i walked into the Athletes Foot Store with my two kids ( 4 years and 2 years). I was looking at some shoes to buy roughly between $200-260 I was helped by a young lady she explained to me which ones I should get, I was happy with the ones that she showed me but I wanted to make sure that they were going to be the best fit for me. As I was on my way out I was having another look and decided that I wanted to get them. However I was rudely stopped by one of the staff (a male) who has told me to take my kids out of the store because they had some sushi they were eating and they left some rice crumbs on the ground. How should I react to that?? The last 3 times I have been there I have purchased shoes for $200-300. I certainly won’t be going to this store again. And I don’t recommend you do either.

After responding to an email to come back to shop after COVID 19 , I went to Malvern Central to find runners for my secondary school aged daughter. Upon entering the store, I was acknowledged by the manager, who then tried to serve someone else at the same time. Only offered two pairs of very ugly shoes that they obviously couldn't sell otherwise Then I was charged $30.00 for socks that my daughter could try with the runners. I did not buy a pair of runners. This store has very poor stock availability and now I know why people buy online. Even poorer customer service. Will never return.

I give this rating with seriousness - I literally felt bullied that I don't know what is the right shoe for my very complicated feet. To the point that I had found a pair I liked and they refused to let me try it on with them - lied that they didn't have it in my size. Sent my partner back to get them - they had the size and they are absolutely the right shoe for me. If you have challenging feet to fit, trust your own perspective and take someone in to help advocate for them to listen to you - that's if you cannot get the shoe somewhere else.

The service was great. I was helped by Jess, who was amazing. She helped me find the right shoe for my foot and made sure I was happy with it. Had great discounts, and all of the staff there were very friendly. I went near closing time, but they didn't rush me at all. The manager was really nice, and the shoes where great quality. I found exactly what I wanted. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to get their shoes. Thanks Athletes Foot for making my visit easy and enjoyable!

After placing an order online almost two weeks ago, I decided that, considering the current climate, it would be better to have my daughter's shoes delivered. I telephoned Malvern Central to arrange this and spoke to Yaal who offered to personally deliver the shoes. What service and compassion! So impressed. Thank you for going the extra mile under these circumstances. Very much appreciated.

I was very much looking forward to buying some shoes after a while and came into this store. However, my experience was quite unpleasant by the sales person not been very helpful and giving me looks as if I’m just trying shoes on for the fun of it. It was a young sales man - perhaps learn to respect your customers. I will take my money elsewhere, thanks.

Poor stock in store and didn’t get the best service. I guess the guy tried his best but considering I deal with complicated conditions on both toes which make sneaker shopping emotionally draining and difficult, I didn’t feel like I got the support they claim to provide customers in finding the right shoe. Won’t come here ever again.

The service from Athletes foot Malvern has been impeccable. From what was a bit of cluster at the Chadstone store, these guys rectified and went above & beyond. If you’re in the area these guys actually care about helping people with the right footwear & sizing. Can not thank them enough.

Received fantastic service from the very helpful Mia. Excellent range of shoes for teenage boys. Even though some items / sizes were out of stock in store, she helped us to complete a quick & easy purchase online. Really happy with our items- will definitely be shopping here again!

I have bought my last 2 pairs of runners here and am very happy with the expertise. I have been avoiding buying runners as I need orthotic friendly, wide foot runners, which I thought would be hard to find, but today bought the first pair that was presented! Great experience!
