I have waited long enough to write this review but I’m going to get it out there now. I was a patient here for at least the last 15 years. When I started coming here I already had a chipped tooth from an accident as a teenager anyways it was bonded and not noticeable as it had been this way for many many years.Yes it had to be redone maybe every 7-8 years or so but again it wasn’t noticeable. I’m not saying my teeth are perfect by no means because I was a smoker for many years and should of took better care of them than what I did but I have always had a beautiful smile long story short for years and years they have tried to talk me into getting it crowned. I always pushed it off because why fix it if it ain’t broke but they convinced me to get the crown of course being a patient the last 15 years I would assume they know best but this is what happens when you assume.Big mistake huge mistake. My smile has not been the same since. The crown looks absolutely terrible it doesn’t match my other teeth at all it’s longer and completely sticks out. I am completely embarrassed and very self conscious. I have tried reaching out to this dentist multiple times to explain to them how I feel about it with not one response back. You call the office it just rings and rings don’t matter what time you call. I have sent a long detailed email explaining how I was unhappy and nothing at all. I’m assuming that since they MAKE you sign a paper stating you’re happy after looking at a tooth in a little dark room for 5 minutes thats how they rip unhappy customers off . Unfortunately you don’t really get to see what you end up with until you’re out in the bright light smiling. The tooth isn’t translucent and is very noticeable it has completely ruined my once beautiful smile.I have since started seeing a new dentist that was in complete shock that they would ever let me walk out of there like this. I now have to pay out of my pocket twice to correct a mistake I was never really wanted to do in the first place but was convinced this was the better opinion. This was by far the worst mistake I have ever made.Please be careful going here as my experience wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. Oh and this was after the dentist I have been seeing over the last 15 years retired or left so it was after the switch. Beware of that. I have attached a few photos of my smile so you can see for yourself. The first one is before and the second one is with the crown that would look so much better. Please tell me I’m wrong. Terrible service. I don’t even want to give them the 1 star it’s making me give.

I have the worst phobia of dentist office ever and absolutely hate even thinking about a dentist visit. That being said I was thinking the worst right off the bat. I let them know right away that I get anxiety and do not like people messing with my teeth and was worried about them being rough. They assured me it would be okay and they would do their best. I ended up needing a root canal and crown.my first thoughts were hell no I don't want more pain and I was not happy and my anxiety was through the roof. They let me know the price and we got a dental and payment plan and assured me they would take care of me . They were Very good prices by the way and I was able to have them divided out over number of appointments needed. I went ahead with the root canal and crown and was surprised how gentle and comfortable dr Welch and his team made me feel during the procedure . It was done in no time and I had very little discomfort my teeth hurt worst on a cleaning at another office then during this procedure. The crown itself looks great and you can't tell which tooth has the cap. Since my visit months ago I've seen their office twice. And both visits went great and I can honestly say I won't be going to anyone else. I've been seen in both the Muncie office and the 10th street location. If you have a phobia of the dentist or just want a gentle knowledgeable team I would highly suggest giving them a call. You can get in most times within a couple days and they take time listen to your issues and get a plan that works for you. I wish I would've given them a try years ago!

I called the Muncie location to have my 10 year old daughter looked at for constant canker sores. She was seen right away and advised to have laser treatment done to reduce pain and speed up healing time. We went to the Indy location the next day. Dr. Welch took about 15 minutes with her to treat that particular canker sore. He talked to HER to let her know what to expect. He told her what she needed to do to help try to reduce them. He was wonderful with her. She was nervous about going the first time due to not knowing what to expect. But the second time she needed it done, she was good to go. She didn’t even need me to go back with her. Dr. Welch was amazing with her. I’ve not ever had any doctor make any of my kids feel so at peace. Usually, they treat them then talk with me as if they are not even there listening. I really loved the way they run their office. Melissa and all of the other staff are wonderful. Very sweet and friendly. My daughter does see a different dentist for regular dental exams that I am satisfied with but I am looking to changing over my own care. Not sure how all the bad reviews have come to be because I have nothing but great things to say. Thank you Dr. Welch and staff. We really appreciate you

Being new to Indianapolis, I've only had two dentists my whole life. When I called Tenth St Dental the woman seemed a little rude. After applying as a new patient the next available opening was over 2 weeks away. The wait seemed worth it. I arrived at the office about 12 minutes before 1 and the doors were locked. There was no sign signifying lunch and people were visible inside. They did not come let me in or say to wait for lunch to be over. I began waiting in the car until 1 when a man and his daughter walked up. A woman let them in right away! It turns out that I missed their call the day before saying they needed me to confirm the appointment that day or they would no longer hold my spot. So I waited two weeks to not be let inside at the time of my appointment just to find out I can't be seen anyway. In their parking lot I called another dentist WITH GOOD REVIEWS and got an appointment for the next week easy-peasy. At least I kbow the appointment will go better!

I had to reschedule my 6 month dental cleaning and the CSR's were very patient and helpful. Today, I arrived ~3 minutes prior to my appt and there were already several other people waiting. They were again very friendly, took my insurance card, and I was sitting for no more than 2 minutes in the waiting room. My cleaning, scaling, polishing went well and the dental hygienist was very knowledgeable. After she was done the dentist checked my teeth and I was good to go. My only query is the soap opera playing on the waiting room TV since that is definitely not my cup of tea. However, news channels can be so polarizing so I understand not having those on. I already have my appt scheduled in 6 months. The entrance is handicap accessible. The walk back to the dental suites is a little tight though, so a very large wheelchair should navigate cautiously. I don't know if any of the dental chairs are movable however, I imagine they would be willing to accommodate anyone.

I am very thankfully that I found Dr. Welsh and his practice. I had all my teeth pulled in one sitting and They went beyond to make me comfortable. Im not the best patient. I have had a SEVERE fear of the dentist since I was young. Bad experience. And I found tenth st. Dental and probably had 5 different visits before committing and get my teeth taken out. For me personally it was a bad experience because of my fear and apprehension from the past bad experience nothing to do with this dentist. Without Dr. Welsh and the wonderful Lady's that make up his staff I would have never felt comfortable enough to go through with the procedure.i am feeling sooooooooomuch better that I did get it done and I have just a better outllok on life because im no longer in pain. THANK YOU DR. WELSH. you have improved my health and happiness %100.

Terrible experience with this office!! Every single appointment that I've made, they have screwed up! After the third and final appointment today, I'm done with them!! I checked it for a 9am appointment today, and by 9:30 a.m. they had completely forgotten about me, I went back up to the desk, and she said that she didn't even have me on the schedule for today! I don't understand how the woman couldn't have seen that when I checked in and let me know then!! My husband and I had made simultaneous appointments today because we have stuff to get done. We double checked to make sure that we could get in at the same time. He got in, and they just left me out there waiting for an appointment they didn't even have me down for!! The administrative staff here is completely incompetent!!

Was quite disappointed here. The dental hygienist did not put a lead vest on me before performing x-rays which is against regulations. Hygienist also had someone else hit the x-ray button in the hallway while she stood in the room, which is also against regulations because it exposes her to x-ray radiation. Spouse had fillings performed here, the dentist was in a rush to drill and was not compassionate. When the clock struck 5PM the dentist just disappeared (had somewhere else to be?) and the hygienist finished the fillings which is again - against regulations. Spouse was told she had an additional 4 cavities that needed filling. Got a second opinion from a great Dentist in Fishers and learned that she did not have cavities! Unbelievable!! Will not return.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. They don’t deserve 1star. The dentist is a bully who forced me to accept substandard dentures! They very rarely answer the phones. When you leave a message it is never returned. The only time you hear from them is when they want paid. They lied straight to my face. Said my dentures wouldn’t look like the wax ones. They lied! They looked fake and buck toothed. There is a gap in one place and a crooked tooth in another place. The plate is so thin you can see through it. Now he’s selling this office and opening another one where a exceptional dentist had his practice. Beware go elsewhere. He’s a horrible dentist and a bully!

This place is a scam they are taking people money. Terrell Harris I was there, how cloud I forget the way yall mad me feel and you told her not to see me after I took the day off for the 2nd time to get there then you tell me last minute I have to pay $1300 for a deep cleaning after I told here to reschedule me for a cleaning my insurance would cover. All these bad reviews catching up, ain't they. You do good, good will come you do bad, bad will eventually catch up with you. Oh, don't even bother to respond and put all my personal business on here. Per hippa regulations. Save it, I will never return and make sure my community knows what type of business you run.

I went had ten teeth out week ago all around my mouth I was never in such pain I went back gave me five more pain pills.stiches did last five days I can eat so much pain. I ask when I was there to dentist I wanted implant on my bottom teeth I had to many people their bottoms are not right he didn't listen I ask him why he has to shave my bottom bone he plans on doing day I get my molds I did not get the answers I wanted to here they all ready charged Medicaid and Medicare I don't even have in my mouth I'm not happy with this place and plan on second opinion

Years ago this used to be good but over past several years it’s really gone downhill! Last time I went I was treated horribly by gal w blonde hair! I had several X-rays done at which point was told I had more cavities than I actually had. Third time I tried to discuss my TMJ problems- which no one in office could even sympathize with let alone work with. Last Vist I left super mad and now have a new dentist now who confirmed I do NOT have the cavities that this place said I have! Beware!!

I gave it one star because the dental hygienist was very good with my 18 year old son. She told him everything looked good. Then the dentist came in, took a quick look and said that he had 5 cavities. I took him to another dentist, lo and behold, he had none. I smell insurance fraud. Nobody showed me my son's X-rays and I never met the dentist who claimed he had 5 cavities. You are welcomed to call East Side Dental on Washington for my son's results on his dental exam.

I would highly recommend 10th street dental to anyone who is looking for a truly Professional compassionate friendly practice. I did my extern here and I fell in love with this office as soon as I got there. They are very good with patients ,they treat you as if they were you own family, and most of all you will leave happy with the work that has been done. Dr.Welch has a GREAT team behind him. I Thank you all for making me feel comfortable. This is a place I highly recommended alot of people to come. I promise you will leave out with a smile on your face. : )

This is the best dental place I have been to in 5 years they are fast clean Profesional and kind. The assistan Kay was kind and super Profesional she was fast and very skilled normally flossing hurts my mouth but Kay was fast and gentle. As for the doctor Dr. Rodgers he was kind as well. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and he was extremely fast and kind 10 out of 10 I will be back in 6 months

Dr Rogers DDS is one of thee best dentists I’ve ever had and that says a lot!! Im 60 yrs old and have been going to dentists since I was five yrs old!! He had my two lower teeth pulled before I even realized he had them out. Prior to that, he fixed a broken front tooth in my upper denture on the fly one Friday at 3:30 pm. I had a virtual interview and it was detrimental.

I drive from Columbus to go here.They are the most friendly,caring compassionate people I have ever experienced at at a Dentist.I went there to get new dentures when I was dissatisfied with the dentist I was going to in Columbus.They have went out of there way to make sure I'm happy. I went there for dentures, and they were perfect! In fact, I am waiting for my insurance to go through, so I can get the exact same dentures. That was my third pair from other dentists. They are fun, and do all they can to help. The bad posts on here must be from this planet called " I'm perfect and nothing is good enough for me" ...smh...

He wanted to change all my fillings into CROWNS, about seven. On the last two he didn’t even clean off the tooth, you know that stench that underneath your temporary crown, and just glued the new one on. When I complained about it he said that he did not want to see me as a patient anymore. Does this sound like a good dentist to you ?

Ive been comin here for nearly 15yrs ive had many Dentist work on my teeth over the years but now Kay and Dr Rogers are currently workin here they are by far my favorite they have taken great care of me and are very nice and kind and funny I wouldnt go to any other dentist besides 10th street dental they are the best

I absolutely love this place! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and whatever you need will be provided. I felt like an actual person when I went and not a patient. My fears of going to the dentist were put to a stop after my first visit. There's nothing better than getting a wisdom tooth pulled with no pain.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Dr. Rogers and staff provided an excellent experience. Dr. Rogers was quick but thorough, spending time to answer all my questions. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I felt at ease and well taken care of the whole time. Thanks so much!! I look forward to going again in the future.

Pleasant efficient staff. They found everything I suspected that needed attention. They had the information from my insurance company to help me make decision on my dental plan. The big test comes when I start getting the actual work done. I feel pretty confident with this dentist.

Terrible place customer service because they gave me a printed out paper what was price and the work was going to be done after they pulled all my teeth out to prepare for my full set of dentures they told me the dentist double my price and left me with no teeth

My experience at Tenth Street Family Dental was nothing less than perfect! The wait time was short and the office was very clean and well kept. Dr. D and Kay were very friendly, professional, and informative! I’ll definitely be returning for my next cleaning!

This was my first visit. I had a molar with a filling crack and the tooth was fractured and the filling came out. I called the office and they got me in the following day. Dr. Rogers and Toodie worked with me and made sure I was informed

They were so patient with my daughter getting her teeth pulled. She is scared of the dentist and they made it so nice and easy for her. My daughter even laughed when it was all done. They are great here and we will continue to come back.

Tenth St Dental is a complete joke. They hardly answer the phone, and when they do they’re usually pretty rude. Overall terrible service, use another provider if you want things done in a timely manner.

Staff was kind, efficient, and professional. Dr Don was an amazing dentist and was very easy to talk to. I highly recommend this dentistry if you want an easy, straightforward, and effective experience.
