I've given so many negative Customer Service Surveys about the filthy conditions and gross disorganization of this store. Aside from the escalators constantly being inactive for weeks, shelf tags and produce codes are often incorrect at the registers. I've had to take photos of the displays to show the cashiers at checkout just be charged correctly. This is a nightmare for customers using self-checkout. A good example would be these White Onions, which are clearly marked at $1.29, but rang up at $2.19. I let it go a few times, but last week, I finally spoke to the Customer Service people about it. They just refunded the difference, but no one bothered to update the price in the system. If it weren't for the fact of it being a 10-minute walk from my apartment, I would never shop there.
Watch out! Watch out! Please read the whole experience... Watch out shoppers of these Target's cashiers. The end of year people are busy buying we won't pay attention. My experience last Friday at Target at Flatbush Junction: The cashier was ringing my stuff when suddenly one of his/her cashier's buddies came and lean over the credit cards machine and tap a button near the green button that says ok. I was wondering what he/she did. Then, I had a feeling that said paid with cash instead. I tapped on the same button his buddy tapped while leaning over the credit cards machine. Then, suddenly the little screen said credit card cancelled... I was like uhm, they invented a new tactic to screw people over the holidays. Watch out for Target's cashiers! Better use cash instead of cards.
Ghetto location and employees. No helpful customer service, products are all locked so you have to wait for an attitude from target representative to come get it for you. After you get scolded from receiving your product you’re told that it has to be given to a cashier because “customers can’t be trusted with merchandise”. Self checkout you get stopped and counted for how many items are in your cart. It’s disappointing honestly for the people who live in this area, you won’t see these kind of reforms implemented in more affluent or Caucasian areas. It appears target has lost respect and dignity for the consumers who shop in this specific location.
Placed an order for pickup. Got the email saying it was ready to be picked up. When I got there there were 2 employees behind the pickup counter. Stood in front of them for a good 2 minutes while they talked about their weekend. When one of them finally decided to help me I was informed that she couldn’t find what I ordered. Impossible as I got the email saying it was ready. She said she could give me a gift card. Asked her to instead look for the item that I purchased. She said no. So I got a refund. Employees like this give companies a bad name and then wonder why they got replaced by technology.
Extremely convenient location. Parking lot available but not free. Love the fact it's open late, usually don't get out of work until really late so it's great to have an option to go to where I can get whatever I need for the household, or food, or any pharmaceutical necessities as well. Last visit, got a new Samsung tv at 11pm after I got out of work.
Overall my visit at Target was a good experience, however, I guess due to the festivities, I experienced two hiccup, that was eventually fixed. Generally, I think Target is a nice store, that gives you the opportunity to unwind and pick up major item or little nik-naks along your way.
I ordered something something from one Target for pickup. After the order, they said it was sold out. I did that two more times with other targets in the area. Exactly the same! I think they have lost their credibility in New York. Don't even bother.
Wide variety of items it's like one stop solution for all your needs. Food, clothing, electronics you don't need to shop anywhere else after visiting this amazing establishment. Only thing missing is some amazing Swedish meatballs (joking of course)
This Target is the best! They have everything and the self checkout is faster than Trader Joe’s cashiers. Beer and grocery selection is really good as well.
