Art Works is amazing! Two things I want to comment about a few low ratings... 1) There are comments about the high prices. I don't like generalities but there are many items and pieces that are very reasonably priced. But I also come here for some special pieces that are finds that are expensive but these can be like specialty boutique items that are handcrafted from a lesser known designer in NYC. They're not dollar store items. 2) There are a few comments about bad customer service. I bought a few pieces on a few occasions and have had the attention of 3 or 4 staff at a time helping me and to wrap or package my items. As I noted, this is an amazing store to find unique pieces you won't find anywhere else from designers or artists from other locales. And the staff has always been helpful. Right in the middle of a huge Christmas rush and many floral orders, Vanessa took the time to discuss items in the store, she looked at my photo on my phone to see what piece would blend, and three staff chipped in to help package and wrap. I love Art Works and I'd give it 6 stars if I could. ❤️❤️❤️

The owner and some of the staffs at this store seem to ignore customers based on their appearance frequently (I have been at this store to pick up flowers about a couple dozen times over the last 20 yrs and they have always treated customers this way everytime I am there). The products in this store are quite lovely and the fresh flower selections are very unique and beautiful but quite expensive as well (probably due to their selection of unique offering). Their fresh flower pricing is about 1.8-2.8x that of Petals for Less and probably 1.25-2x a normal local flower shop. The way they package their flowers are based on a tiered cost system (if the flowers are on sale, then their is no need for effort on presentation). I have purchased flowers about a dozen or so times, just because they have the fresh flowers I was looking for. Overall, if you want customer service, reasonable pricing and an inviting atmosphere, I would say there are plenty of other flower shops to go to in Edmonton. I would recommend Flower Affairs by Calgary Trail and Petals for Less by 137ave and 97 street.

The Artworks owned by Wendy and Peter Turner is a real gem in #Yeg and has been known to me since the early 90s when the Pulp Fiction Juice Bar was next door to the flower shop all run by Peter; The pics here tell one how special this store is providing you have the funds to purchase one of a kind special item..and every Christmas there is a delivery by mail of the special items Wendy and Peter have chosen to promote at the Art Works. Bravo and immense gratitude to both Wendy and Peter!!

⭐⭐Definitely a 10 out of 5 stars!! What's more important than just beautiful flowers? It's the card that comes with the flowers!! Great selection & creative cards for every moment in life. Cute little gift store as well. The ladies here are very creative and helpful.. Only the most important ladies in my life get flowers that why I shop "the artworks" 10 + years of happiness and love all wrapped in a bouquet of flowers!!!

On April 8th or 9th I ordered a bouquet of flowers from you for Easter. I asked only that they be long lasting and have lilies as I love the fragrance. You folks delivered a perfect bouquet that gave and gave. I cut the stems every three days and completely changed the water. The Gerbera daisies have carried on after the other flowers finally were finished. Thank you for such a wonderful bouquet. They continue to lift my spirits daily.

A lovely gift shop with the most awe-inducing florals! It’s always a fantastic day when I receive a bouquet or piece of jewelry from The Artworks. Their card selection is also top notch. Is the service aloof at times? Yes, it is. I was there yesterday (June 2/23) and not one staff member said hello or even smiled a greeting. This doesn’t bother me as I don’t need staff fawning over me. That said, it may bother others.

Cool store, went in to try a fountain pen. Was informed I could not try it because “fountain pens are a very personal writing experience”. Store may have a no testing policy on their high end pens, however this seems pretentious because these ARE personal writing implements. I shouldn’t have to spend 300 dollars just to discover I don’t like the pen I bought. I’ll be sticking with Stylus instead.

I visited The Artworks yesterday. What a wonderful, artistic store! I bought an item made right in Edmonton. So hard to find local products, but this is the place for it. The staff were lovely and very helpful, when I first spoke on the phone with them, and when I went into the store. It's shops like these that make me love downtown Edmonton. I highly recommend this business.

This store should have a much higher google rating - it has to be the best flower shop in Edmonton. I always purchase flowers from here every couple of months they do a phenomenal job. They make the bouquets more unique and special vs going to a regular flower shop. Everyone I have purchased for loves them so much. Highly recommend support your local downtown!!!!

I have no words as to how amazing the staff at artworks are not to mention the most beautiful gift shop I have been to in Canada! Nothing makes me happier than when my husband brings me home a bouquet from artworks! TIMELESS, exquisite and beats expectations every time ... Truly magnificent shop guaranteed to find a work of art every time!

Great little place for unique shopping and flowers. They have lots of local made products and brand name items, and a great selection of fountain pens. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. The only down side may be that the prices are quite high, but it's definitely worth stopping in as there is always something for everyone.

When creating a mood or an atmosphere, always go to Artworks for their incense sticks called =" INCENSE OF THE WEST. GREAT NEW PRODUCT THAT THE ARTWORKS HAS TAKEN ON THAT WILL NEVER FAIL. I was asked to get flowers for a coworkers family, this place i couldn't believe it! I gave my price limit and just askedfor a nice arrangement for the family as their loved one passed away. This place what a rip off! Gave 3 flowers for a $100 and their customer service was terrible! I strongly recommend you go else where....

I love this place. I buy all my cards here. Really lovely staff too. the only thing I would say is the flowers are very pricey and the ones I bought for a friend, wilted before dinner was over. So that was disappointing. But i definitely recommend this place. They have a cute dog too ;P

Beautiful store however, I have never felt poorer when visiting a store. Terrible customer service, I imagine they discriminate based on how you look, I had just come from the gym. The woman was so rude, I was shocked, really sad because the store itself is gorgeous.

Artworks did the flowers for my wedding and they were absolutely perfect. Their florist took my description and created the most perfect flowers for my bouquet. And they were so thoughtful in how they packed the flowers to keep them fresh right up until the ceremony.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Sky! She asked all the right questions, was fast and delivered my request day of in like 2 hours and they are stunning! Thank you Sky and the team art Artworks you make beautiful arrangements. Will definitely order again!

A place full of beautiful treasures to spend the afternoon getting lost in. Each piece is carefully chosen and while the price reflects that, everything I have purchased in this shop I love and know will stand the test of time. Definitely worth popping in.

A beautiful store, great location too. The staff are always helpful. I love taking a lunch break and wandering in to see the new stock. You can get a lot of gifts here that you wouldn't be able to get anywhere else in the city.

Best wrapping and customer service ever had. Went to Papyrus first and they refused wrapping my gift. However, the lady in The Artworks helped and did a really good job. Highly recommend this store.
