Ich komme aus Peru und lerne Deutsch bei Tandem. In dem Deutschkurs A1-1 habe ich zwei gute Lehrerinnen. Die Klasse ist intensiv, weil wir jeden Tag neue Wörter lernen. Die erste Woche war schwierig, weil meine Muttersprache Spanisch ist, aber in der vierten Woche kann ich auf Deutsch sprechen und schreiben. Die Sprachschule liegt zwischen der Baumwall-Station und der Michaeliskirche, dem Symbol von Hamburg. Man kann dort auch Freunde aus fast allen Kontinenten kennenlernen. Oft spielen wir Kinderspiele auf Deutsch, das macht viel Spaß. Hausaufgaben-Machen ist auch wichtig! Wir haben jede Woche Hausaufgaben. Wenn meine Antworten nicht gut sind, hilft die Lehrerin mir immer, dann habe ich keine Angst. Bei Tandem gibt es WIFI Internet, wenn ich ein neues Wort nicht verstehe, suche ich in meinem Handy die Bedeutung auf Spanisch und schon bin ich fertig. Ein Wörterbuch ist auch wichtig! Mein Handy und das Wörterbuch Spanisch-Deutsch bringe ich zur Klasse mit. Jetzt fange ich den Deutschkurs A1-2 an. Neue Wörter, neue Grammatik und neue Freunde! Bei Tandem lerne ich gern Deutsch und ich lerne auch über mein neues Zuhause, HAMBURG. Yo vengo de Perú y aprendo Alemán en Tandem. En el curso A1-1 tengo dos buenas profesoras. La clase es intensiva porque cada día aprendemos nuevas palabras. La primera semana fue difícil porque mi lengua materna es Español, pero en la cuarta semana yo puedo hablar y escribir en Alemán. La escuela de idiomas esta entre la Estación Baumwall y la iglesia Michael, que es el símbolo de Hamburgo. También allá se puede conocer amigos de casi todos los continentes. Frecuentemente jugamos Juegos para Niños en Alemán y es muy divertido. ¡También es importante hacer tareas! Ya que nosotros tenemos tareas para la casa cada semana. Cuando mis respuestas son incorrectas, la profesora me ayuda y entonces ya no tengo miedo. En Tandem hay WIFI Internet, cuando no entiendo una nueva palabra busco en mi celular el significado en español y ya estoy lista para continuar. ¡También es importante un diccionario! Mi celular y el diccionario Español-Alemán siempre llevo conmigo a la clase. Ahora empiezo el curso de Alemán A1-2. Nuevas palabras, nueva gramática y nuevos amigos! En Tandem aprendo Alemán con gusto y aprendo también sobre mi nuevo hogar, HAMBURGO.

Unverantwortlich, unprofessionell und frech. Ich hatte mich für das TELC C1 Hochschule Intensivkurs und Prüfung am 6. August 22 angemeldet. Der Kurs sollte am 12. September losgehen. Genau am 08. September (fünf Tage vor Kursanfang) haben Sie per E-Mail der Kurs abgesagt, weil ich die einzige Teilnehmerin bin, die sich für den Kurs angemeldet hat. Ich hatte schon meine Zeit organisiert und geplant, damit ich diesen Kurs teilnehmen kann und finde es extrem unverantwortlich, dass Sie so lange gewartet haben, um mir das zu sagen. Die Antwort am Telefon war: „Das kann aber bei jeder Sprachschule passieren!“, dabei haben Sie mir keine Warnung gegeben, dass so was passieren könnte. Danke für nichts. Leider kann ich jetzt keinen anderen Kurs buchen, weil alle voll sind oder zeitlich nicht passen. Jetzt warte ich, dass Sie mir das Geld zurück überweisen, den ich in vorausbezahlt habe.

Best german school that I have attended and I have been to a few! I have been lucky to have had the best teachers at Tandem: Merve, Petra, Anke just to name a few. I did the intense course last year and it was great, I met people from different countries, the class size was perfect enough for everyone to participate. We had a mix of everything from listening, writing and speaking with fun games to learn vocabulary. I also did here the Telc B1 exam and the organization of it was punctual and everything ran smoothly. They also have class outings where you can meet other people from other classes while visiting hamburg or do fun activities outsides class hours and practice your German. After a 3 months break and since I have learned a lot at this school, I am back to finish B2 in the evening course.

One of the best German language schools in the city in my experience and I've tried a few, before returning to this school. Eventually, I've attended classes here from A1.1 to B2.1 over a period of time. It's probably on the costly side compared to some others but when it comes to quality of classes and the overall learning experience, I would recommend this school anytime. The teachers, the atmosphere, no of students per class, size of the class rooms etc make this a pleasant and interactive experience. The pace of the intensive courses is really intensive and I suggest anyone attending these to have sufficient daily free time for the homework / after school practise, for about 1-2 hrs at least to absorb the class work. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. 2 Wochen Intensiv Kurs wo die Lehrerinnen sich ständig gewechselt haben. Sogar am letzten Tag haben wir neue Lehrerin bekommen. Ich fand die Organisation miserable. Dabei gibt es auch noch eine Lehrerin die, meiner Meinung nach grenzfertig an Rassismus ist. Miserable. It was 2 weeks course and the teachers kept changing. We had 5 Teachers and even at the last day we got a new one. Our level was beginner so we needed really someone who know which level we achieved to continue with us but that was not the case in this institute. I felt like one of the teachers was even racist. I would not recommend it, absolutely not

I highly recommend this academy. I took an intensive course from A1.1 and A2.1 and I am going back for an evening course. The teachers are all professional. I had four teachers and all of them were excellent. The materials are also sufficient and the classes are structured. Each class is comprised of interactive activities, so you rarely just sit down and write things down one hour straight like at other academies. The prices are not the lowest in Hamburg, but I chose this academy because the facilities are better, cleaner and more spacious than the cheapest academy and the admins are nicer and more available.

I was studying at this school during 2 weeks in July and it was amazing! Can’t describe how I liked it. I‘m from Belarus and decided to spend my vacation in Germany. I used to hard work and can’t just relax So my decision to learn German in Germany was the best decision that I‘ve ever made especially at this school. Perfect organization, perfect location, perfect classmates( Brazilian, Azerbaijani, Danish), perfect teachers ( With great love and gratitude to everyone). Hope to return next year❤️

I did an intensive German course at Tandem starting with A2.2 level all the way up to C1. Right after finishing the intensive course, I also took the preparation course for the Telc C1 Hochshule exam which helped me to get ready for the exam and to pass it successfully! Outstanding teachers, highly professional administration staff, great ambiance at school–all this makes Tandem truly the best place to learn the language and I am happy to recommend it!

I had a blast learning German here, the teachers are super attentive and skilled, the groups are relatively small, so everyone gets the teacher's attention. There is also a cultural program every week, you can visit museums, markets and other places of interest and practice your German with other students from different levels. Highly recommend, if you're willing to pay a bit more than you would for VHS for your comfort.

Best German Language School in Hamburg! I have taken from A1 to B1 and all the different Teachers have been so amazing! They care about you and they help you a lot. The classes are very dynamic, not boring at all, they do a lot of games and interactive activities to make the learning experience more fun. I have made also good friends here. My german off course has improved a lot! I fully recommend it!

Terrible Place I went there because I wanted to improve my German and I told them so. I did a placement test (Einstufungstest) and I was told that they can't take me even though I was qualified for the a "higher" German class but they were so quick to desire to take my money for the external exam. Don't go there if you want to learn German it won't help you. My friend had the same experience.

Ohne Vorbereitungskurs hatte ich die B2 - Prüfung „telc“ bestanden. Die Prüfung B2 war sehr leicht und die Prüfung ging ganz reibungslos vonstatten. Endlich. Die Prüfer und Prüferinnen sind sehr zuvorkommend und sehr erquicklich, darüber hinaus hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für ihre Gastfreundlichkeit, und Ihnen wünsche ich alles Gute. I took intensive course for five months here. The courses and the administration were organized very well. Some teachers were working as part timer and some teachers didn't necessarily have academic background as German teacher, even so I was quite satisfied with all teachers in terms of ability to teach German and personality as well.

Wie schwierig ist es eine Prüfung zu bewerten, daran man am ersten und zweiten Oktober teilgenommen hat? Dass es 5-6 Wochen dauern, wurden wir gesagt aber ey Leute, wir sind gerade im Jahre 2022, nicht mehr 2021. Anscheinend haben wir uns total geirrt an dem Prüfungsort. Nie wieder!

I did an intensive course here and it was a pure waste of money. The teachers that I had unfortunately weren't very good and deffinetly not up to date on teaching pedagogy.

Very good place to learn Deutsch, Merve was my teacher for A2.2 she is wonderful. The course fees is little expensive but have full focus on individual learning.

Teachers are friendly and professional. The place in the downtown Hamburg, is easily accessible. It provides Telc and TestDaF.

Die Veranstaltung ist sehr gut organisiert. Die Mitarbeiter sind super sympathisch und hilfreich, laut meiner Erfahrung. :-)
