Be aware they don’t have any kind of proof that their cakes are nut-free!!! NO ingredient at all!!!~ I would say the staff are very nice and buns are ok. But when I call them for the nut-free ingredients that school asked for, the lady who picked up the phone( I believe is the owner) was not nice. She keeps saying nobody asked her before ,she has no ingredient and im the only one who ask for it. Her attitude was very bad, she did not try to solve my problem and keeps telling me that it is my fault, the school fault. I will definitely never go back to this store again. Anybody who is allergy to nuts and any parents are willing to send nuts-free cakes to school to celebrate kids bday party should avoid this store because they have no prove they are nuts free!!!!! The only thing they have is a sticker that anybody can print out. They ruined my kids school party, the kids are very disappointed.

We normally go here for delicious patties. Extra spicy for my partner and veggie for me (which is vegan might I add). They’re always fresh and super satisfying. This location doesn’t normally carry hot sauce packets however. After finding out that they are nut free, we ordered an nut allergy free cake for a birthday. We have a family member with allergies and loves knowing there were no nuts on the premises. It turned out beautifully and the entire family thought it was delicious and not overtly sweet. However, they decorated with fruit and little balloons that were not requested. We ended up decorating ourselves with pieces from home to make it more our style, but still very much enjoyed the cake.

I have been going to this tastee bakery since over 11 years . 2 days ago I went to pickup 12 of their Pattie’s. But the server was reluctant to give me the ready to eat, She said if I took all 12 it will not be fair to other customers. Am I not a customer , but because I was dressed differently and my skin color different that was her attitude. Because of customers like my self she is in business and difference between the customers It is really a shame and insulting. She should be removed from that place. Now I will not go my self and also put on media of this incident. It can happen to anyone

My god, so delicious! A neighbour told me about this place, I checked the website, saw it was closing soon, and ran over to check it out - Had to peel myself away before spending too much, but sampled the beef patties, macarons, sausage bun, tiramisu, and cookies - all super tasty fantastic. The macarons melted in your mouth, and the beef patties had a great spice to them. I look forward to going again, again, and again to try all the other delicious items on display. If you live in the area, don't miss out, it's highly recommended!

I don’t know how I didn’t find this place earlier! It’s a hidden gem! My favourite here is the custard bun. It’s simply satiating, good amount of custard filling that you can get it in every bite till the end. Their Jamaican patties are really good too.

This new place is a 'Nut Free' patisserie with a mixed bakery of Jamaican beef patties, Chinese style buns and French pasties and cakes without the nuts, yet the baker has a wall full of his credential and certification in French Patisserie. The Bailey Cheesecake ($5.31) and a 'Swiss Roll' I tried failed in all sense of the word patisserie. They are too sweet and pricey even compared to the best Patisserie in Richmond Hill and Scarborough. Good luck

Delicious rolls (I tried the sausage, mushroom, and potato ones) and delightfully fresh and light strawberry roll!… I chanced upon the shop driving back from a meeting - and stopped back in on purpose the next day for a full-size strawberry roll cake for my family :)

i highly recommend this place. wasn’t expecting much from a random store in a little plaza but wow. i tried their beef patty and cheese bourekas! everything was either so cheap or reasonably priced. turns out they have other locations so check out if there’s one closer to you! the owner was also super kind and even offered to heat up my pastry! great place that sells savoury treats and sweets!! will be visiting this place more often!!!

A little pricey but amazing and delicious sweets! The people working there were extremely nice and polite, and they were patient with me making up my mind. We really loved the taste. These two rolls came to around $10. They also have some jamaican foods and beef patties available there. I saw they also had iced coffee and regular store drinks available for purchase. They also take custom orders for cakes and sweets.

We love the cakes from this place. The mixed pastry box that you get there is the best. It has 4 flavors, mango, strawberry, lemon tart and Chocolate. It is so amazing. We always get all our cakes from this place..the owner is also a very sweet man who is warm and smiling always. They make the best cakes in the city! A 5 star from us for sure.

Small for a coffe chat. The male owner was nice and friendly. But the yonger lady looks so busy and mine her own in lalal land. Place is cool but chair and table needs a bit wipe down. patties snacks was good, desert looks yum I have not try I end up bought 3 cake, one blue berry cheese cake, one Tiramisu cake and one Bailey cheese cake yum hope is not to sweet.

This has been one of my favourite patty places for years. The staff and owner are extremely friendly (albeit slightly slow), and the food is always fresh and delicious. My go-tos are the spicy beef patties, and I can never resist leaving without getting some pastries and desserts, with the giant chocolate chip cookie being both my favourite due to nostalgia and taste

The lady who helped us was terrible. It was obvious she has an attitude towards Chinese customers. We wanted to try their pineapple buns. When we entered she was very friendly and chatting with the Caucasian in front of us. When it was our turn, her whole attitude changed, spoke to us in a cold and mean tone. It was shocking to experience this at a bakery.

I came back here finally, 5 years later after being away for awhile and the patties were just as delicious as I remembered. The owner, super friendly, and the buns were great too. I excitedly suggested this to my friends who need nut-free goodies since it's all nut-free! Can't wait to go back asap, can't believe I waited so long to go back!

The staff is amazing here. I ordered a customized wedding cake and Jesse (the baker) was very nice to take the time and list out options and prices with me. The cake was amazing and the guests loved it! It wasn't heavy nor dry. I pick up pastries or even beef patties when I'm in the area. Easy to find parking and the shop is very clean.

Great bakery with a selection of sweet and savoury pastries. Definitely a different selection from what you’d find at the other Tastee shops. Here you can get cakes, cookies, macarons, danishes, breads, Asian styled buns (pineapple, coconut, tuna, sausga etc.) and of course Beef Patties (or chicken) in spicy & non-spicy.

Ordered a 6" strawberry shortcake for a friend's birthday. It was $28 total (not too bad for price - cheaper elsewhere, but this is good quality). It was the fluffiest strawberry shortcake I ever had. The cake was fluffy, and the whipped cream was fresh, light and not overly sweet. It was really good. Everyone liked it.

Such a great find for nut free desserts. Tried slices of the cheesecake, tiramisu and strawberry roll and they were all delicious. The person I bought the for with the peanut allergy was thrilled bc they can never find these items free of traces of nuts. Thankful that I found this place!

Been going here for over 20 years - still the best patties in town (Allan's at Peanut Plaza is a close second). Service can't be beat. Their oxtail, although a bit pricey, is very very good. I've never had anything from here that's been less than incredibly good. Great bakery.

Visited on a Sunday, friendly staff and an excellent selection of cakes and buns. I had a savoury slice which was just what I wanted, very tasty. The place has tables and offers coffee and drinks too. Prices were reasonable and the establishment was well maintained and clean.

We have been getting birthday cake(chocolate truffle) for our son for last 3 years and the feedback from our guests is unbelievable. Tastee bakery cakes are simply superb, soft and always fresh. Keep up the great work!

The cashier was friendly and helpful. She suggested the coconut buns and they were soft and yummy, my kiddos enjoyed it. I ordered a vegetable patty and cocobread and she heated it, it was hot, flaky and nice.
