Don't do it! I hired Brian and his firm back in January of 2022 to do my personal and my company taxes and accounting. He was great about getting everything set up. Then when it came time to do payroll I had remind him in advance or it would not get done. I started getting letters from the state saying my taxes were not done. I asked Brian about it and he said the state is just running behind but they are filed. 6 months in after I was sick of reminding him to do payroll I asked for proof of taxes, he apologized and said he never did file ANY of my taxes! Now I'm stuck paying penalties and getting caught up. He never did send me an invoice either which was weird. I had recommended quite a few friends to use him. 1 had a good experience the other 2 he did the same thing never charged them and lied said it was filed but never was. Side note- I was browsing tik tok he popped in my feed not long before I let him go and he has incredibly weird and creepy tik toks. Too busy posting creepy stuff instead of taking care of clients. Weird, un organized experience and now I paying for it, literally.

Very disappointed! My taxes were not done on time, but I wasn't informed they wouldn't be done on time and that I needed to file an extension. I wasn't informed when they were filed either. The first time they filed them, they did not put my name correctly so it got kicked back. Now I am being penalized by the IRS for my taxes not being done or paid on time. Communication was slow and incomplete. I will not be using them again! The whole point of using a CPA, in my opinion, is to stay out of trouble with the IRS. Yet here I am owing over $500 more than I should to the IRS because I used a CPA instead of filing on my own and having it completed and paid on time. So annoyed that I paid someone a hefty fee just so I could get penalized by the IRS and have to pay even more!

Do not use this company. I was referred to DeeAnn Standlee by someone. Everything was set up at the initial stage easily and then once they have your money they are non responsive. I had all of my documents submit to them ahead of time, and had to keep following up because I knew things had not been done yet. After finally thinking by June that my taxes were done and filed once they had finally sent the last document for signature, I got a notice in October for my taxes being 6 month late and now have penalty fees to pay. Have reached out numerous times to ask why my taxes were not filed on time and still no response as to why I’m stuck paying penalty fees for their incompetence.
