I am surprised by some of the reviews of bad service. I usually go at least once or twice a month to this location, and have never had an issue with any of the staff, ever, and have gone during the busiest times and quietest times, so this surprises me. I do recall on one occasion where 3 or 4 of the staff were gossiping around the cash/check out and was wondering if they were aware we could hear what they were saying, our booth was right next to it. They were speaking to each other the way they would on a Fri night happy hour--except, you are at work and people can hear you. The food selection is great---I have tried most of the menu (I know, nothing to brag about!! :) but I inevitably get the chicken fingers platter or their burger. Their guacamole is delicious also. I've also never had an issue with any of the food I have ordered. I do suggest for their Sunday brunches that their filter some of the music that BLASTS from there--there are kids around and some of the lyrics I've heard have been a little too much for a Sunday midday stroll, particularly for young kids walking with their parents, just some courtesy. Also the happy hour portions are generous and totally price appropriate. Try the delicious Peachy Lychee drink, a nice little spin --- but get it from Zack, who is super awesome and cool, he will totally will make you feel at home if you are by yourself at the bar, or leave you alone if you aren't in the mood for chit chat-the perfect bartender!

Honestly first time here respectively last time here. Wanted to try something different. They offer a summer menu for $39 which includes an appetizer, main course and dessert. Ask from preselected items. The grilled wings (4) were very good, flavorful and served with blue cheese dressing and spicy bbq sauce. The BBQ ribs were tender but the flavor was just meh. They tasted porky instead if BarBQd.‍♀️ Fries were typical. We also ordered the mahi mahi blackened served with tartar sauce that was just as the menu said house- made. Was not impressed at all with this fish or seasoning. Very lightly blackened with brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were made with honey maple mustard. Yep. That was a complete miss for me. The sauce could have been left off. It left this weird after taste. The dessert was strawberry tres leche. Welp. It was sweet. Glass of prosecco. About 8oz. Okay so there is no hype to give. Local favorite in midtown. Great for sports with several TVs viewable from all seating. Good pub food from HH bites to burgers/sandwiches to entrees. Reasonable prices for the location with good HH specials throughout the night; including night specific specials. Service is decent at the bar (large, spacious, split indoor & out) but can be a little sporadic at times. Depending on the night & sports event (or foot traffic) seems like they should have more bar staff. That being said they recognize the regulars and do a pretty good job at making a pass around the space. (As anywhere in Miami, the better the tip the more attention you're likely to get.)

I really loved the vibe of this place - so bustling and aesthetic and really nice lights everywhere - So I had to get a meal here on my trip to Miami. At least an order for pickup for Barbecue Grilled Chicken Breast with a side of roasted Brussels Sprouts. The order was ready much before the pickup time so I was really happy. The chicken was so so perfect and tender cooked I was shook! Literally really so delicate and I just have no words I even saved some for the next day and it was just as soft! The barbecue sauce had something to it .. I don't know what, but it is a really good one. The Brussels Sprouts were really good! Got a good aroma as soon as I open that box. They had some sauce over there ... I don't know what it was, but it just went really well. They were also roasted perfectly and cooked just right.

Service here is unacceptable disgusting. My group waited an hour to be seated. Once seated we waited another 40 minutes to place orders. The servers (every single one I had to interact with, especially Carly) were very unprofessional. Even Jerry, the bartender, was rude. He charged my card onto someone else’s tab and showed no remorse. Roland, another server, was worst of them all. He made me very uncomfortable when he responded to my questions with a negative tone and disrespectful remarks. Our waitress never showed courtesy, having not checked on us the whole time we were there. Ramon was the only nice server. And then on top of that, there were dogs inside the restaurant causing me to sneeze uncontrollably.

Tap 42 is definitely one of THE places to go for a Sunday Brunch in Miami. With locations in Midtown (my fave), Coral Gables, Boca, Ft Lauderdale and pretty soon Aventura. In the mist of colorful #Wynwood , The DJ keeps everyone dancing from 11am to 3pm, with everything from old school, Latin & latest hits. It truly represents Miami on any Sunday. You better RSVP to this party early on though,there’s only one sitting time on Sundays and it fills pretty fast. Visiting the area stopped by because our initial place we wanted to eat was busy. Plus it was raining. What a pleasant turn of events. Our waitress Jo was amazing. So nice and on point. The food portions are big so come hungry. Typical sports bar with multiple screens showing games. Big bar area. Big booth seating with plenty of space so you don’t feel on top of each other We had the guac to start. It’s a combination of street corn with truffle on top. It was good. I ordered the truffle steak sandwich. I was pretty full already so I literally just ate the steak and fries. The lemonade is delicious.

This is a very nice place overall. I went with 2 more people on Wednesday night before St Valentine’s Day around 7pm. The food was good. We ordered the salmon, a salad, mini burgers apps, green fried plaintains, the lettuce wrap and fried calamari. Everything was very good except the calamari that I found it had too much flour. I really like the ambiance. It’s perfect for big groups. The bathroom is very nice and clean. I believe there’s paid parking in the area. The service wasn’t good. We asked for something and it took a long time. Anything we were asking we had to ask twice or ask another server. Things did changed when we got a new server for the night. Regardless it left a bad experience on me. But I would visit again and give it a chance.

Never a good experience here. Last time I was here the beer came out flat, so I sent it back (after looking for a server for 15 minutes) and asked for a water and a different beer. They never brought either and I was sitting at the outside bar trying to get someone’s attention inside. They never pay attention to the outside!!! Last night I tried to get the hostess to charge my phone and they refused. So rude considering I just spent $100 on food there. I see you charging your iPad right there. It doesn’t hurt to be a little hospitable at a HOSPITALITY restaurant. Terrible service and terrible restaurant.

It's just a regular spot with plain American fare of Burgers. It was a rainy and windy day and we chose the outdoors as inside were only booths which are inconvenient for a work party. The outdoors was so noisy due to this group of people at a table nearby. I had to ask for the manager to go and tell them but they did not care. We were glad when they left after making our life he'll for an hour. We did order our drinks during happy hour but when they brought us the bill they had charged the full price. But the waitress was happy to get it fixed. The calamari was so so. The Guac, corn truffle dip was very good.

This place has a ton of outdoor seating and a nice bar atmosphere. Most of the food we've tried is just fine from here with one exception. The steak sandwich, fish, and appetizers we've gotten here are not that special. But the chicken wings here are insanely good - we come back here just for the wings! I wish I had a picture of the wings because when they arrive at the table they look mouthwatering good. Definitely worth a stop in for some wings and a drink to enjoy the outdoor seating - but the rest of the menu is subpar.

Jodeci was our server, and she was absolutely fantastic! Her energy filled the room! I love how all servers worked together and everything came out quickly and perfect! Most impressive was watching the manager Shameel touch every table. He would try to hit each table twice and was super involved. The chicken wraps were to die for and out steak was perfectly cooked! I highly recommend you hit this place up amy time your in the area! Well done to all the staff!

I've come for a dinner after a long day of hard work. I arrived around 11:30 PM at Tap 42 in Midtown for some fries and BBQ ribs. The experience was really bad for me. (Except for the waiter) The fries were cold, awful. They turned on all the lights in the restaurant and turned off the music even without having my food on the table, I felt like the atmosphere was telling me 'GET OUT OF HERE.' It was completely uncomfortable. I understand the workings of a restaurant (I'm a chef) and this has been very rude on Tap 42's part. I voiced my complaint, and only received some apologies. (It's fine, no big deal) but I felt like I didn't have a prompt solution. Never come back here. Disappointed.

This place is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, the music and the food!!!!!! Oh my goodness the food! Its such a great place to hangout! Beautiful! And i cannot say enough about the service, we were asked at least 7 times how everything was and from three different staff members. Aloe, our waitress was beyond friendly! She was knowledgeable on dishes and drinks and qas constantly ensuring we had everything nedxed to have a great dining experience. This place is a must!!

We came here looking for a pub to feed ourselves and the kids. This place is located right in the middle of Wynwood in a busy section but we were able to get seated quickly. Unfortunately that was the only thing quick about our meal. It took 10min for us to get greeted by the server and then another 10min for drinks. The place was not busy either. The food was good but when we ordered a salad they gave us a side of dressing. Unbeknownst to us there was dressing already on the salad underneath everything so we didn't see it and proceeded to add the side dressing on top of it. Needless to say it ruined the salad. Dont think we'd be coming here again.

I’ve been to several Tap 42 restaurants and this one was by far THE BEST! The entire atmosphere is a VIBE. From the music to the employees. My server was Chance. Chance was very attentive to us- not once did I have to ask for a refill, napkins, etc. When I asked questions on the menu he answered every question without having to ask anyone. He knows the menu by memory. Chance has an amazing attitude and his smile brightens the room. My husband and I were celebrating our 26th anniversary and he made our brunch an amazing experience. This place is awesome! I couldn't believe how delicious the food was. Service is top notch! Our server was super friendly and other servers stopped by our table just to be social, it made a very enjoyable brunch. The DJ was amazing and my husband and I had the best time, and bonus he was also able to watch a football game. We will be back. This is now on our list as a go to spot when in Miami. Kudos!

Tap 42 is our go-to place for burgers in the Miami area. This was my first time at the Miami midtown location. Everything was fabulous and we'll definitely return when we are in the area. One of us had the 3 course lunch special, with a starter of calamari tower, main of drunken goat burger and dessert of tres leches. Wow, they were all fantastic. We shared this one person sized calamari tower and to be honest i was already full afterwards. But of course i found room for the rest of the meal. Service was quick and engaging.

Not sure if it's because the place just opened or that's how it normally is but when we came in last week the service was better than in some 5 star hotels. Bartenders were very attentive and creative, suggesting drinks, explaining everything there is to know about beer and specialty cocktails. Management was also top notch! Came in for a quick drink but ended up staying for dinner and during do to such an amazing service. Let me add the the place was packed at night and that didn't get in the way of all staff going above and beyond

The food is so good. My friends and I was in Miami for the marathon 2 weeks ago and Tap 42 was the first restaurant we hit up when landed. Can I just say the calamari was OF the HOOK! One of the best I had in a very very long time! It’s pair with cabbage salad. “A girl did not share although I offered” lol. I love Calamari one of my favorite appetizers. Well that was my main dish for the night with a side of Brussels sprouts. My friend order salmon bowl and she loved her food as well. Such a great night and excellent food

The service is hands down the best of any Tap42 I have been to... All the bartenders check on each other's customers and feels like a real team effort. The food always tastes fresh and delicious. My girlfriend and I have been here a few times and this is our favorite Tap42 location. Finding parking is a little challenging but not impossible...

Terrible, awful, and uneditable food. The steak truffle sandwich had to be sent back once for being raw, when it came back the plate was hot the sandwich was cooked but cold. The french fries were cold twice..... I wouldn't recommend this place for food to anyone. The best part of the the meal was the sweet potato fries. This chain establishment should be embarrassed. Never ever again.

As for dinner, we (2) ordered the Asian Calamari, Chicken Wings, and Ribs. All incredible. We also tried their happy hour cocktails, my personal favorite was Tito’s Mule. Place was great! Service a little slow but the food was outstanding. Drinks were on point. Try the Frozè or the Frojito. (Frozen cocktails) pictured are the Crispy Calamari tower & the Blackened Mahi Mahi as a part of a "spicy Miami" dinner deal that consisted of choosing an appetizer along with an entrée & desert. Bit pricey but food is definitely delicious.

Amazing place! Beautiful decoration (very original) The atmosphere is great! Very friendly staff. Ideal to hangout with family and friends, have some drinks and enjoy delicious food. The passion fruit mojitos are delicious! If you are going to Midtown, this is a really great choice. Great locations with plenty of shops around the area.

Seriously? The Southern chicken salad looks like this now? Called the place and was transferred to the "Manager" which whom couldn't hear me. Called back and there was no answer at all. Is this how you run a business? Who is back in your kitchen?

I ordered from this location online and got their chopped salad. I also payed an additional $7 for chicken. Not only does the salad arrive way different then expected (90% of the salad is iceberg lettuce which is not an ingredient listed in the salad) I also did not receive any chicken which I payed so much extra for More

We LOVED the Asian Calamari, the sweet potato fries are good and the chicken tenders were yummy as well. Would definitely come back

Great place. Location is ideal and the service was awesome. Easy menu with fair share of selections. Cant go wrong. Outdoor area pet friendly and very spacious with large fans for comfort. Located in the Design District so you may want to dress up either way......the ladies bring out the heat in this area …

The food is great, service is hit or miss but never horrible. Brunch is LIT but they rotate DJs so hopefully you don’t go on a weekend where the DJ don’t care and just presses play

Nice spot, we enjoyed our food and drinks. The service was Mediocre and they brought out one person's steak like ten minutes before they brought everyone else's food. But overall it was pretty decent.

The tall blonde and the bus boy are amazing people! Friendly and generally happy to be there. I mistakenly took the manager for the bus boy who was super friendly. Sorry if I offended someone's. I received top notch service and they need a raise.

I had the southern chicken and waffles, it was really tasty, also enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, and the drinks were amazing reaññy recomend this place, nice atmosphere and they also have really good specials on drinks when theres football games.

Staff was absolutely phenomenal. I forgot the name of the server but she was so lovely. The food was delicious and the beer was great! Super good located and it has calm vibes.

We've only been here once and unfortunately our experience was the the greatest. Service was way too slow and the restaurant was not even busy. Food came with hair (both of our dishes) and check took 25 minutes to arrive. The one appetizer that didn't have hairs in it was good though.

Stopped by Tap42 with my fiancee to grab some drinks. We liked the environment. The restaurant is located in the nice plaza with other restaurants and shopping place. In order to eat here, it's recommended to make reservations. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Nice atmosphere. Food was good. My friends and I chose this place in Midtown Miami to have lunch. We ordered the Blackened Mahi sandwich, the songs, calamari, and guacamole dip. It was all good. Would definitely recommend. The wait wasn’t long and wait staff was accommodating

One of the best Mexican food I have ever had in my life. They have very good portions, very delicious drinks. The only feedback I have is it is very pricey as compared to a general Mexican place.

Great bar with cool atmosphere. We sat in the outdoor bar area. The waiters attended us quickly and were friendly. Ordered the strawberry kush and gin n chronic cocktails which were delish and had a short rib slider and the artichoke dip. All fresh and hot. No complaints.

The atmosphere is such a vibe… the food is great and the drinks are delightful.

I really liked this place restaurant / bar. The food was really good. The waiters and waitresses were very nice for the most part. However I did not like the fact that they automatically add 18% to 20% gratuity to your bill. Therefore I took off a star because of it.

Nice place in the heart of Midtown. Great food, lots of options to choose from and plenty of different drinks as well. The waitress was ok, but not great. The bbq ribs were delicious and the corn avocado appetizer was super tasty. Overall it’s definitely worth a try.

Awesome food. The calamari is awesome. I got 1/2 rack and I did all I could to eat it. Wife got the Salmon. Our server was awesome

I went on Sunday brunch with my son, festive atmosphere if you are a party people. Music was too loud for me. Service ✅: Roland was incredible, very nice and attentive. The grilled wings were DELICIOUS!

Noah our server was attentive and informative. The food was good. My daughter had a burger that was cooked perfectly and her fries were pretty good! I opted for the Mahi Mahi and substituted the crispy artichokes as a side dish and they where outstanding.

Excellent staff. We wanted to watch the Manchester United match and the manager kindly put the match on the screens.

This is a nice and cozy place! I went for lunch but I think it’ll be nicer on evening with the nice terrace. I had the lamb and beef burger and it was delicious, so was the sweet potato fries! They also got nice local beers!

We had Miami spice lunch menu today! food tasted great. Well seasoned fresh and hot. Lovely environment comfortable seating and ambience. I heard there brunch are amazing so I am def coming back to try it out!

Very chic spot in midtown Miami. Has a very New York City feel to it. You can get valet parking, make reservations or walk in to dine in and the trufle street corn guacamole is the best appetizer there!

Nice sport bar to watch Messi bringing the best futbol to Miami!

The best chicken tenders I’ve had in my life. The prices was very reasonable compared to the price. The beer was fantastic, and the Ahi Tuna Poke salad, was magnificent. I recommend this place!

We sat inside and we found the setting hot like if the a/c broke. The food was delicious though. I had the calamari and the strawberry tres leches. I would definitely come back again. More

Tip, if they do t have tables ask to sit at the bar. The fish tostones are delicious and I recommend them. Service is very attentive and they will ask if you need anything regularly.

Nothing to grab home about. Regular bar food with too fancy terms for the product they produce. Wings were dry and the chicken salad had a ton of ranch.

Sunday Brunch at Tap 42. The Tres Leches French toast and steak and eggs was definitely on point. Can't wait to return to try the Chicken and Waffle.
