Sold us a Ford Fiesta that was dangerous to drive. The first time it was driven more than 5 mins to the shop and back was barely a week after purchase on an A road (obviously going around 60mph). The front passenger wheel was LOOSE and almost came off mid drive. RAC had to come out to the layby my partner managed to stop in and said "you were this close to us having to come and recover the car instead of us trying to repair it." My partner has tried contacting this company multiple times via phone and email about this and has asked for them to pay for the repairs as it was bought from them in this condition. Its been over 5 business days now and they continue to ignore him. My partner could very easily have been in a serious accident because of this fault and they are refusing to even respond to him, even though when purchasing the car they were always very quick to respond. Please please please go elsewhere if you are wanting to purchase a car! UPDATE: The guy who sold us the car rang my partner up after I posted my review. He gave the excuse that he had been away all week and that they had a new guy in all week. I'm not sure how he thinks this is a valid excuse, does the new guy not know how to respond to an email or pick up the phone? They always responded very quickly when we were trying to purchase a car from them. He could have very easily responded saying the owner was away but he would respond by date X. When the original guy finally rang my partner back, he explained that the warranty means we would have had to have taken the car back to them for the repairs. There is absolutely no way the car could have been driven the 25 mins from our house to his shop. He said he would pay my partner £150 for the damages, as apparently this is what it would have cost for them to fix the car. The car was bought with legitimate Ford wheels. Damages cost us £411. This included a new alloy, tire, and labour. We double checked this higher price, new genuine Ford alloys alone are at least £210 from Ford, which is where our mechanic ordered them from. £150 is far too low a price for the work that needed to be done. He was either going to use old parts or cheap knock-offs, had we been able to take it back to them for repair. We paid for a Ford Fiesta with 4 genuine Ford alloys. Just seems that if you paid for genuine parts and then a few days later they are replaced with cheap knock-offs the value of the car is decreased and hence a rip-off. On top of this, he said on the phone he would give my partner an extra £50 IF I removed my negative review. The car was fixed (by our mechanic) however upon closer inspection by the mechanic, it turns out the second front tire (drivers side) was also LOOSE! My partner emailed the car shop back a couple of days later asking for that offer given over the phone to be put in writing. They emailed back that day, which backtracks on what they said over the phone. The part about warranty and £150 was basically the same (it was now £153 not £150), however when asked about the £50 to be put in writing they flat out denied this had been offered. They changed this to a "gesture of good will", and said they would really appreciate it if I changed my review as they are not the company they sounded like in my review (their words not mine). I would like to reiterate what I said at the end of my original review, which is please please please look elsewhere if you are wanting to purchase a car! Utterly disgraceful company who clearly don't care about fellow human beings. I dont know if the owner will read this updated review, but if you have read this, would you still be throwing a measly £150 our way, and a bonus £50 for me to either remove or heavily edit my review in order to hide how dodgy your business is if my partner wasn't lucky enough to avoid an accident and had ended up in a hospital bed, or worse? Or would you actually man up and start taking responsibility for the cars you are selling and actually spend the money to get them properly checked first and hold yourself fully accountable?

I bought a Jaguar XK from this garage. On my initial call I had some concerns as the car was advertised on the website with drive away insurance and warranty. On the day I was told this wasn’t applicable to this car. I’d made an appointment to see the car, however I was told I’d need to wait for the boss, Onur. After waiting for about 45 minutes, he eventually arrived from another garage. Car seemed good condition and we agreed a price. On driving away, the car experienced a major fault and all of the coolant exploded all over the engine bay and under the car. The car was subsequently recovered by the garage and I waited patiently for an update on repairs. I was told the water pump needed to be replaced. It was difficult getting through to Onur despite emailing and calling. I spoke to another guy there multiple times and was told Onur would call me back. As weeks went past, I was told conflicting updates by the staff working there on separate calls. Issues with sourcing a water pump, then an issue with gasket, then a family death of the mechanic and then that the repairs had not been carried out despite being told they were. I had to keep chasing for updates. Hugely disappointing and extremely frustrating. I was promised I’d be updated/ notified when the repairs were completed. After four weeks, I decided enough was enough as I’d heard nothing and sourced another car. The review is reflective of the awful customer service. I wish they had just been honest and transparent with me. Make sure that you buy with caution as the car I had purchased had been sat for weeks which I was told by the Car Centre had caused the seized pump.

Picked up a car a month ago. Start off on the positives. The staff were friendly and welcoming and couldn’t fault that. The car was as described on the outside. I feel a bit disappointed that I have to leave a negative review as the staff seemed nice, but firstly I had to pay for registered keeper documents as none provided. If I’m not mistaken the advert said one previous owner when in fact there was two (although not sure 100% on this one) Secondly on the way home I noticed the car starting to judder and jolt when trying to pick up speeds. I presumed this was because the car may not have been driven for a while and seemed to rectify itself for a week. The car was serviced and MOT’d the day before I picked it up so wasn’t expecting what followed. Few weeks later in got worse and a complete lack of power. I ended up breaking down and having to pay for the car to be towed home. Called the company to see if they would fix it and they said yes, but I’d have to arrange for it to be towed there (as I didn’t take the premium warranty package) but I wasn’t expecting such issues a month after. Lesson learned on this though for next time. Ended up pricing the costs to have it fixed by a local garage or to be towed to the dealership and in the end decided to have it fixed by the local garage as costs were the same roughly. 3 new coil packs were needed and new spark plugs. Car now runs like a dream, but I’m left with a bitter aftertaste and not a pleasant experience.

The wrong sort of seats mean misery and I have to sell the car. I saw a car that I liked at The Car Centre and the three guys there, as well as letting me test drive, were only too happy for me to sit in the car for an hour and even invited me back the next day to sit in the car and see if the seats were for me. I purchased a smart car from the car centre on the 04 Feb.after a few days I started to have problems with the vehicle.i informed the car centre and took it in to be fixed under warranty.on picking the vehicle up the same problem appeared again within 48 hours of picking the vehicle up.i contacted the car centre and told them the car wasn't fit for purpose and I would be returning it and would be requesting a refund.the manager was polite and extremely helpfully and understood my predicament.he agreed to take the vehicle back and issue a refund once he cancels the finance. I purchased my car over a year ago and got a great finance deal from the car centre and i have to say the service i had was brilliant. Both salesman Onur and Tikk were very helpful and welcoming. Since having my car, i have had my MOT and full service done at the car centre and the service was really quick. Clinton Manchester I bought a VW Golf from yourselves last May, I found the sales and aftercare team to be polite, professional and friendly. There were a couple of issues after I had purchased the vehicle, but these were sorted very speedily. I felt that the aftercare was second to none, as in the past I have purchased vehicles from other car sales only to feel once they had my money that was the end of it. An excellent experience! The staff very incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. We were not pressured or exposed to the usual sales techniques, but instead they were attentive and understanding as to our personal requirements, preferences and budget. There was a great selection of cars to suit all and we managed to find the dream car for my wife. A limited addition black Alfa Romeo Giulietta, low mileage, red leather seats, one previous owner and most importantly a very good price. We would highly recommended paying them a visit.

I bought my first car here last week, it’s gorgeous. The guys were so friendly and genuine. Ona went out of his way to have extensive checks made on the car after a strange fault code flashed up. After spending an hour plugged in to the car with his computer the auto electrician confirmed it is, as promised, in perfect working condition. Cleared all the fault codes and I drove back to London beautifully. Thank you so much guys! I will be back in a year or two for another one hopefully. Brilliant

I purchased my Audi A3 at The Car Centre last weekend and was really pleased about the service I received. There was absolutely no hassle and no pressure to buy or look at more cars. I was left to myself, given keys to the cars I liked and there was no one there breathing down my neck to talk me into buying. The guys running the place are polite and the choice of cars is great. Enquired about a BMW 3 Series (2019) and was sent videos of the exterior and interior with a voiceover describing the paintwork and alloys as ‘immaculate’ and ‘as close to brand new you can ask for’ - I made the 1 hour long trip to view the car and within 5 minutes noticed one alloy was completely scuffed and the corner of the front bumper has clearly been bumped/scraped. Grateful for the videos, good first impression but left disappointed.

The only downfall was being sold a car with no petrol, which ran out on the way from the car centre to the garage. Bought a Seat Ibiza .,was initially very happy with the service and the car . 3 weeks after the warranty (only 3 months) ran out one of my front springs broke . I sent several emails asking for some goodwill assistance .No assistance ,no replies not even a very sorry but we don't do that . Shame really they seemed genuine .
