I am absolutely grateful to the pharmacists and staff at this pharmacy. I called 15 chemists in the space of 3 days. One pharmacy ordered in the WRONG item and then told me the correct item was out of stock. I need the prescription to be filled over the weekend and they didn't care, even though I had told them exactly what I wanted. All they said was sorry. Anyway, i rang around and every single pharmacy had it out of stock. Then I called Macquarie Street pharmacy and they WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME. They called a different supplier, they gave me a great price and they ordered it in for me and the product will arrive before the weekend. I am absolutely grateful to the staff at Macquarie Street pharmacy for going out of their way to help me. They called the supplier immediately for me and GAVE ME THE CORRECT INFO AND A GREAT PRICE. Believe me when I tell you that I called about a million pharmacies and Macquarie Street pharmacy was the only pharmacy prepared to go above and beyond for their clientele. I never write reviews as I am never blown away with the service, but these guys deserve every single positive feedback given to them. They are brilliant. Thank you SO MUCH Ruthanne and team! You are life savers, professional, courteous and ABOVE all, exceptionally helpful. I will never go to another pharmacy again. You have won over my patronage. Thank you VERY MUCH!

Absolutely terrible service. Totally disingenuous staff including owner. Tien and Ruthanne take a bow. Worst ever experience. 1) I am doing chemotherapy for leukaemia. Despite having a letter from head of haematology requesting “ fluadQuad “ for my flu shot. Ruthanne refused. I was advised, she studied for 7 years and did not want to lose her license. She said you are not going to make me lose my license… Luckily the next TerryWhite Chemmart I went to supplied the FluadQuad. When asked, they advised me no problems in giving me that flu shot. 2) my son requested to receive the novavax as his booster shot. Tien refused. I advised Tien that the government have just approved Novavax as a winter booster. She looked it up but said that “ she cannot see how to enter it. If I can not tick all the box’s, I cannot supply it. “ She would not supply it, if they don’t get funded she will not supply it. Do not go to this pharmacy. It’s all about ticking boxes that helps them get money. Think about people that are trying to attend their health needs rather your money boxes. I will not ever return.

In March I moved into an apartment further down Macquarie St, when the scale of the COVID-19 pandemic was becoming apparent. I’d also just been diagnosed with a complex disease, on top of an existing disease for which I needed hard-to-source medication. RuthAnn and Tien were exceptional in listening to my situation, tracking down a supplier, and being so empathic. They are not only knowledgeable about mainstream pharmaceuticals but also functional medicines and advised me well on which would be most effective. I totally trust their advice: no sales pitch at all. After five months I am now moving to another suburb, out of town, but I will call by to get my prescriptions filled when I’m in town because I have never experienced such warmth, expertise and helpfulness from a pharmacy before. They are a treasure in these times.

Ruthanne and her team are simply amazing. Ruthanne is extremely knowledgeable in her field from prescription drugs, all other pharmaceuticals through to all the products the pharmacy stocks. She takes the time to carefully explain when and under what circumstances you should take them, possible side effects to look out for and how you should react if you get them. Her staff do the same. Ruthanne and her team demonstrate in spades that they really care for their customers and their well being. The team are often hectic but always have time for you. What a find they are in today’s world.

I cannot rate this place highly enough. AMAZING. They provided excellent advice, helped problem-solve a difficult issue (I was on a work trip and the urgent medication I was prescribed wasn't available in Sydney) and even offered to ring my doctor. Because of their help I was able to get an equivalent medication. They bent over backwards for me, even giving me a place to lie down after taking the medication. They were so kind to me in what was a stressful situation. Ruthanne, you and your team went above and beyond, you are an absolute angel. Thank you!!!

Even though I have a pharmacy closer to my home, I always go to Macquarie Street Pharmacy. Why? Because of the wonderfully helpful and genuinely friendly staff who always have time to talk. Last time, the approachable pharmacist took time to explain my medication to me and while I waited for my script to be filled, I was delighted to see a great selection of make up and earrings I could also buy. Don't walk past this hidden treasure of expertise and friendliness!

Best service I've experienced from a pharmacy. I went to buy my medication yesterday, while at the same time feeling unwell. The pharmacist herself, Ruthanne was extremely accommodating ans helpful. She even gave me tips how to stay healthy and boost my immune system. She was very friendly and was genuinely concerned about how I was feeling yesterday. She treats all customers with respect and greets them with a beautiful smile.

The staff here are incredibly professional, and very friendly. Ruthanne was knowledgable and thorough, and her customer service is one of the best I have ever had at any pharmacy. This pharmacy is amazing. After searching for a solution to my breastfeeding problem (inability to have letdowns due to being induced) I was able to obtain oxytocin nasal spray here which worked like magic. I work at a hotel and sent one of my guests from the hotel to your pharmacy who was looking for special compression socks. gave them a phone call and sent the guest there. I had my first COVID jab here today, and had an amazing experience. I have always had a lot of anxiety about getting injections, but the pharmacists here were so accomodating and made me feel so comfortable. I will definitely be coming back for my second jab, and can recommend it to anyone looking to be vaccinated.

Pharmacist (I believe her name is Ruth) is extremely knowledgable and helpful, gave me great advice and a product that worked perfectly to fix the problem I had. Staff are always friendly and go out of their way to ensure our workplace also is delivered scripts when needed and that customers are taken care of.
