There is no step-free access at this station and the nearest step-free station would be Blackfriars, Embankment or Westminster stations. Worth noting is that whenever there is a strike or TFL staffing issue, this is the station that tends get closed first in order to prioritise the staffing of other stations; it makes sense since there are no connecting lines here but I advice that on weekends, especially, to check the TFL app if this station is open.

People talking about the station being shut is flagrantly untrue! It is open just as much as any other station and it’s beautiful inside! Outside it’s something out of a spy film and it’s the location of a few rumours to do with spies and that sort. Great place to jump onto the district line from a nice view point in the Thames. Very Nice Italian deli located within it. The few staff it has seem to be on constant alert and not the best.

I do really like the Temple Station as it brings you to a special place in London. Firstly there is the River Thames or you can go up and see our legal heritage/history which is fascinating. The staff keep this station in lovely condition and Transport for London are lucky to have such conscientious staff

Your standard underground station, has everything you'd expect really. Just a few places to note nearby, Covent Garden being the main one, King's College London, The Courtauld Gallery etc. Getting here via public transport, Covent Garden (Piccadilly) or any of the dotted bus stops close by. Not bad.

A cute little station that serves its purpose on the district and circle lines. Provides a good connection to the river and nearby Strand, with the Australian commission within close proximity. There are no toilets within the station and the closest ones cost 50p.

Station just randomly closes because they have no staff. Then get staff to manage the station! Some of us want to get home of an evening. Second day into a new job and already they decide to shut the station which threw my journey out unnecessarily by 30 minutes!

No step free access available here however there aren't too many steps to cover as the Tube isn't very deep around this level level. The station is OK for the most part. It's a stones throw away from the Thames and a nice park.

If I am ever under Temple and I want to come up into the outside bit I always use the underground station for its sheer convenience. Brilliant. I wish some of those Victorian engineers were still around in modern times.

This tube station holds a special place in my heart as it is the first place I met my now boyfriend. It is also centrally located to the Strand and Kings College London. There is a bar called Walkabout nearby.

I went to this station one day and was ecstatic to find out that i could travel in two separate directions. This news filled me with such joy that i screamed until a passing leprechaun told me to stop.

Always closed and not near to any tube line in particular. I gave it two stars as it's still better than Bank. Could be turned into a Pret as the closest Pret to here is some 50 metres away.

A normal old style underground station which is served by the Circle and District lines. There is no disabled access only stairs staff available in the ticket hall area for assistance.

Very quintessential British station. Lovely food vendors outside :) also being close to the river gives it a fun feel. Check out the little terrace just above it.

Basic underground station near the theatre area. On the circle and district line, so can move to several main line stations.

Small and cozy old Victorian station. There is café next to it and river Thames. Nice views from its terrace above.

Great Latin restaurant and bar, good tapas food, Latin music all night long and very good atmosphere, for all ages

A fairly quiet station to get off at. Only problem is sometimes they close it, if staff not available.

THIS STATION HAS NOT BEEN IN USE SINCE 1994. I don't know why people give this station bad reviews.

This station needs an upgrade, everything around it is being refurbished. Nice roof terrace.
