Words cannot begin to describe the professionalism, kindness and hospitality we experienced with Takims and our spectacular host and driver Rajabu. My husband and I decided to honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar, and it was a trip of a lifetime. Our flight landed in Kilimanjaro and we’re immediately greeted by Rajabu, he made us feel at home right away! He was knowledgeable of Tanzanias history and culture which we were both eager to learn about. Our itinerary started with a hike on Kilimanjaro and then we proceeded to our first accommodations. Raj always made sure we knew exactly what was next on our itinerary without feeling rushed or chaotic. Our schedule was always smooth and flexible. The minute we started the game drive in mayanra national park, we knew we got so lucky as Raj would spot all of the animals immediately! Making our pictures of the game drive always an adventure. He literally has eagle eyes and would spot a leopard from a mile away! He ensured we always had a lunch packed and would often setup a private picnic for us in whichever park we were visiting. With him as our guide we managed to catch 4 crossings during the migration! We often saw giraffes, zebras, elephants and more but the biggest finds were always the cats! We saw multiple lions and their cubs, and the highlight find was 3 cheetahs in Serengeti, what a sight! Finally after we thought we had seen everything, Raj coordinated with our hotel to drive to us a private bush dinner, it was an unforgettable time. My husband and I took our honeymoon to Tanzania in October/November with Takims. We cannot say enough good things about the trip and have not stopped talking about it & dreaming of being back there over the last 6 months. Planning our tour with Tehsin was a great experience, he listened to all of our requests and made changed as necessary. We started our trip off with a hike at Kilimanjaro, traveled to Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Eyasi to meet some amazing tribes, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and ended in Zanzibar. The trip not only met, but completely exceeded all of our expectations. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. BIG THANKS to our guide Aloyce who helped to make the trip exactly what we wanted and to his binocular vision for helping us find EVERY type of animal out there!! We could not have imagined a better way to start our marriage and hope to be back again one day- we would 100% book with Takims again and would request Aloyce as our guide! Thanks again!

Have done two safari trips with Takim’s, having just completed the second this last week with my wife and 10 friends. We also had a wedding in Zanzibar and spent some time in Dar. Takim’s team did a phenomenal job with end to end experience including communication and catering to our needs. Resort stays were impeccable, the safari guides Nixon and Aloyce were both super friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. Invoicing and payment options were easy to maneuver and itineraries matched perfectly with what we experienced. Even the little details like transporting secondary luggage to our places to stay in Dar during safari was the extra mile we needed. Finally, Takim’s recommended a balloon tour in the Serengeti that was out of this world and something our group will never forget. Everything was impeccable and to be able to repeat that type of service more than once is where the thanks truly lies. Great work Takim’s and team!

My boyfriend and I just returned from our trip to Kilindi - Elewana Zanzibar organized by Takims Holidays. The actual experience at Kilindi was nothing like we have ever experienced before. The privacy, quality of the service, the facilities were exceptional. We have really enjoyed the over all experience of working with Takims Holidays and certainly looking forward to planning our next trip in the near future. I found the service and response of this travel agency to be excellent. Our emails were promptly responded to, and Arefa and Abbas really understood what we need. Great recommendations, amazing attention to detail. Easily 5-stars. Our Driver Tariq from Takims Holidays was the BEST, very professional. The Staff at Kilindi Zanzibar were Amazing. Lilian who was the battler that was asssigned to us was FABULOUS. She anticipated our every need. An absolutely brilliant experience with memories that will last a lifetime.

My wife and so did only 3 days on Safari with Takims but they were outstanding. I went back and forth a TON with the office customizing the itinerary and they were incredibly helpful and responsive. Whether tweaking the schedule or tailoring our lodging sites they were truly outstanding, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Our guide showed up the night before pickup for a brief and we talked through the plan and he let us tweak the timing as best we saw fit. He was great and knowledgeable from start to finish which is important since you are in the car a LOT, whether on game drives or going between parks. We felt extremely well taken care of from start to finish and all the little things were very well done, up until the time they helped us get through security at the airport. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Takims for anyone looking for a guide for their Tanzanian Safari.

I found the service and response of this travel agency to be excellent. Easily 5-stars, giving them 4 so that they keep improving. My emails were promptly responded to, and everyone showed up when they were supposed to. We found the English of our private guide to be excellent (I could understand all what he said), and the tour was "fantastic." Like we had lunch in very good tourist trap restaurant near the ruins. He did take us "off the beaten path" at the sites, so it was a very enjoyable tour. Our guide was very friendly and courteous, and he constantly provided us with free bottled water and refreshments. If you ask me if I will use Takims Holidays again, I'd do it again "for the best experience." Keep up the good work!!!

Our tour of the Serengeti was an adventure of a lifetime, surpassing expectations and above and beyond any other trips I've experienced. Takims was clearly a level above the other tour groups we came across - experienced, first class, safe. The guides provided a seamless and worry free experience while providing a nice touch of commentary and answered our endless questions about the natural beauties we saw. The vehicles were first class, safe, and comfortable for the whole ride. I'm glad we didn't settle for other tour options that would have created more worries and uneasiness about this unique experience. Let Takims take care of all the details so you can immerse yourself fully into the wonders of this part of the world.

Fantastic company to use for safari trips. Lodging and meals at every location were fantastic, including the two tented camps at which we stayed. If you have mobility issues, as one of our group did, don't hesitate to let them know. Not only did they get some very secure steps to help her in and out of the safari vehicles, but they also arranged with the lodging establishments to get her room as close to the front desk and dining room as possible. They certainly went to every length possible to ensure we all had a wonderful time. Would not hesitate to take another trip with this company. Absolutely wonderful from our drivers/guides to the office staff making the arrangements.

My girlfriends and I went on a safari with Takims Holidays after our Kilimanjaro hike. We visited Tanzania during the Wildebeest migration and Takims Holidays was very helpful and responsive in helping us to craft the safari 'experience' we desired. They suggested an itinerary with sights, and hotels that suited our budget. Our driver was very knowledgeable, patient and stopped for all of our bathroom breaks along the way :) (this happens with a van full of women). I would highly recommend Takims Holidays as a safari tour operator in East Africa to anyone seeking for an incredible and memorable adventure!

Takims Holiday is a professional, well-organized and excellent tour operator! They planned the entire safari tour to Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara in a short-period of time. Our tour guide, Isaac, was excellent and very knowledgeable. He kept in mind what we wanted to see and curated the experience and narrative accordingly. We couldn’t have had a better experience. We wanted to add a quick trip to Tarangire on the last day. Takims was quick and flexible to accommodate this request. We will definitely choose Takims for our next holiday!

We just completed an 8 day safari with Takims. It was life changing. We had 3 guides. All were extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much. And they are fun to spend the day on bumpy roads with. Every detail of the trip is planned with care, and the details are special. The lodging is varied- hotels, luxury tents, resorts- all wonderful in their own way. Highly recommend using this company

takim and his team are absolute rock stars, booked a safari with them last minute, their were very honest amd truthful unlike many of the ther companies. from the lodge to game reserve to flights they handled ever thing down to the last request. definitly going to use them again and refer everyone i know.

Absolutely loved our safari with Takims Holidays. Our guides were phenomenal and very knowledgeable. They went out of their way to be sure to find all of the animals we wanted to see. And they hooked us up with some seriously cool accommodations at Pioneer Camp where the staff was also superb.
