The Canadian Brewhouse was always the place my friends and I would always meet up at as the food and service was phenomenal. Food always came right on time and our servers were always friendly and were easy to have a conversation with. They were always attentive by checking up on you to make sure your table had everything. We’ve recently started going back again but have found that the service has gotten bad. The multiple times we’ve gone there, we found every time we’ve gone there, servers rarely check up on you, and these were nights that weren’t even that busy. When it came to tipping, we found the server was really upset with the tip we would give them…which we felt was the best amount for not the greatest service. The food quantity has also gotten bad. You use to get a lot of food for what you’ve paid for but now that’s been cut by at least 1/2. Our friend had ordered chicken wings and maybe only got 8 wings, when you use to get a big basket for it for the same price. Overall, after the last couple of experiences we had, I don’t think we’ll be heading back anytime soon.

I have frequented this establishment a number of times with my wife and father-in-law and the food has been great almost every time, except for last night, December 17, 2023. I have to say that both the food and the service were sub-par. Our table ordered wings and what happened is that one person got the wrong wing flavour and another person didn't get the full order until we asked the waitress for it. It seemed like the serving staff was very inexperienced and unorganized, even when it came to being seated to a table. Now on the food side, the wings were not very hot (temperature-wise) and both my wife and I had sore stomachs all of last night and both of us were in the bathroom because of the food we had for supper at your establishment. I'm just going to make this comment; if last night had been my first time to your restaurant, I would never go back, I don't know what has happened to one of my favourite places to eat, but you need to fix it. I liked the hustle and effort that the servers had, but some training and supervision is definitely due on top of whatever is going on in the kitchen.

Buffalo Chicken

First time there. Niece wanted to go there for her birthday & was glad of the ribs special! She had been there before. We ordered 2 baskets each of the ribs, 2 with sauce & 2 dry. Our choices different so we could have a taste of each. Ordered large basket of fries to share. As I need to watch my sugar, I asked for mustard which I usually do other places. Our waitress was great, friendly, courteous and attentive. I do wish she had told me that there was a charge for the mustard. I wasn't expecting it & unfortunately did not see the $1.50 charge on my receipt until I got home. If I had noticed it at the restaurant, I would have addressed it then. Even though I took it home, a bit of an excessive charge for mustard to dip fries in. Would have done without. Kinda dampened my spirits after a nice meal & pleasant evening. You'd be 5 ⭐if it wasn't for the mustard!

This restaurant has an okay amount of parking, however be aware that there are many reserved spots for other businesses nearby. The restaurant itself is quite nice and has several option for dining in. We chose to eat inside, however there is a nice looking patio. We were seated promptly by friendly staff. The staff looked after us very well. The food was really good. The refills didn't need prompting. I had the Hawaiin pizza on traditional crust, it was very good. Others had shepherds' pie, quesadillas and tacos, all very good. Super friendly staff. Definitely a great place to meet friends. We will be back.

I was a member of a party of 7 retired firefighters celebrating a birthday. The food was good; primarily wings and the drinks were cold/tasty. The highlight of the day centered around the incredible service from Abigail. To say she was fast, informative, personable, friendly and a great representative of your organization is to sell her short. We couldn't be happier with the service and consideration. Thank you Abigail! You're the reason we will come back.

This was my second time coming to this restaurant. The first time we had a terrible experience (food and service wise). Last night tried it again, and it was a complete turn around! 3/4 of us had the Prime rib special - it was delicious! The service was much better, as well. Only complaint was the music being so loud that we were yelling the entire time just to hear ourselves and even the server we had said she couldn’t hear us when we would talk to her. Will definitely come back!

Nice space, friendly service. Gets packed in there so best to make reservation. The guys we were with did the Burger challenge. Eat the whole burger (6 Patties and poutine) in an hour and it’s free. The quesadilla was not great…. It had some weird tangy sauce in it. Didn’t stay together. Was a mess. The poutines are horrible. Crinkle fries out of a bag? The gravy tastes like hospital or powdered gravy. Hardly any cheese. Hard pass. The nachoes were decent. Jalapeños poppers decent. The food is basically edible here, better if your two drinks in.

Terrible. Placed a Skip order, lemon pepper wings were tiny,ice cold, weren't seasoned and dried out. cauliflower wings were soggy, cold, greasy mushy and tasteless. Boneless wings were ice cold, greasy and barely sauced at all.Fries were greasy, soggy, cold and disgusting. Even the vegetables were missing their dip. Ordered from them before and was acceptable. Not this time. I feel ripped off. I'd be embarrassed to serve this slop at my home, let alone at my establishment. I'd have left zero stars if it were possible. 0/5*

I love the atmosphere here specially on a pleasant summer day in the patio. Food is pretty good overall. I like pretty much everything here, except for: - Bone In Wings (very dry and dark meat, that's what she said) - Nacho Platter (too greasy) The boneless wings hit the spot though! Caesar Parmesan and Death Sauce wings are couple of my favourites. I'd recommendtheir Brisket Poutine too. Great daily specials as well..

I wanted to go here to collect my birthday gift from CBH. Always met with the best service and never dull atmosphere. Our server was great. Our food was so good hot and very fast. I also thought it was great she was one of the only ones wearing orange on truth and reconciliation day aswell. **My pictures were missing some food.**

This once great fast casual place was a solid go to... Now the food is mediocre and similar to competitors. The service was far better when the place was newer. Now they are either short staffed or struggling to find really good staff, from kitchen to servers, resulting in really slow service. It isn't an awful place but isn't amazing. Just a place for sports watching and beer now.

This was a really great experience. I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and have a dairy allergy and my server Justin was very kind and attentive about making sure I was taken care of. Being a burden is always a concern but he made sure to make me feel better and assure me that my food was safe. Great experience thanks to Justin.

A real ‘come as you are’ sports bar with great beverages and possibly the city’s best nachos. It’s a pretty big place so we got in right away. Stanley cup finals had the joint jumping. My wife said it was the best Cesar she ever had. Massive beer selection but I didn’t see any local options. Overall really great!

An average place. The nachos were excellent. The wings(meat) tasted almost spoiled or just not washed/prepped properly. The seasoning just kind of masked the odd flavor of the meat. Wings tiny but price is ok. The greeter was terrible but the servers were very nice

Wednesday wings are awesome! Great deal for great food. The Johnny Cash sauce is a keeper! Beer was cold and served in a beautifully frosted mug. Can’t ask for more than that! Elyse was personable, efficient and professional. This was a great experience and we will return.

I tried the spicy cucumber caesar from this extensive menu. So many delicious options! It was nice and spicy, just the way I like it! My first visit at the Canadian Brewhouse and I will return for another delicious Caesar! The chicken sliders and sweet potato fries... so yummy! Hope Catherine is our server again!

Just tried this place a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the setting. Great food, decent prices/ portions and staff were super friendly and on-point. I'll definitely be going back here.
