This is one of the worst places you can eat at in the entire food court. I ordered the chicken shak bowl in soy garlic and my sister ordered a soup and believe me it was the biggest nightmare with the first bite. The chicken was raw and had a stench of being a couple of days old, there was no flavour of soy or garlic. When I returned to the counter, the lady was super rude and said I was the only one having problems with the chicken and that no one had complained all day. The cook then quickly offered to give me rice and veggies without the chicken and a Tom yum soup to my sister and I do appreciate the intent of the solution however, the food again did not have any flavour whatsoever. The sauces were all sweet and no other flavour. I understand how we can’t expect good thai food from a mall food court but a basic flavour should At least be offered for the $$ you pay. I will never go back here to waste my money but the staff could be trained and food needs to be fresh, you cannot play with someone’s gut like this. Going through the comments below I see the chicken being a constant problem with your customers, do a revamp and stop selling old food for a premium.

My husband and I stopped at Thai Express Square One for a meal on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. This is my second mistake and my husband's first and his last. As we were about to place the order the young man stood there staring at us and walked away to assist the cook, he continued to look at us while he assisted his colleague....strange at how he displayed his dislike for serving. He finally returned to take my order as he pointed at the "cash only" sign while I was speaking not sure that he heard my order which we later found out. Not only was the service poor, the counter was filthy with residue from customer finger print and long strand of hair every where, the nuts container was nasty looking and the pieces of lemon/ lime was brown making it difficult to extract juice. We ordered chicken pad thai one was all vegetable and the other noodles, with exactly three pieces of pre-cooked chicken no hot sauce although the orders were 1-mild and 1-hot. I believe that given the service the food was quite expensive ($16.90 for 2) plus we had to ask the cashier to return the change from $20. The female cashier was kind but the guys need to go. THAI EXPRESS YOU NEED TO SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT...........

Horrible experience! I am used to order Thai Express from Sheridan College at OAKVILLE but they closed that campus one for the summer. Today I went shopping with my friend at Square one and I saw it again I was really excited so ordered a take out to bring back to oakville to eat...The cashier was also rude when I asked her if they have anything special and she is answering me in a sarcastic tone, I got what i usually get anyway, Tom yum soup. And on school shuttle bus I saw my bag is getting lots soup leaking out I was thinking because I walked so it spilled. NOT the case! When I finally arrived after the bus ride, I realize they actually gave me a BROKEN container. In that case not only no soup left(cant even reuse the soup because a cardboard they put in the bag) but also it leaked everywhere on my clothes and also on the table i was sitting. I was really angry and did not get to enjoy my food at all! I am really disappointed. Never go again! Worst Thai express experience ever . Not only the food but customer service is horrible. In Country like canada , they should atleast hire one person who can understand english and communicate. Cook KIM tried to put more sauce in meal when i was telling its saucy and started arguing with me. Bought curry which was horrible , but based on previous experiences with different locations I went there again and got pad thai. Pad thai was really horrible and not edible was looking poor too. I simply went and told KIM to replace but he started arguing in rude tone that he is there for ten years and did not accept it. Never going to any location due to KIM’s service , head office need to visit this location. Out of many place if people are choosing you , atleast accept the feedback instead of yelling and arguing on someone who got two meals from and had to throw it. Based on all other reviews , head office should take action on this cook behaviour and their service.

We ordered shrimp pad Thai (spicy) It was mostly noodles, It didn't have the normal amount of extras. Not enough bean sprouts, not enough tofu, not enough egg, it was plain noodles with 5 shrimps. It wasn't even spicy. They also didn't use the thaiexpress containers although there were plenty of those behind them. They used white containers. Also why is there a piece of chicken in it??? For someone who only eats halal, they can't eat it anymore. The attitude, the customer service, the food itself, all poor. They seemed like they didn't even want to make it. Update: I reaching out to Thai Express and they got all the information regarding this incident but when asked for compensation they ignored me.

The staff was not able to understand English very well that led to miscommunication. I was just asking how to pronounce the word Panaeng. He couldn’t answer me and trying to say that “do you want it or not?” in a rude way. So I was calm and trying to clarify myself that I was just curious about it. I asked again, “How do you say this word?” I was pointing at the word. And the old guy kept on saying again in a rude and arrogant manner, “I don’t know what you’re talking about” -“do you want it or not?” “What do you want? You want to cancel the order?” I lost my appetite and just let him cancel the order. It seems that guy feel that it’s not his lost not to sell their food. Please hire people who are not rude to costumers and can communicate well.

I wish I could give this place a half of a star. The worst Thai Express I have had in a long while. I Usually don't trust mall food courts and this is the reason why. Noticed that the portions are significantly smaller and there's barely any sauce or flavor to the food. I ordered a general Thai pineapple chicken and it was terrible. The worst part is I ordered two one for myself and one for my dad. Please do better. Why charge $31 for bland food!? I will not be eating here again.

Could be better. TOM YUM small soup was super yummmmand surprisingly had noodles in it. So was like a full yummy meal. Was nice and spicy just the way I like it. Pad see ew was a massive serving also but the noodles were very dry. Next day had to throw it out because it was hard. Taste was good fresh though. Banana cake was the cutest yummy treat. Packaging is super cute as always but the soup top came off , was not secured properly. Will try again, hopefully will have improved

Mango salad was not worth it (refrigerated so its all hard and ice crunchy?) The meat in the dumplings were spoiled.(drowned in sauce to mask the smell) General curry was very spicy (which I liked), but I asked for less spicy. The pad see ew was bland. Only taste is from the few beef pieces they put. Overall not a good experience with the food. The workers were nice though. Would probably come back in a couple months or if I see a new cook there.

This Thai Express is the worst one I've ever had the unfortunate experience of trying... Burnt basil fried rice and gloopy chicken curry which tasted awful. It was literally like yellow water cooked so much but then there were chunks of raw hard potato cubes in it. I don't even understand how that happens?? My friend ordered 2 pad sewsw and apparently they were both really good? I'm super confused about this place but I won't try it again

I’ve tried their Tom Yum Soup (Shrimp) twice so far, and this is the best Thai Express I’ve ever experienced. Their ingredients are fresh, and the soup is not salty or blend. I haven’t tried their other menus, but their service is exceptional and would come back for sure!

Very disappointed with the food.I have been eating Thai food from Thai express from ages and have been ordering the same Basil Thai fried rice from their outlets.It was my first time ordering from the square one mall and I couldn’t even have this food. Very very disappointed and had to literally through it in the garbage. Please avoid this place.Thai express team please have a look to this as this Franchise is adding bad name on you.

Just ordered a "Special" Thai soup. It was truly disgusting. To summarize: a big bowl of cheap noodles in a watery broth. So called "beef" tested very oddly - can't objectively judge about how fresh it was but it didn't taste normal. There was also a big chunk of beef that is impossible to eat (if someone brave tried). At this price point there are lots of other decent options. I'd definitely avoid this place.

Asusual, yummy Thai Green Curry with rice. So delicious and mouthwatering with coconut gravy. Superb tasty veggies.

We have been to many Thai Express and have always had a great experience. This one was no different. We went for the vegan Pad Thai with Tofu and it was great. Always bloody hot, straight out of the wok. The staff was good. Not very friendly but still fine. This place is in the food court which is often crowded but you can still manage to find a place. Definitely recommended.

Someone from head office needs to come and see how the employees work here, especially the lady behind the cash register and Asian lady with long hair. She’s so rude she needs to get out of there. She does not know how to talk to customers. I’ve been there twice, and I walked away because of her attitude.

My go to location for some chicken pad thai. I’ve ordered from here over 5 times and it has always been a pleasant experience. The take out container is always packed to the brim with noodles and loads of pieces of chicken. Each bite hits you with a sweet and slight tanginess that leaves you wanting more.

It says Thai express, but it’s not Thai express food. The food isn’t awful, but it’s not great. The worst Thai Express I’ve ever been to. The chicken isn’t made the same and the sauce is totally different. The rice had the rubber taste. When I go back to square one, I definitely won’t be eating from here again.

I would give this place MINUS 5 rating...my wife purchased a bowl of "Thai Soup" which consisted of rice noodles, a few snippets of veggies & beef. This so-called "soup" was made from the water the noodles were cooked in! No flavour, no spices, not even salt & pepper! DISGUSTING!!!

Have been to various Thai Express restaurants and have always been met with great service, this was no different. The food was fresh, staff were lovely and I really enjoyed it. The location is quite big as well so there really wasn’t a line while I was there.

Do not go to this location! I ordered Tom Yum Soup to go and the plastic bag smelt like garbage!! The same smell was in the restaurant, too. Waste of $12.00... The Square One location is much better. The food is fresh, delicious, and doesn’t smell bad!

If you are vegetarian then pls don’t visit this place. I ordered vegan fried rice and the chef cooked it in the same vessel in which he was making non veg food too. I just had to throw the rice. Felt so bad for wasting money. No ethics followed here

Don’t waste your money. They cut on ingredients for the two dishes we ordered. You can get better microwaved food than this. Trust the stars and go somewhere else.

If you want to eat TomYum don’t order it here because what they have doesn’t taste like one. No tangy lemongrass broth, just chicken broth with some weird flavor.
