I see the owner replied back - if his reply is not a clear indication of the type of person he is, I don’t know what else is. For one - please enlighten me on how the day I leave a review equates the day I was in store? Because it doesn’t. Thank you for telling anyone who looks at this that you went to a pumpkin patch - great for you. Secondly if you’re going to reply to reviews, I suggest a bit more poise, your reaction to negative content speaks volumes and it’s clear you’re a temperamental man if a silly little review gets you riled up like that! I would give zero stars if I could. The owner is rude and not helpful & he definitely needs to hire some staff. Just another white boy who thinks it’s okay to say the N-word as well. I will not be going back.

I love this place, we started coming here a few months back. My cats (and kids) love the tank new setup.. We purchased flag fishes, neon tetras, frogs, rainbow sharks, mini catfish, and my newest babies figure 8 puffers. They are honest and the prices are not that steep. I have been to 2 other locations in SA both were rude and didn't even acknowledge us being there. But this location took the time to chat, give us advice and feedback. Upal is a huge help and knowable. Someday I will owe a salt water tank, until then I will enjoy my beauties.

This store has FLOURISHED since the new management took over.Their tanks can show right off the bat the workers here have a deep passion for the fish keeping hobby. They have such a wide selection of animals I never thought I would get a chance to own, with reasonable prices. Recently purchased a garden eel and she is thriving in my tank. The owner and workers are highly knowledgeable when it comes to asking for tips and advice. They are kind and create a welcoming environment. I highly recommend checking out this store before any others.

I am very disappointed on how the store has gone down ever since it was sold to the new owner and the manager Chris was fired. I went in the other day, and their selection of fresh and saltwater fish were close to none. I went looking for an aquarium which they had very little selection of not 6 tanks. In the past, they had all types of sizes along with stands. The one staff member was very rude and did not bother to address us walking into the store. It hurts me to say but after this visit I will not be coming back every again.

Customer service is absolutely unmatched. My wife and I went to several different marine stores and I can say with confidence that Texas Tropical and Marine is the most outstanding. I am new to salt water aquariums and the staff at the location did an outstanding job at helping me with my new set up. The store has lots of amazing fish and equipment. I will no doubt be making this my forever store. Thank you to the staff and keep up the great job that y’all are already doing.

I was in the market for a new saltwater tank and I looked at several different local fish stores and Texas Tropical was hands down the best. They are under new ownership and they were able to find me the exact tank I wanted at a great price. The best aquatic store I have been to in SA!!! Much more variety then any other PS!!!! I got exactly what I was looking for and found some others on my bucket list that I will be going back for! Not to mention the prices!!! Super affordable and better then most places around NorthEast S.A! Definitely a life long customer for livestock!!!!!

Great shop great owners been going here for past 10 years I don't have a saltwater tank but I love to look at all the variety of marine life that they have and I say marine life because they don't just have fish they also have corals and sea urchins did you have some fresh water fish as well great place and helpful staff

I’ve been a customer for a little over a year and frequent the store weekly. Since under new ownership, the store is cleaner, brighter, and better than ever before. I would recommend this store to any local enthusiast; cody and his team are quite knowledgeable and can order any thing you may need.

These guys know everything about tropical fish. I loved their selection - I wandered around the store and they have really neat tropical and saltwater fish/shrimp/lobsters and plants. They are also very honest. (Aquarium prices are awesome!) I'll definitely be back!!

This place doesn’t deserve even a half of a star. Dead fish in each tank, terrible customer service, and on top of the mediocre service they charge you a $6 usd fee for no reason! Would not recommend, take your business elsewhere.
