This is the PERFECT restaurant to visit when you have a hankering for some GOOD Chinese food! I had such an amazing time at Taste of China from the minute the elevator doors opened, and I saw the decor in entryway. The waiters were very friendly and eager to serve and made sure that we were well taken care of through our evening there. The view of the Nairobi/Parklands skyline from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. The food was absolutely incredible, and it was some of the best Chinese food I have had the pleasure of eating in Nairobi. The portions were also incredibly generous with one main option and side actually being enough for two people. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a date night with your significant other, girlfriends or for a place to come with your larger family to enjoy a meal. It was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely be going back again.

The Best Chinese in Nairobi!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! So many thing so right. Great location, amazing city views, delicious food with great service. Had a great evening at Taste of China. An absolutely amazing meal from start to finish. It definitely exceeded my expectations in every way. Even though when we came in I didn't like the look given to us by the staffs. Because we came in 30mins before their closing hours.. the look was like really you dropping in by this time? Or maybe it was a look of are you sure you can afford us? Lol as we was the only black people in the restaurant But overall service was topnotch serving time was less than 15mins and the food is heavenly!!!!

The dining experience was excellent. The owner came to check up on us and I told him it was my mom's bday (19/10/2023). He made her evening so memorable by suggesting prawn and pork meals, while offering her, on the house, a glass of house wine (yum) and slice of ice cream cake while singing happy birthday. TOC made my mom's bday so beautiful and memorable. Plus the food was a lot and genuine taste of China. THANK YOU!!! You didn't disappoint! :-D

Great spot, service was brilliant, the management is really good, portion sizes are massive so most of us too home a 'doggy bag' of left over food, they can make cocktails upon request which were really well done. All in all it's a fantastic place and I'll definitely be going again. We went in a large group and they handled it well although for was brought out at different times so one end of the table finished eating before the other. A regular portion here is enough for pretty much 2 people so beware when ordering. Also, being on the 6th floor meant there was quite a view over the city.

The cook deserves a 5 star , he exactly knows his job and Job well done . Consistency in taste as always . Efficient staff and helpful. They do have understanding of food . Good new mall with new restaurants at this food court . Try their golden fried prawns and sizzling chicken and all other sea food in the menu, i wish i had more appetite to taste all . Amazing . .:….

Jit provides consistently good food. Fresh and fast. 2 words that normally don't go together in the same sentence. I wanted to try everything based on how good what we ordered was. Try the soups. Awesome. Golden fried prawns. Even 2 large plates would not be enough. The mixed fried rice was a great base for our main courses of chicken, pork and mixed green veggies. Wish I had space left for dessert. Ah well next visit heyyyy....

A well set up restaurant ideal for family outings and couples. So first, YOU HAVE TO BOOK A TABLE. Once you have your desired table, update those guys if you'll be running late as you might find your table occupied. Other than this the food was fantastic except from the prawns! Ordered a large portion but I counted less than ten pieces of prawns. Everything else is in large quantities, all round enjoyable place with kind waiters. Polite warning, people apparently smoke outside (on the benches) so careful where you choose to sit.

This restaurant never disappoints. We have been visiting this place since the previous location and absolutely enjoy the starters and mains. Lemon prawns recommended! Food is flavourful, staff are respectful and love that the owner comes in to check that everything is going as expected.

Their new location is in a good area. As always their food is tasty and very generous. We found the regular portion size to be diffident for all is us. For starters we ordered the pork ribs and honey chilli chicken, both were delicious. Though the honey chilli chicken was more of a main. It tasted better with rice. And for mains we had a veg fried rice, a sizzling beef and a Tsing Hai chicken(which was very spicy). All in all it’s one of the best Chinese in Nairobi and at an affordable price.

Now this is what I was craving - not the gloopy overly sugared nonsense we see in the area. The best Indo-Chinese outside, well…..Indo-China! A fine balance of both in man size portions and what’s more they were delighted to adjust the heat (more) and sugar (less) to suit. The gold standard in Nairobi outside the new authentic joints of recent.

I loved this place. The service was exceptional. Someone kept checking on us a couple of times to make sure we are ok and that was really nice. The food was yummy and the potions were also generous. The ambience was good as the restaurant was not too crowded. The views were fantastic. I can go on and on. I legit loved this restaurant and i would highly recommend.

Great food amazing view however service can be better. We were there last week for dinner, after taking our initial order our server disappeared! I kept waving to any passing staff who simply acknowledged me and then disappeared also! Had to wait another 20 min to place an order for drinks. You guys have an amazing location please work on your service.

Lovely 12th floor balcony seating arrangement. Food was really good, loved the tofu, shrimp and noodles, but I didn't enjoy the hsingtai chicken (I felt like it was not fresh, perhaps a one off) other than that, love the view and a good combination and variety of fresh juices as well as huge list of food to choose from the menu! Manager was friendly!

Nice restaurant. Very noisy though. Must try the Chinese restaurant in kenrail though. It has a nice atmosphere. Quiet. U looking for a quieter place go there. Toc Don't have enough kids items.

Taste of China is probably the best Chinese restaurant in Nairobi, the food is really good and the service too is excellent. The staff are very friendly and professional. I and my wife went there for dinner, I had the kungpao chicken and my wife had fish, the food was tasty and came out pretty quickly. I would recommend anyone to go there.

We loved every bit of it, and will definitely be back for more. I loved that everyone was minding their own business, lots of family cheer, diversity. No colorism which is a plus! Polite and patient staff, and the food? To die for, portions are huge, so the pricing is fair. The washrooms, immaculately clean and fresh. No regrets here.

One of the Best Indo-Chinese food av had in Nairobi. The location is ideal, enough safe parking. The sitting arrangements can be better, I feel slightly too close to one another. Food selection is super - from starters to main course. Good value for money. Average 12$ per person with drinks. Kudos #tasteofchina

The food portions were huge and tasty! Definitely order less than you think you need to start! Waiters were approachable , however, didn’t allow me to drink my drink that I came with in want of more money. Fried rice was nice but a bit dry. Would go again

Delicious Chinese place on 6th floor of building with Nanchang Hotel in Westlands. Nice views from restaurant. Very well designed and nicely decorated restaurant. Staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious and generous portions. Now one of my favorite restaurants in Nairobi.

One of my favorites go to for Indo Chinese. Their staff is friendly and welcoming. It can be a bit busy on the weekends but their service is still reasonably fast. You can be sure to leave with a warm feeling in your stomach. The prices are quite decent for the food offered.

You get great views of Nairobi as you tuck into some delicious Chinese food! Portions are very generous and service is top-notch.
