The Texas Troubadour is an amazing venue, an intimate setting for any concert seeker. The doors open at 4:00 p.m., show starts around 6-ish, getting you out and home at a decent hour. Tables of 4 are staggered so that everyone has a view of the stage, not the back of a head of the person in front of you. TTT, does offer beverages and a limited menu, or there are several restaurants close by. What's even better is that the TTT is lolated in a strip mall across the street from the Opryland Hotel/Resort with several shops, all worth taking a peek in. The parking lot is well lit with lots of parking. If you are a George Strait fan, Strait Country is a show you cannot miss. On 4.22.2023, the evening entertainment was... Howard Decker, our Middle TN local celebrity- Howard has a huge following, the place was a sell out, and his items were going fast. After the show, Howard is eager to meet up with his long time fans, and the new fans he just made. His band is a mixture of long time musicians from all over, never missing a note. Strait Country features Mesquite, Texas native Howard Decker in a tribute show that pays homage to the one and only King of Country Music GEORGE STRAIT! After years of being told how much he sounded and resembled the looks of George Strait this special tribute show was born.

I’ve got to be honest. When we pulled up to the shopping center and I saw the little theater in the corner and all of the seemingly run down shops that were in the center, my spirits were dashed. I didn’t know what to expect but I didn’t expect this. Based on what I saw from the outside, we were in for a long night. After going inside, the presentation didn’t seem to improve. The non-smooth ticket taking experience and the church pew seating has me worried still. Then the curtain parted and BOOM! Oh my God! These guys and girls were Phenomenal!!!! I don’t think you can find a better group of musicians and singers assembled in one spot in Nashville. Seriously!!! It’s not a bunch of second rate hacks that got brushed to the outskirts of the city. These guys are accomplished, with serious resumes and very tight instrumentals. It was obvious that everyone involved in the show enjoyed what they were doing. I never got the impression that it was just work for them. The singers were great, the arrangements were great and some of the musicians were just off the charts. I feel guilty that I had judged the book by its cover. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend the show to anybody that comes to Nashville or even lives in Nashville.

My sister told me about Cowboy Church that she went to in Texas. So I looked it up and there was 1 in Nashville. We live in Baxter, a little over an hour away. But she was so excited about it had to try it. My husband, grandson, granddaughter, daughter in law and I went. Beautiful music & a short sermon from the Bible nothing more nothing less. Then they also had a group prayer for people wanting it. Just great people all around. The pastor greeted everyone on their way out & thanked them for coming. So glad to of found this. We will be coming back for sure. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed ❤️

This is a lovely upscale venue for both food & drinks. I mean upscale in that it's better than the average barroom in both stage presentation and quality performance; plenty of room to join friends or to have a quiet date and some food. I see great future presentations there. Soon another bar needs to be set up in the main room because the front bar is swamped but cheerfully do their best to accommodate everyone. You may have to wait for a beverage but the drinks are good and so is the food...worth the wait!

I went there this past Saturday night to the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree which started back up again on September 17th 2022. It's a lot of fun and it's a way to see and be a part of some Country Music history. It's the second oldest radio show after the Grand Ole Opry. The Jamboree started in 1947. Every one should go. It's a lot of fun!!.

  • Thomas Annick

Saw the Music of Nashville at the Texas Troubadour. Wow, what a show. Phenomenal band and a variety of likable vocalists performing 60 years of country hits. It’s a solid 2 hours with an intermission which goes by fast because it’s so highly entertaining. Well worth the price of admission. We absolutely loved it.

Always a great time at The Troubadour when music of every Era takes the stage. Courteous Staff, Great Drinks and close to Home! Recently saw The Malpass Brothers whose family was in from NC visiting. We had a great time!! Highly Recommended a night out at The Troubadour …

A Nashville Legend. It is an establishment which hosts Country Music award shows, home of Tenneessee Songwritter International, radio shows on WSM, and an official Cowboy Church on Sunday mornings (open to the public and right down the church from the Grand Ole Opryland Hotel).

  • Stephen McDonough

Been there 2 times, one for live country music by famous artists and the other time was for "Country Box", where there is boxing and live music by famous country artists. Had absolute blast and price for both events were very reasonable. I would recommend to anyone this place.

  • Mary Lou Reed

Very nice. Sound, stage, could have used another bar tender. The only one on duty was great, but she was in need of help. It didn't appear to be setup for quick serve. Put the draft beer in the center and easy to reach. Think triangle, like one would setup a kitchen.

  • Tim Blum

Fantastic show, Amazing Performers and Staff. The kindness and attention they showed to my father was so appreciated. He was all smiles when we left. It was a fantastic start to his Nashville trip! I would highly recommend seeing this show when you are in Nashville!

  • Dawn Bixler

We just saw this show today, 12/11/19, Wednesday matinee in Nashville. The show was fantastic and I highly recommend seeing this if you get the opportunity. Every singer and musician was excellent! Their performance was full of energy and they were very engaging.

  • D Talbot

Here now, absolutely HORRIBLE service. Had to go wave to the bartender for a drink as she’s talking to a woman who is holding a bar chair for her husband who is working the karaoke system on stage all night. Rodney Collins, shame full service!

  • Liz Falconer

We went here twice during our stay in Nashville. Both times, the music was excellent. Not overwhelmingly loud, and great musicianship. There's a huge dance floor and friendly staff. I think this venue is going to grow once word gets out!!

  • Christa Bolton

We met and heard many second generation performers; Bunny Anderson, John Cash, Jr, Pam Tillis, Mel Tillis, Jr. Bellamy Brothers. Jeannie Cellie was there in the crowd, TG Shepard was there along with several others. Very fun night!

  • Alex Rowe

Texas Troubadour Theater has been reopened under new ownership as "The Troubadour" with beautiful new dancefloor and Classic Country acts you don't want to miss. You never know who may wonder over after an opery performance!

  • Jacquie Ott

This is a very nice "dive" which isn't really a dive. The music is good, entry is reasonable, and food is tasty. Been there twice so far to see Tim Atwood perform at R.O.P.E. events, and have found a warm welcome both times.

  • Sofia Grover

Incredible establishment that will bend over backwards to assist artists in need. Fundraisers to outstanding music with some of the best Nashville artists. This is a gem to our great state of Tennessee …

  • Lisa Driver

Big place, with a big dance floor, and great staff. They host events with some amazing musicians but wish they would get some steady weekend bands playing because, they have the best dance floor in the area.

  • Herb Lane

Comfortable sized theater for an intimate concert. Not possible to get a bad seat. Fully enjoyed ourselves. I hear there is a great biography of Elvis performed most Sundays and cowboy church Sunday morning.

  • Mary Boggs

We go Sunday mornings for Nashville Cowboy Church. Non-denominational. No charge. Singing, praying, and preaching. Children, ages 3-11, are encouraged to go to CowKids Church for their own little service.

  • Linda McKee

Great show! Well worth the $15 Lyft ride to Texas Troubadour from Downtown. It’s located in a little unassuming venue but don’t let that sway you. These performers are the real deal. Highly recommended.

  • Brian Covert

Our team shot a season's worth of a television series of music performances, and the team at the Troubadour helped pull this off very well. Enjoyed our time there and hope to do it again soon!

  • Susan Metz

  • Tamanie Dove

Anyone hosting a venue to sell tickets in the heat of a pandemic is not a good idea. The safety of our community should come first, not ticket sales.

  • Lloyd E. Matson

Saw the Music of Nashville live show last night. The entire show was fantastic! Small stage venue. This is a don’t miss live show in Nashville.
