This what I experienced in this store was a pure nightmare. They have a broken self checkout machine in there which does not give receipt. ( For at least a month now) I ofcourse scanned all my products and paid but when I came to the gates it started bipping. I instantly backed off and asked for help. One young blond lady did not know how to look in the machine for the products and instead of asking for help she I instantly became horrendously rude and occured me of stealing!. I could not believe it!. Then her " manager came who also quickly became very rude and told me I tried to steal too. I became shaky and could not focus ...that's how much they made me stressed. There were people around looking at whole situation thinnking I stole too. I had to open my banking app ( thank god I managed to remind myself I have my phone with me I. This hole stress) and two ladies suddenly were very surprised when I showed them my payment on my bank app. Yet ..they continued to be very rude and disrespectful and did not even apologised. I did ask for the name of the manager and she just walked off while I was speaking to her and refused to give me any. When I approached the security he also was rude and informed me he does not know the name of the manager ( how is that even possible?) I had to go back to the till and insist to the staff to give me her name, saying I know my rights and I have a right to know it. Eventually they gave me one. Thi was was horrendous and very traumatic experience for me .. and when I contacted Tesco complaint Facebook address they took the details and said they will not give me any feedback...and thats about it. I find it infuriating and I will take it further for sure!
Went in on Tuesday, picked up two packs of ham. That was all. On Thursday I pull them out of the fridge, one pack is cracked, the other has a piece of meat trapped in the seal which means it has never been sealed and is likely gone off. I take the pack with trapped meat back to the store, not the other one since I can not prove I didn't break it. Store refuses to swap the packet even though it clearly was their manufacturing error that a piece of meat caused the pack not to be sealed. It was a Tesco's own product. They claimed I don't have the receipt so they can not take it. This is ridiculous. It's not like they can resell it - it was not sealed! If it didn't have the Tesco brand on it, I would not be annoyed but refusing to refund or swap their own product is ridiculous. There are so many supermarkets on the high street that I will not be going again.
A really disgusting branch, indicative of Tesco’s profiteering and low standards. Products are always in the wrong shelf positions, so for example, all the ‘rocket, spinach and watercress’ in the ‘rocket’ section; many times you get home and find you’ve bought the wrong item, and this is for numerous things, not just one or two. I’ve pointed it out again and again, year after year, but still they just cannot be bothered to train staff or do it properly. They also sell fruit and veg which is often going off immediately. If there is a supply chain issue, be honest about it by discounting the products and indicating why and what might be wrong with them. A filthy branch of Tesco but similar to many others, unfortunately.
I went into this Tesco store today with my family after we went to Sainsbury’s we only went into Tesco to get some coffee because Sainsbury’s didn’t have the one we wanted. After paying for our coffee we got down to the crossing and we where stop by an Tesco worker who made an allegation that we stole from Tesco I will never ever go into this store ever again you don’t go around making false accusations about your customers I did tell the Tesco worker to check cctv I have also reported this incident to the police!!!
Called in yesterday in the afternoon and witnessed an elderly and frail gentleman with a rucksack being looked after by a lovely young woman cashier and Mr R the security guard who cheerfully helped him to put his rucksack back on. Unfortunately, I can't remember their names (my memory is very poor) but they know who they are!!!! I'll call in again because of your.
Would advise not to order your packages for collection here; they keep the packages in a completely unorganised way. One of the staff here told me, cant find your package and you need to contact for lost package. Thankfully another colleague spent some effort looking and finally found it. (But you cant expect that helpful staff to always be around)
Rude personnel and unprofessional. I wanted to return unused unopened item but they accused me of opening it while it was still sealed. The girl on the till meant to refund me money for the item, she took the item back but nothing was refunded. I am going to call a head office tomorrow morning to tell them about my horrible experience
dirty, filth-ridden, unsanitary, store, rude and angry staff, someone needs to explain to these supermarkets that they are in the service industry and need to train their staff correctly and make sure they are actually behaving in a civil, polite and respectful manner towards the public.
I have been in this store for some small grabs. Got them and was looking for kinder joy for my son. Was told by the staff named Glenda at the till that they have removed due to salmonella fears. The staff are helpful and greet with smile. the store is clean, easily available products.
Went in with my walking stick, it was kind of difficult to use it on the floor but that's fine. The security guard gave me a bag to hold the items in my hand while I waited by the door for my friends that were actually buying stuff. Store was cute, but quite small.
Walk in for quick shop for continue my journey. Good location as underground, overground and train station very next to it. Staff looks reasonable it i didn’t contact with them. Shelves were half empty and staff i need were not there. May be try next time.
Im new here as working nights close by, They have plenty of fresh food etc.. my only complaint is The Security guard has followed me on 3 mornings despite me being in work uniform. Really Puts me off going in there.
This is a good branch of Tesco. Employee are nice and cooperative. It's obvious that they take good care of the place, always clean and neat. I wish they had kosher or halal meat/chicken
Convenient Tesco that stocks the essential and then some. Yes, smaller than a regular Tesco, but nice being able to pop in for just eggs and milk. The staff members were friendly.
Small Tesco, very good to pick up a lunch or a couple of things on the way home, definitely not a place where you can get everything, but good for the odd thing.
For a convenience store and comparing to competitors in the area, they have a good selection of products but at a premium like any similar shops .friendly staff
I went there Wed 15th of Sept 2021 at 19:30ish & the new big lady at the checkout spoke rudely towards me. I simple wanted to pay, no need for poor manners.
Chaotic queueing system, self checkout permanently in disarray and often broken, and tiny aisles filled with staff restocking shelves at busiest times.
Prezzi alti per un supermercato londinese, tuttavia bisogna sottolineare che rimangono aperti fino alle 23:00 e il personale è molto gentile
Small Tesco, convenient location for locals. Not a massive selection and more expensive than larger Tescos. Open till 11pm every day.
Products easily available on d shelves. Good customer service and fresh bakery products. Satisfactory store...
Terrible vegan selection. Self checkout scanners dont work forcing me to put in the barcode number every time
It's like all the Tesco express. This is quite a big one so a fair selection. They did sandwich meal deals.
Westhemsted store is very nice n clean, all staff r helpfull. N iteams r easy to find good organise.
Bra att det finns, dock ganska fattig butik. Men bra läge och viktig. Kunde ja lite bättre utbud.
Had to tell them off for their out of date Mr Kiplings this week. Disappointing.
Lovely trains and helpful staff. Many in stock Quite pricey Good location
Good range of products and large choice of fresh fruits and vegetables
Always opening late! Why have a opening time when you don't go by it.
Good store, really easy to find items and really helpful staff.
