican ranging from "perfectly acceptable" to "pretty good, actually". If you enjoy gimmick food items (and I do from time to time), then Taco Bell's your destination, but otherwise Bueno is bueno.
Their Muchaco is not to be missed. It reminds me of the tacos from a Guatemala lady I knew who made a puffy dough. I've been chasing that taco since college and I can't believe I found it at a drive-through!
The meat was nasty...the staff was like the mob, dirty tables and they were standing there leaning on the counters maybe because they were in their 40's. Last time I ever go there or any taco no bueno.
I used drive thru as it was later in the evening, I confused the employee as I'm from out of town and the menu is different where I live elsewhere in the state, (I hate it when chains do that).
Fewer and fewer Taco Bueno locations in south or central Texas. So anytime I have the chance, I visit one. This is one of two Austin-area locations (the other is on Slaughter Lane, near MoPac.
I love Taco Bueno, but this location really needs an entire new team of staff that actually focus on the company's goals and morals. Customer service could use a major adjustment as well.
Better than taco Bell and you don't have to get a drink with your plate. Only didn't give it a 5, since you can probably get something better at a taco stand for around the same price.
Not really sure one star applies. I really didn’t have much of an experience at this particular Taco Bueno. Well where to start, i’m pretty sure the person who is at the microphone is
The star is for the nice guy at the register. That was the blandest, poorly made, and sad attempt ast texmex I've come across. This makes taco bell seem authentic in comparison.
The food is consistently good here, especially for fast food. We dined in and the manager was very kind and checked on us. He also brought us fresh cinnamon chipsfor the kids!
This is the way Taco Bueno should taste, the quality is exceptional. Staff left a bit to be desired but it's fast food so I can't complain. There need to be more Taco Buenos!
This was my first experience with Taco Bueno and this location was fabulous. Clean, quiet, and great food. The cream cheese chimis are incredible. A must have!!
Being from Fort Worth Taco Buenos are everywhere, it's really nice to have one here in Austin. Food was good as always and the customer service is great.
Ordered for uber eats actually The taco chicken plate and extra guac. Opened the box and everything was cold. The only decent thing was the guac. The
Came in for beef taco. Had not had them in a while. They had no beef and sold me a sub par chicken taco. Did not cure my craving for a good taco.
The service can be lacking and the salsa bar tends to be a mess. That queso here is ok for 99 cent promotion. There are diffrent kinds of queso.
Refreshing alternative to Taco Cabana or Taco Bell. Better shells, better meat, fresher produce, fresh salsa. A favorite fast food spot.
It's worst than taco bell. Went once never went back. If it was good like some people say there would be lots cars in the parking lot.
But weight it must be the most expensive restaurant in town. The portions have gotten tiny for a meal that costs the same as others.
Here's some tough love for staff at this location... Listen up Management and customers, please clean up your condiment bar. Loyal
I've been a BUENO HEAD since the 80's and this is one of the BEST! Very nice people great salsa and fresh food!! Thanks Guy's
Pretty good tex mex fast food but the construction makes it a liitle harder to get in and out. Definitely worth the effort.
Good fast food tacos. Inexpensive and quick. Real meat, not questionable materials like some other fast food taco places.
I really really like the Mucho Nachos. The crunchy Tacos are good to. Not "Authentic" this is way better than taco smell.
Great food. Love this place! Obsessed with their beef tacos! So much better than Taco Bell! Taco Bueno never disappoints!
I love the nachos here! Big portions. This location is usually pretty clean. Great salsa bar. Good fast food tex-mex.
Yummy quesadillas and tacos, nachos kinda bland though. Bathrooms are very clean and smell nice.

Food was good. Price was right. Setting area was not so clean. Sunday afternoon. Staff kinda not doing their Jobs.
Staff is always friendly and the food is decent and affordable. Better than Taco Bell, but still fast food.
Great fast food place for tacos. Definitely better than most of the other fast food tex-mex places around.
Really enjoy their food so much more than Taco Bell. It tastes like real food and not so much fast food.
Nice fast food that tastes good but it doesn't look very sanitary in the kitchen
Best fast food Mexican. Love the tacos, bean burritos, and salsa.
