This is newly opened restaurant in Mulund West. It is situated exactly opposite to Nirmal Lifestyle, LBS road. Just 2-3 mins drive from both Nahur & Mulund Station. It is pure vegetarian restaurant covering variety of cuisines like Indian, Italian & Chinese. The ambience is classy with spacious Dining Hall. Even the parking space is available for pvt vehicles. The wooden dining chairs are perfectly matching with the interiors. All safety precautions are taken care of, so it's completely safe to have your meal here post covid. We were hosted by Mr.Varun Samtani who itself is the Founder of this place.The whole menu is curated by him. He was courteous & cooperative. Overall service is quick & excellent by all the staff. What we ordered? Cheese Corn Balls :Cheese balls were perfectly crispy textured & cheesy from inside. Cheese pull was on point. Served with orange mayo based sauce. Paneer Peri Peri Tikka: Soft & Fresh Paneer cubes tossed in Peri Peri based masala & grilled with capsicum. Tastes awesome with green pudina chutney. Stuffed Mushroom: We personally loved this one. A big sized mushrooms slit from centre & filled with juicy mixture. Loved each & every bite of it. Highly recommended Soya Malai Tikka: Creamy & mild soya chaap loaded with Malai & lot if grated cheesy. We never had soya chaap before. It was worth trying here. Highly recommended. Sev Kurkure Kebab: This is their chef special dish. One of the unique combination in vegetarian kebabs where succulent kebabs rolled in crunchy sev & then grilled to perfection in tandoor. Loved the taste! Kaju Masala with Butter Garlic Naan: Fresh & crunchy cashew cooked to perfection in mild spicy & creamy thick gravy. Portion was good. Their Butter Garlic Naan is must try from Indian Breads section. Do give it a try with your favourite sabji aside. Desserts: Finally ended our heavy meal with sumptuous & rich Moong Dal ka Halwa. Loaded with dryfruits!! Every bite of that halwa just melted in our mouth. Highly recommended dessert here. Their specialty is they offer jain option in almost 80% of dishes. Rates are cheaper without compromising on quality. This time we tried their mostly North Indian dishes, but they have wide range of Italian Dishes also in their menu which are must try. This was our first dining out after a long period of over 2 years . Having studied the reviews of all nearby vegetarian restaurants in Bhandup and Mulund West , we zeroed in on " Tadka & Spice Veg Restaurant". We had read all the reviews and at 4.8 rating with around 200 people this was a unanimous choice for the 4 of us . We were all very happy with the fantastic services and this was by far very easily our best Eating out Experience for various reasons . The owner Mr.Varun was a complete gentleman and humility and politeness personified. He gave us a lot of insights on their menu and his recommendations and every dish we ordered was truly yummy tasty and most satisfying . Every ingredient spices flavors were perfect and to our delight the cost was very reasonable. We had Lemon coriander and veg manchow soups. Exceptional taste and appetising . Next we had Veg Manchurian and Paneer Dilkhush, again fabulous taste . The paneer very fresh soft and very easy on the stomach . We had Veg Dum Biryani for main course and again as was Varuns recommendation it was a delightfully flavorful dish and we enjoyed it a lot. We also had Blue lagoon , Line Mint mocktail and jaljeera and it too was a 10/10 like all the rest we had last night . Finally we had Gulkhand Almond Kulfi and sizzling Brownie and yet again unquestionably was yummy . Our entire hour and quarter of time spent here was most enjoyable and memorable as such experiences are far and few and we have Varun the perfect host to thank for as he made our visit a very happy one. We hope to visit this place once in a while for sure as we are not eating out people a lot but would wish to try out new dishes as also the ones we had as they were winners all the way. It has sitting capacity of around 40-50 guests. The staff is cooperative and friendly. Tadka and spice is known for its variety in North Indian cuisine. right from starters to main course almost all the dishes are unique and flavorful. almost all the dishes can be prepared in jain. from the menu, we tried Cheese croquette: One of the best starters from the menu. the cheesy croquette was crispy. perfectly fried and served with Mayyonise. Veg Bhutan: new version of dry Manchurian with tangy and spicy red sauce and bell peppers. the balls were cooked properly and overall it was balanced dish. Paneer muncheese: Something new and delicious paneer starter. the paneer was stuffed with spicy red masala and deep fried with the coating of cornflour. highly recommend it. Schzewan cheese kebabs: Spicy and flavorful veg kebabs made along with Schzewan sauce. it had cheese at the center. balance in taste.beautiful texture. Paneer makhmali: softest paneer i had till now. so creamy and heavenly. paneer makhmali had cheese on top. highly recommend it. Dahi ke kebab: very less spicy and soft tikkis made with paneer and curd.loved the texture. The food is not just delectable, it is also plated and presented well. Here is a list of all the dishes we tried at Tadka and Spice. We have arranged them as per our TASTEMETRE (BEST ONES FIRST) 1. Melting Cheese Kebab which is a part of their new menu. We loved this starter so much that we ended up ordering half a dozen others. The melting cheese kebab is a great addition to their menu as it has a burst of flavours that people of all age groups and taste palates will be able to appreciate. The kebab base has a starchy, carb-y texture and the hollow in th centre is filled with goey, melting cheese. I love the texture as well as the taste of this starter a little too much and that's the reason that I might order in from this place very soon. 2. Soya Peshawari Tikka : loved the taste of this subtly spicy and tasty soya based starter. 3. Gulab Badam Milkshake: Loved this rose flavoured milkshake. The flavour is very rich and the they drop in a generous load of sliced badams. Delicious! 4. Brownie Milkshake: Quite tasty and thick. 5. PavBhaji: The presentation is on point. The bhaji could have been more flavourful. The pav as well as the bhaaji are very buttery in taste. Overall the food was good but the ambience could see a little more work. Outstanding Food. Different taste. Good fast service and Helpful staff (Full of Love). We were thinking of Punjabi dishes but didn’t have much option. We entered Tadka and Spice first time and our eyebrows raised due to cost of sabzi and other stuff. But as soon as food came, the amazing taste again raised our eyebrows but this time it was for satisfaction that we ate something different and we were blown out with taste. In their Menu, There is a concept of half dish and full dish which is good. This makes small group of 2 or big group of 5 to 6 people to decide budget and quantity both. Instead of 1 full sabzi luckily captain suggested us 2 half sabzi which was a great idea (concept of half worked here well). We Opted for 1 starter 2 half sabzi’s (Paneer Lababdar and Veg Myra) 5 butter Rotis 2 Naans 1 half Jeera Rice Gulab Jamun 1 Fresh Lime Soda Total Bill was ₹ 1380/- (for 3 adults and 1 Child) Gulab Jamun was offered to us for free. Full points for great Food and Good taste. They have variety of starters which makes them different too as against conventional south indian mumbai hotels. I am a foody person and I love eating delicious food (like everyone else I am sure. :)) I have been ordering from different restaurants in Mulund since I shifted here 3 years back. But I never got a food worth my money ever. I crave for taste and perfection while having my food and good food has always been my weakness. Now coming to "Tadka & Spice", this place offers a taste that you will never regret. After 3 long years, my search for good restaurants in Mulund brought me to this place which really made my taste buds feel alive. Varunji is an amazing, polite and wonderful person/host. So its not just food but the perfect balance of food and people what makes this place worth visiting or ordering from. I ordered Paneer Dilkhush Tikka and Stuffed Mushroom in starters. Both the dishes were awesome but Stuffed Mushroom was too good. And quality of Paneer was just too good. Fresh and soft to the core. For main course, we ordered Paneer Lababdar and Tawa Bhuna Masala (kofte). Needless to say, both the dishes were good. In breads, we tried Lachha Paratha and Cheese Naan. It was simply amazing. We ended our meal with Rasgulla, which is an evergreen sweet dish. All these dishes were suggested by Varunji and we were right to consider his suggestions. So thanks a lot to the whole team of this restaurant for this tasty food.

Tadka & Spice: A very nice restaurant located in Mulund W opposite Nirmal Lifestyle Mall. My recent visit to this place was worth it. I just walked in as I was real hungry and was very keen having some great food. The ambience is pretty good and simple, loved the hospitality here. Coming to the food now, let me tell you that the food was too good. There are variety of options to pick from the menu, but since I was confused on what to order, Mr Samtani the manager and owner helped me with the best options that I could order according to my preference. Thanks to him too So I've ordered for: Paneer Mancheese Veg Manchurian Noodle Soup Coriander Lemon Soup Mains: Malai Kofta Paneer Lazeez Breads: Naan Roti Kulcha Desserts: Moong Dal Halwa Rose Kulfi Don't miss to have the rose Kulfi in the end. You can't miss that. It's damn good. Concluding this I would say loved the food, it's too good! Also let me tell you the the prices are quite reasonable and not much heavy for your pockets. This place is all about customer service, food is delicious too. The owner is super generous and pays utmost attention to detail. Another great thing about the place is 1/2 plates, so you can order more items without having to waste food. The pricing is also very good. They can improve a bit on training their internal staff to be proactive. Ambience also needs a facelift. Menu can be expanded to include South Indian. It's always a treat visiting this restaurant!

I was there last week, and while the food was decent, the overall experience was poor. They won't let you sit in peace for even a minute until you place an order for the next dish. Tip: If you plan to dine here while waiting for someone, it's better to wait outside. As soon as you occupy a table, they'll expect you to order immediately. They might even ask multiple times if you're "actually" waiting for someone. Furthermore, they seem to rush you to finish your meal as quickly as possible and leave. We took a bit longer to complete our main course, and to our surprise, they had already set up the finger bowls, indicating that we should leave as soon as possible. All of this happened even when the restaurant was almost empty. Perhaps they are concerned about their electricity costs, but this kind of experience can leave you with a negative impression.

Food 5/5 Paneer starter was well prepared and presented. Tried two gravies. Kofta in read gravy and veggies in yellow gravy. Both were fantastic. Lassi and brownie shake both were heavy. Overall food is full of balanced flavour. Service super 5 Varun manages this restaurant. One of the polite professional I have seen. He almost decided menu for us. I was surprised by the quality of food they serve and I became a fan. One of the best vegetarian food serving restaurant in Mulund West by far. We tried different types of Starters like Paneer Dilkhush which was made by their In-house Paneer, the softest paneer I have ever had. Also loved the Melting Cheese Garlic Bread and Chole Bhature Bombs. Also loved the Stuffed Mushrooms and Popeye Cigar Rolls. For Main course we tried Veg Hungama which was Paneer & Vegetable Kheema with Folding Naan which is a speciality of Delhi. You must definitely try their Folding Naan with Sabji. Finally we ended with Desserts and the Gulab Badam Kulfi & Moong Dal ka Halwa were superb. I am visiting this place soon with friends to try more dishes. Tadka and Spice is a wonderful restaurant that can be found in Mulund. They have done a wonderful job with the lighting and the design, creating an atmosphere that is perfect for a family restaurant. The meal is great, and it is also expertly made here. They provide some of the best Jain food in the city along with a diverse selection of menu items to choose from. The staff as well as the owner, Mr. Varun, were quite kind and helpful. Was here for dinner last evening, and to start, we had almond and broccoli soup. It was the perfect combination of broccoli, cream, and almond all in one cup. As a starter, we were served Paneer stuff roll, Paneer munchies, Schezwan sheekh kebab, and cheese croquettes. To sip on something we ordered Gulab badam milkshake and brownie milkshake. If you find yourself in this area, don't let the opportunity to try their Indian starters and milkshakes pass you by.

I decided to try Tadka n Spice on my short visit to Mumbai on a neighbour's recommendation. Entrance of the restaurant was bright and well lighted. When we entered, we were greeted by the staff nicely. Ambience was okay, but I was told that they have plans to improve the ambience after the monsoon season. Now comes the food... which took the cake and elevated our experience to the next level! The owner (Varun) made sure to have a personal connect and recommended his best dishes himself. Food was absolutely mind blowing. We tried - classic mint mojito, cream of mushroom soup, manchow soup, paneer makhmali tikka, cheese croquettes, Chinese thali and Gulab Jamun with ice cream. I can't recommend the food enough. The rating should say it all

Yes you heard it right i recently visited that place called as "Spice and Tadka". Basically it is located at Mulund West. Starting from the starters i had Stuffed mushrooms ( i'hv never ever tasted such mushroom dish , totally delicious ) and Soya Tandoori tikka. Based on this we were very excited to order main course and whats better than Paneer for a pure vegetarian, so we had Delhi shahi Paneer ( Extremely pleasant and tasty ) and thereafter mouthwatering Paneer Biryani. Ending our day with my personal favourite Brownie milkshake. So conclusively i can say its a best place to visit with friends and family

Soya Pahadi Tikka, soya marinated in traditional Indian tandoori spices. excellent in taste! Highly recommended! Went for Barbeque Paneer Pizza & Chinese Thali for mains! Pizza was good in taste. 16Jan22 visited this place with my parents and i wasn’t disappointed… We ordered paneer cigar excellent then hara bara kabab it seemed was good coming to sabzi we ordered veg lajawab and other was kind of mix veg tasted different from each other and was really good rotis were good nothing special the usual … Moctails and desert especially rose kulfi were excellent which was in house prepared …just the dal makhni tasted bit tangy which was dampener but over all enjoyed the meal and will visit again especially because of a very humble owner and excellent staff they were taking care of the serving brilliantly and the owner suggests you dishes which u definitely like … keep up the good work and will visit again a better dal makhani is due

Today I visited this restaurant in Mulund . And after a very long time we had superb delicious veg food. I mean we had ordered manchow soup, french fries, pasta,cheese garlic bread,cheese garlic nan, garlic nan,beg jalfrezi and chaas. All the food items were so tasty. And the service and ambience is also awesome. Really telling 5 star is less for this restaurant. I can rate them 10,50 100 etc etc Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Ambience 5/5 I could not upload any pics of the dishes because the presentation and the taste of food was so awesome that as soon as food came we just started eating. After finishing our lunch then it came to our mind to take pics hahahahaha. But no worries next time pakka will upload all the pics. Thank you

Tadka & Spice is very decent family restaurant in mulund west near nirmal mall it’s nice place to enjoy lunch and dinner with your family they also have chaat items outside in the evening talking about it has decent ambience and service is really good and the food quality is also good we tried: virgin mojito brownie milkshake cheesy nuggets paneer dilkhush tikka delhi shahi paneer folding naan gulab jamun with ice cream all the items we tried were delicious… cheesy nuggets and delhi shahi paneer is a must try Overall its a great place to spend some lovely time with delicious food TOTALLY RECOMMENDED

Our family of 5 decided to visit Tadka and spice for my sister bday celebration. The vibe was very warm and cozy, food quality was good and fresh. The service was excellent and they offer good food at reasonable price. The food we ordered: 1.soya malai chap 2. Cheese nuggets 3. Dry manchurian. Main course: kadai paneer, garlic naan and tandoori roti. Note: we complained that Dry manchurian was salty and they gave us a replacement of it. They take feedback very well.

Food is good . Few waiters were there so service was very slow but the person at the counter was smiling and asked everyone, How was the food and requested to visit again. So everyone was happy while going out. They served water with pudina and lemon slice which was refreshing. Rates were somewhat at higher side but quantity was large. It is on Main road so parking problem is there.

What to say about the food of this place, it's one of the best vegetarian food I have ever tasted since long. yummy mushroom soup, melt in mouth corn cheese balls and cheese croquettes which are something different, are few amazing dishes to name that this place serves. The chef of this place has a youtube channel called veg shahi khana ... The videos tells you more about the experience of this Chef's Mr.Varun Santani then anything but his food can justify. He has vast experience in food industry... To cut the long review short.. go ahead and order the food now to satisfy your food cravings.

Food is delightful and some of the dishes are unique and well done. The service is exemplary. Ask for a recommendation and try it. It is unlikely one would be disappointed. Parking could be a challenge given its location

Couteous and helpful staff. Above average taste which can be improved further. Spice is missing in some food items. Service time on weekend is lil high. More attention given to larger group ignoring small families. I visited here third time. This time also, the tadka and spice both were missing from the dishes. Tasted slightly blunt. Also, the jeera rice was literally dipped in oil. Need to improve on cooking side

The food is amazingly delicious. Punjabi and even Chinese is yummy. The food quality makes up for the service. While the staff is very hospitable and friendly, they need to take care of careless spills. There is a good option to order 'half' portions of most dishes this avoiding wastages. Parking is available on this usually busy road. We'd reserved a table and yet had to put up with a temporary arrangement but maybe that could've been avoided by proper prior planning by the management. Go for the yummy food, word of advise, avoid weekends.

Hospitality is at par. We visited this restaurant after reading about other review comments. And it's been a good decision to have a great Dinner at this restaurant. Team members are courteous and take of all aspects of guests' needs. Special thanks to the owner of the restaurant who is so humble and takes care of everyone who visits there. Not a person who generally heads to Google and writes reviews about the restaurants. However, this place has amazing hospitality and a very courteous staff. At all the times, they made sure that we were comfortable and paid attention to small details. Basic etiquettes such as asking if the food was up to the mark, greeting customers with smile goes a very long way. We had Indian cuisine and the food was tasty as well.

Tried Cheese Kebab Cigar starter , my 5 year old boy enjoyed a lot... served in a beautiful way, Also tried Dum Biryani, Sev Kurkure Kebab, customization available, Owner himself bestows personal attention to customers.. makes sure everything goes perfect, courteous and Good staff,very Polite one ,very nice ambience with low volume music which helps you to relieve your daily stress, and yes you can spend a quality time with your loved ones

The restaurant specialised in north Indian food, especially Punjabi food. The ambience is really nice, with good music going on in the background. The restaurant seems really clean and tidy with the staff also dressed up properly and very courteous. We ordered Masala Papad. Hara Seekh Kebab was a delight. In the mains we ordered Dal, Palak Paneer with Garlic Naan and folding Naan. The Palak Paneer was absolutely amazing! Definitely a place to try out if you like Indian food!

We ordered thalis, the taste and quality of food was really good. Just the quantity of rice in thali waa a bit less. The service was a bit slow due to many orders but still the food quality was really good. The manager there gave us good service. The prices are reasonable. Overall all it was a good experience.

All dishes whether it is Chinese, Indian or Italian are finger licking. Its a Savior for lockdown. Foodies cant stop themselves to visit once and I bet after that they won't stop. In every dish the flavors, ingredients are up to the mark & no more words to describe the delicious food.

Loved the food here! Every dish is made in a special way. Especially loved the paneer here... the best paneer I have had. They make it inhouse and I think that really showed in the taste.
