"If you have a car, it's easy to park here"
the guy who claims to be the owner started cursing because ai parked in his parking lot. I was thinking to go buy something and the moment he saw me he started yelling that this parking is only for my customers yet i was thinking of going to his store. Worst store I've ever seen extremely rude. would never visit to this store again.
Store owner chased us off the parking lot and threatened to call the cops before I could even enter the store because he saw my partner headed to a store across the street while I was still getting out of the car and had planned to grab a few things in the market. If I could give -5 stars, I would. Terrible people.
Prices are above average, limited number of customer parking by the door. Rude and unfriendly owner tends to give you an suspicious glare as if you were trying to rip her off! Will definitely not return!! Cashier refuse to accept nickel that was circulating; disabling the purchase!?! …
This is a neighborhood Chinese market selling canned goods to fresh vegetables. Chinese newspapers is cheaper here than buying at gas station up the street. Vegetables are OK quality. Parking is available but with a limited parking spaces. Street parking is also available.
If you have a car, it's easy to park here. They had green apples which I couldn't find in any of the grocery shops nearby. Minimum of $5 for debit card. Competitive prices compared to other places around here and some $1 dollar deals for not so fresh produce
A man who turned out to be one of the store’s staff was lurking by the corner of the store parking lot. You can sense his eyes following you everywhere you go. After coming out of the store without purchasing anything, he came over and said
Yesterday was the first time there, parked my car and started to check the products. When I saw the quality of products (poor quality, expired product and poor customer service), I decided not to buy anything and just left. The owner (as he
This place deserves a negative star. They are more concerned about their parking lot than their actual store. If you park there the staff will stalk you and follow you like a predator to make sure that you go to their store. THEN proceed to
rude staff, DO NOT EVER GO THERE. Scary man chasing after you and started yelling bitxh or fxck...etc. really felt threatened by the crazy old Asian man. All the anger came from us parking in front of his market and he thought we were going
I like picking up certain things from Teng's market because of the reasonable prices they charge. I like the Watson frozen duck breast at $7.99. It is a pack of 2. If you've been to Bubble Waffle and ordered their peppered duck entree then
Vegetables are mediocre quality/price and other stuff in the store can be bought for cheaper at other stores. Staff are rude and cleanliness is just not there. Would have given 2 stars, but the horribly rude staff made them deserve 1 star.
Don’t EVER shop here. The two women who are the main cashiers are RACIST. There is an older Chinese lady that is super nice that is a cashier but the other ones are so RUDE and so RACIST. Gave me a dirty look too when I told her to have a
Popular local grocery market. Continuous radio advertising have its good marketing effect on business. Always busy and parking usually not a problem. You can find fresh vegetables and fruits displayed at the entrance which give you a good
Don’t park into his parking lot by any chance, if u don’t want to enter his market. Even if u just drop off a person in a non busy period like 2pm for spending about no more 3 mins. Lol (there is still a lot of empty parking space) if the
Cheap vegetables and mostly Chinese supplies. Lots of good looking fruits and vegetables. Just have to check before buying as some might not be as fresh. The prices are good and the cluttered feel reminds me of Asian grocers back in South
Shopped in the store, but didnt have what I needed. Went next door to drag a quick coffee to go. Lunatic working there followed me down the block and into the coffee place demanding I move my car from their lot. Harassed me made a scene.
I wanted to say to those customers who thought that the cashiers are racist, they are not. Im Chinese and they treat me equally like dirt, so dont feel too bad . Management is running out of steam. Product selection and quality can't
I went into the store with my child today. We did not buy anything. When we left the store, a middle aged male employee made threats toward us; he said that we could not park if we did not purchase. He took a picture of us and our car. I
Range and quality of produce and meats is good, but watch out for the occasional overripe fruits. Bread is cheap and basic. Service is hit-and-miss: either helpful or surly. Parking lot at weekday late-afternoons or weekends is crazy. If
Do not recommend this place. Parked there man comes out and was extremely rude asking me to move. He started getting really close to me I felt threatened so stepped out of the car the man runs screaming saying I am trying to hit him. The
Just tried to go buy produce at Teng’s as I have for many years, but first I ran into the Ukrainian bakery next door. My husband and kids were waiting in our car for me in the Teng parking lot. Two male Teng staff came out and were very
OMG, I was yelled at by an old asian man (owner?) in front of the store because he somehow imagined I parked without an intention to buy. BTW, my car was the only car parked there lol. Instead of barking at customers the guy should have
Full disclosure, I'm not rating this market against Wholefoods or even 88 Market (which is a much bigger ethnic grocer), but rather against other similarly independent and small ethnic grocers and food markets. For a local, independent
Do you enjoy getting yelled at by the elderly shop owner? Do you enjoy cramped isles will poorly denoted pricing? If so, this is the spot for you! For everyone else, T&T is five minutes away, and you actually get a shopping experience
If they don't want people parking there. Just ask for any recipient have been purchased at their store and allows 5 minutes park. That's will make people happy visit ur store again. Not chasing people out.
The quality of produce is very poor, several vegetables were going bad. The prices of shelf products are also more expensive than TNT! The only thing I could meekly buy was cilantro.
Love their vegetable, fresh and good quality, many choices and good price. Recommend their brown extra brown egg, very large and good price, but you need to wash them again at home.
Stay away from this store. The employees are obsessed with their parking lot and will start yelling at you if you don’t end up buying anything from their store. This place is a joke!
Extremely rude staff. Parked on the parking lot nearby and a guy who claims to be the owner started yelling at me (small kids inside the car) cursing and middle finger.
The staff was very rude and not helpful. They were nice to the other Asian customers but treated us bad because we were Latinos. A racist grocery store.
Look up Kevin or Nathan for tips on what's good to buy for the day. Their Black watermelon this summer has been the sweetest we've had in a long time!
Worst Chinese confectionery in whole Vancouver. The owner is literally a piece of sh*t. Merchandise were expired and behaviour was utterly pathetic.
Everyday discounted products post on radio, easy parking lot provided, neighborhood sales for people living by, convenience store for me as well!
They have food other grocery stores like T&T, and WALMART doesn't have, even Loblaws, very uniqu&special, some globally imported local goods.
Just bought one of their pre-packed watermelon boxes and it was all molded. I would never ever go to this place again for shopping.
They have a rat problem. Noticed a few products chewed up on the edges. Rat smell. Be careful on what you pick up.
Rude staff. Yelling at me over lottle questions about unclear pricing on fruit displayed outside of the shop
Quite a big variety of goods to choose , not bad pricing .Of course there should be some negatives as well
Rude staff. Not a pleasant place to buy your groceries. Go elsewhere.
It's ok... cheap and decent produce.
