I purchased the ramadan special and it was the only thing I would get and it's so good that I don't want to venture away from it. The special included a large habibi bowl, with lentis soap and two samosas. The habib bowl is incredible and in the large size, it can last you for a meal and a half. The lentils soap was not to my liking, however, I think that has more to do with pallet, more than quality of the soap. The two samosas were good, not the best I had but respectable. This was all for about 20$ I believe, however now that ramadan is over, you must purchase the items separately, which is more expensive. However, I occasionally purchase the habibi bowl on it's on. The staff are quite friendly. I have never seen it full but there usually is someone eating there. It is located in a plaza so there is plenty of parking, however it does get full by other shoppers. Tip: download their app for your purchase, it gives you quite a discount on your first order. I recommend you try it

This Franchise has some the cringest posts on IG, but it's what got me to try this place. Ordered Jerk Chicken Shawarma and a Shawarma bowl. The Shawarma bowl is nice you can tell everything this made fresh. The portion is huge, everything about it Is delicious. The Jerk Chicken Shawarma is the star. This shouldn't be a limited time item, I would come weekly for it. Everything about the wrap works harmoniously with one another. The pineapple with the jerk chicken Shawarma meat and the heat of the wrap is perfect. I highly recommend this place, but more importantly the Jerk chicken Shawarma. Shout out to the staff as well. The two gentlemen today were professional and friendly. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a delightful meal. 9/10.

-10 out of 5 stars save your money go elsewhere I kept hearing about the hype for this place on TickTock and everywhere else so I decided to order today a chicken Shawarma and rice bowl meanwhile it was a sauces rice bowl when I asked the gentleman at the front for the sauce does it come individually on the side he said yes it comes on the side if you want and you guys can be the judge on this one there was not even a half a cup of chicken in that whole bowl and here is the icing on the cake I ordered a felafel wrap it was not even grilled or warmed up at least and I added fries in it there was no fries in the wrap but I paid extra I had to cut the wrap in two to double check for it not even this could match what’s next I ordered a 10 piece of Samosa I only received 6 pieces Overall the food was completely horrible wouldn’t recommend this place not even to my enemy

When I look for Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisine, I tend to play it safe, meaning I don’t stray too far from the authentic taste. However, Tahini’s has taken it one step further, by offering an Indian infused twist to its menu. I had the butter chicken wrap. Let me say, the flavours were spot on. The wrap itself isn’t the generic pita wrap you find everywhere. Instead, they serve it with Saj bread, which is more flakey and flavourful. The butter chicken itself was not over soaked in butter chicken sauce, so the wrap wasn’t soggy from start to finish. As a side note, I ordered the large sized wrap and I was shocked to see it was a whopping 14” in length. Now that’s one massive wrap! So keep that in mind if you aren’t coming off a week-long fast. It’s a lot of food! Overall, I am definitely making a return visit, as you should too!

Worst shawarma I have ever had, got a falafel wrap for takeaway it was completely dry, no sauce no dressing in it, the tortilla wrap was stretchy like a plastic and even got a chicken bowl that had no flavours even though we asked spicy, instead of sauce it felt like mayo was added. Came to Tahini’s with a lot of expectation and I actually came to know from the YouTube page but I won’t come here ever. Totally waste of money and food. I’m surprised that this place has a 4.6 star rating. I wonder if the reviews were bought. I saw it on social media and the positive reviews made me order. What a disappointment. First, the food smells like stale oil. The oil they add on the bread at the end must not have been changed in months. The sandwiches were stuffed with just onions and barely anything else. Took 2 bites and all I could taste is onion. The attached picture is how much onion we pulled out of half a sandwich. Pure onion party with sauce wrapped in bread dipped in stale oil. Save your money and go somewhere else. Wasted $43 on overpriced nothingness.

National shawarma day here. Waiting 25min to order and over 40 min for the food to be made. Only 4 staff working. Horrible experience here. During the wait I walked over to another Afghan restaurant and was happy with the food there. Walked back to get the shawarma order and they got it wrong anyway. Brutal won't be back. Embarrassing. Happen to be in the Rexdale neighbourhood -one I know well growing up not far from here- for my daughter’s driving school class and we shared this huge and incredible bowl. The staff is really good. Store is always maintained clean and good safety guidelines are followed. Preet and Nitish in specific are very humble and welcoming. Decided to finally try tahinis. Overall is a good shawarma. The staff was very friendly and helpful hard to find good stuff like that nowadays. Felt welcome from the minute we walked in. Clean location and like I said the shawarma was good. Don't get the large one unless you're very very hungry it was very filling.

The employees were really helpful and made ordering really easy. I ordered 5 shawarmas. All of them had a lot of flavour. Best part of the shawarma was their pita bread. Homemade and cook to perfection. They have a great garlic and tahini sauce. On top of that, it’s halal! Definitely will be coming back here.

We ordered the Shawn Bowl with chicken, Tahinis Chicken, Chicken Shawarma wrap, and the Maya Salad with Gyro. Everything was great, very unique flavors from your standard shawarma place. Would definitely come back!
