Fair Food Review: Tasty's Chicken and Pizza During my recent visit to Tasty's Chicken and Pizza, I had the opportunity to try a few items from their menu. Here's a fair review of my experience: First, I ordered the BBQ wings. While the wings were cooked well and had a decent amount of meat on them, I found the BBQ flavor to be a bit overpowering for my taste. The sauce had a strong smoky taste that dominated the overall flavor profile. If you're a fan of bold BBQ flavors, you might enjoy them, but they were a bit too intense for my liking. Next, I tried the popcorn chicken. They were your standard fare, nothing particularly unique or outstanding. The chicken pieces were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, but they lacked any distinctive flavor or seasoning. They were decent, but I was hoping for something more exciting or flavorful. On the positive side, the chips (or fries) served at Tasty's were a highlight of my experience. They were freshly made, crispy, and had a delightful texture. The seasoning on the chips was just right, adding a nice touch of flavor without overpowering the natural taste of the potato. I thoroughly enjoyed them and would highly recommend trying them if you visit Tasty's. However, one downside to my visit was the behavior of the person working at the till. They seemed to be in a less than pleasant mood, which affected the overall experience. Customer service is an essential aspect of any dining establishment, and encountering an unfriendly staff member can dampen the dining experience. It would be great if Tasty's could address this issue to ensure a more positive and welcoming atmosphere for their customers. In summary, Tasty's Chicken and Pizza offered a mixed experience for me. While the chips were outstanding and the popcorn chicken was decent but unremarkable, the overpowering BBQ flavor of the wings didn't quite hit the mark. The less-than-friendly staff member at the till was a regrettable aspect of my visit. If you're craving tasty chips, Tasty's is worth a visit, but other menu items may not be as memorable.

This was the worst experience I've ever had as a customer.. anywhere. I don't mind waiting for food.. it's a Saturday night..its expected.. but seeing all the male customer orders being prepped and organised and waiting for 1hr? This needed addressing..I asked him why it was taking so long and why all male customers had been served.. he flipped out and asked if I wanted to cancel the order or leave..that I was not allowed to question him and that I should sit down and shutup! All in Urdu.. because its obviously assumed I should speak his language. I have never been so humiliated and offended. If I had been a man.. there is no way he would have got away with this level of abusive language. I explained that it is not my choice to do the takeaway round but I am widowed and my father has also passed..so no men folk to do the rounds.. but if either of them were alive he would not have got away with how he spoke. He then continued shouting abuse as I left saying in urdu.. I did not kill them..and dont come back to this shop. Wow.. lots more chicken places in Leicester that I'd prefer to spend in.. will never go back. Also having just read the other reviews, I sadly realised that lots of people have found Hassan to be rude..the owner responds with a standard apology but no..Hassan is indispensable. Food was delivered slower than Peter Parker delivering pizza for Mr Aziz in Spiderman 2. Pizza was stone cold, not at all what expected. Will be avoiding this business. They are just not dependable. After over a week of waiting for slow responses from a manager via email who said they would be refunding me, then turned out to not be able to do that after I chased them up (they offered to make things right by doing me a free pizza) - Arranged it all via email, had a bad feeling nothing would come of it, called the restaurant in evening and the person I spoke to seemed very rude and had no idea what I was talking about. I offered to ammend my review to perhaps a more positive one if they were able to deliver and deliver properly cooked and heated food. Let down again. There seems to be a lot of reviews about similar scenarios where even chicken isn't cooked or heated to a temperature more than slightly warm. I have reported them to Leicester City Council

Oh wow! What can I say! I'm a regular customer but for the first time felt the need to write a review since the new management has taken over. The new staff are lovely and ever so polite! The peri peri chicken was absolutely spot on and well marinated! Now this the interesting bit... With the old owners I always had an issue and an after taste with the chips as they were fried in fat/avr60 and it was used over for days and days. Really glad to inform that the new management only uses pure rapseed oil to fry any of the products including the chicken/hot wings/strips and chips! You can clearly taste the difference. Check it out guys! Honestly I'm a genuine customer telling you my honest opinion and feedback about this takeaway. I wish all takeaways start using pure rapseed/sunflower oil. And by the way fat frying oil will be banned by 2021 as I heard. Great news!! Defo coming back more regularly now

Had the worst experience today, after reading the comments it seems to be the same guy that serves at the front of the shop (moustach worker) and takes phone orders very very rude when he speaks to customers. Part way placing the order on the phone he put the phone down when i got to the shop i said he had cut me off but he accused me of being a lier shouted at me in front of customers. For him then to swear a couple of times raising his voice at my husband. Also the total cost of the order he rounded it up and was going to charge me more why when the total was less?? This guy needs to be given the sack he think he knows better but he doesnt

Let's start off with the decor. It's quite clean and has good seating, however, the menu on the walls is too busy. There is too much information scattered around everywhere. Ordered the food (1 cheeseburger, 2 zinger burgers and 1 sizzler burger- all meals ), it took 30 mins to finally come. Burger were pasty and tasteless and chips had a plasticky after taste. Ordered some spicy wings, they took a few mins to come. Wings again were pasty and oily. While waiting, many customers ordered and again were standing around waiting impatiently. At the back the workers talkes loudly about who was going to make tea. Unfortunately we won't be coming here again. If you fancy some chicken, head down the road to Maryland...

The restaurant's employees have displayed rude behavior, including engaging in fights. One employee, who identified himself as Hasan, even threatened to share the owner's contact information, claiming immunity from any consequences. His use of offensive language deeply upset me. On a positive note, I've had positive interactions with Khaja, a courteous nighttime server who used to make my visits enjoyable. Regrettably, due to this recent incident, I've decided not to return to the establishment. The owner ought to consider this a serious matter, as Hasan's conduct makes him unsuitable for representing the shop.

Ate there on Dec 7th 2018. Ordered Mexican chicken in a box, popcorn chicken which was nice however the steak in a box was horrid! Both me and wife tried it and it smelled fleshy so I took it back as this happens to the the best places on the odd occasion but the guys said it smelled fine to them, I said it smells fine it’s the taste and asked him to try it, he said he didn’t like steak so told me how no one else complained. I ordered pop corn chicken which he gave free but he sold me rotten £5 item to compensate with a £2 replacement! Won’t be going back, not only this but last week we had their chicken filet burgers and they were SUPER bland!!

What's happened to their donner burgers? Ordered the meal, It's become a one bite burger now. It's a disgrace as they advertise it as a normal sized burger when in reality it's actually size of a medium 'daal puri' or a large 'gol gappa' which fits on your palm, they need to go back to basics. I know times are hard, but can't drop quality that bad, ripping people off with baby sized buns and with hardly any meat in. And when we challenged this to the guys on the till, what's happened here? The response was 'its a standard regular £1.50 burger thats how they are now'.. ok mate good luck trying to sell these kiddy burgers.

Bought bbq ribs today, every single one of them was burnt so I did not eat any one them, I said I did not want it as a meal and they still got me a meal and charged me extra! This is not the first time the mess up with my order! But because I complain every time I always have hope that the next time they’ll do better but the obvs don’t!. I mean why would you cook food, burn it, then give it to the customer and charge them money. I’m not exaggerating when I say that every single time something has to be wrong with my order. Absolutely disgusting. They literally copy paste the apology to everyone.

Absolutely amazing grilled chicken Guy behind counter always gives 5 star service He deserves a promotion, if not ownership of tastys very hard working and very fast, top lad Amazing food is always top quality I go there a few times a week every other week and will carry on to do so!!

Ordered through delivaroo massive order well over £30 3 pizzas burgers kebab ect delivery driver turned up with a small brown bag i asked where my pizzas were and he said he will go and get them i told him to take the brown bag with him as it would be cold by the time pizzas arrived. Never seen the driver again and the shop did not want to help 1 bit. No explanation to where my food was wasnt interested and put the phone down on me instead of trying to deal with the issue. Had to ring my bank and talk to fraud team to get my monet back

This place has a new burger bar next door (same owners). Look at the pictures. The menu in the background shows a picture of the burger I ordered. You can see what I got. All for the “bargain” price of £6.95. By the time I realised I was 8 miles away and didn’t want to waste the petrol to drive all the way back. If you think this is a fair representation of what they’re advertising then good luck to you. Personally, I believe it’s a rip off. It didn’t even taste all that great either. Certainly not worth what they’re charging.

I ordered from here yesterday for my family. Honestly i have never smelt chiken that smelt like poo. It was so bad we coudnt even keep it in the house for a second we left it outside. We wasted our money and time with this place. I really hope they read this review and i hope they shut down. My family actually drove back to the shop to show the owner how bad the chiken was. He even said he believed us and offered us free chiken lol we told him no way. For a place to serve that poo smelling chiken should be shut down!!!!

Ordered the Mexican Steak fries which were for £7.75 and the Mozzarella sticks for delivery. The Steak 'Fries' barely had any fries and were just piled up by overcooked chewy steak which just caused my teeth to hurt and the portion size is wayy too small and should be around £5. I can get wayy more fries and perfectly cooked meat at a food stand near me which can fill you up for just £6. Even though the mozzarella sticks taste well they are reallyy tiny and you get 4 of them for about £1 per piece which is just absurdd

I used to order from there but I won't be coming back! They are the same owners as Don Carlos and today the waiter served me really bad! He was very unpleasant with me in front of the other customers because I had a problem with my credit card! On top of that my order was £10.45 I paid £11 and he didn't even give me the change! Seems to be some new staff, dont understand english well and missed out sides that was part of the deal clearly written on the board behind them still refused, finally in the end another staff member confirmed he was wrong. I love tasty and often order from here but from quite some time now their services are not the same. I often order rice and they keep cutting out its quantity even when I offer to pay extra morever the rice sent was burnt . Also, they used to send salad with the rice which has also disappeared from the combo. I'm quite sad about this because I'm one of regular customers but this has happened repeatedly in recent times

Tasty for sure. Especially their cheeseburgers that are by far the best cheeseburger in Leicester. Absolutely delicious food only served here, and at an unbelievably reasonable price - so win win. They've also got a tasty new array of dishes. Out of which I've tried the 'Mexican Steak Box' which included tender slices of spicy steak, crispy fries and crunchy salad which made for a Delicious Dinner. 100% Recommend.

Can't believe I have actually had to give this place even 1 star! Just had delivery of the most disgusting food I have ever tasted!! Chicken burger still pink in the middle with all of 5 little strips of lettuce and a gallon of mayo! Fries and onion rings far too greasy could actually squeeze the oil out of them! Awaiting a call from the manager for a full refund! Seriously don't bother ordering from here!

Had the worst experience. Staff is very rude and don’t take action for their mistake. Instead they will argue and shout at women. Will never take my kids there again. Wish I could have done a video of their behaviour but was keeping two young children at that time. Be careful with the person at the counter who takes orders!! Why? It's happened more then twice that we ordered pizza (which he definatly heard and repeated after us) yet due to not having sufficient ingredients he tells them to make another pizza OR the same pizza which we ordered excluding the ingredients which should be on the pizza. Always check your food properly to avoid being conned by them.

Todays customer service was atrocious, we went in to get some dinner we asked for the stop meal compared to any other time it wa a bland and Tasteless . The service is fast and the food quality is as you would expect. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. My main gripe is the lack of hygiene. I'm not sure what processes are in place but from first sight there is definitely room for improvement in terms of general cleanliness. Handling cash then going straight to handle food isnt the wisest of options.

I called the guy his name was “Hassan” I don’t know why he was speaking so rudely. Last time when I order chicken tikka pizza they sent me vegetarian pizza I was just explaining him about last incident and he replied so rudely that Check the menu. There are other few guys who are very polite and kind but Some people need customer dealing skills.

If I could have rated this place any lower I would have done. Placed an order and it was never delivered to me. Phoned up both the driver and the restaurant only to be told that it had been delivered. This isn't true. Trying to get a refund but likely to no avail. Will be sharing this so others don't make the same mistake in ringing these.

never again! The buns were stale and the chicken fillet inside was too chunky, couldn’t even finish the burger, overall presentation was Messy and tasted just as bad as it looked. Horrendous. The southern fried chicken was drier than the Atacama Desert, the batter coating was rock hard and had mostly fallen off or had never stuck to begin with. I'm not exaggerating in saying this was the worst southern fried chicken I've ever been served. Ever. The store was in an awful state, clearly not ready for customers.

Didn’t receive our order after waiting for over a hour with reassurance that “the driver will be with you any minute”. We should have read the reviews before we ordered, there’s definitely something dodgy going on as half of the reviews on Just Eat all complain that their order never arrived. Don’t order from here.

This place came in Leicester Mercury as having a 1 star food hygiene rating and since then they've been trying to improve it by renovating as they were forced to by the authorities but if you check the food standards agency website the hygiene rating is still only a 2. Wouldn't trust to eat there. It's filthy.

A no frills reliable place to eat. You're not going to get world class service or food but what you will get is consistency. This place always has decent chicken and the prices are really good especially as everywhere else seems to think they're a Michelin star restaurant.

Dont leave reviews often, but this place has literally made me so poorly. Got a chicken burger and pizza last night which didn't taste that nice, but I was starving, so ate it. I've now woke up with a bad stomach. I'd personally avoid if you're looking to eat here!

I ordered the Mexican lamb doner and a sizzla box last night and was highly disappointed. The delivery was slow. I couldn’t finish the lamb doner it was cold and disgusting! Very tasteless chicken wings too. On top of that I’ve had stomach cramps all morning.

I've almost had 2 strip burgers from the 3 I brought. They both had chicken bones in them as you can see from my pics. This was my first visit and am absolutely surprised about the quality of the food. I don't know if I should have the 3rd strip burger.

Classic quick takeaway place. Loved the box of 12 spicy chicken. Can't you wrong with these kinda places. Perfect for a quick cheap meal. Might not be the highest quality of food and care but can't complain since everything is very cheap

Good food & friendly staff but since 1st lockdown the prices of everything on the menu has gotten expensive & have stopped going there because everything has gotten really expensive now that's why stopped going & only given 1 star

Absolutely horrible customer service and shop is filthy. Portion sizes are pitiful and workers don't care for customers. Needs to be shut down by the council. Is well overdue a health and safety inspection. 0 stars. Avoid.

Used to get grill peri peri chicken wings but last evening they were not properly grilled. No taste. Won't be using this takeaway in future

You see the bad reviews... why is nothing being done about it. All I see is sorry in the comments, but people that keep complaining. Goodluck with your business... if you carry on as you are wont be there much longer.

The worst customer service of all time, I had a diarrhea for three days continuously because the cheace burger was uncooked properly And i think that burger was expired meat I hope the council will immediately do

First time ordering from here the chicken was too spicy wasn’t delicious at all wasn’t tasty too . The chips wasn’t cooked properly they were pale not well done like golden brown .

Chicken pcs were fine but burger tasted like it was microwaved, it was hard. Strips were nice too. Drinks were chilled unlike some other places. A bit too pricey if you ask me but half decent food.

Collection of food is very good, Taste is very good, Staff of outlet is very gentle and kind. Store opens up to midnight this is great benefit. Only one cons is price is high comparison to others.

one of the best to have a good brunch with your friends and staff is excellent the person on the counter is one of the top notch person.

Cold food and no sauce tubs. Placed 5 time mentioned all times and still no sauce tubs. Paid 7 pounds for a meal and can't give sauce tubs and to add to that stone cold fries !

Reasonable prices. Went there with my little ones and they really enjoyed it. It has chairs to sit in too.
