Last week we came to the restaurant for lunch, only ordered a cheesy chips, came out doused in salt, returned for another and the replacement came out with a hair in it, returned again for a replacement and a refund, refund was only a voucher. Today we returned for lunch, my food was okay this time, you managed to get a portion of chips right. However you did forget parts of my colleagues lunch, overdid the food for another. And yes, refused the return of a deposit because a dart broke. It bounced off of the metal rim and broke on the floor. But as you, the manager, explained anyone playing darts shouldn’t hit the rim as you don’t miss. So the regular group of 7 lads who come here each day wont be returning.

We held my sons school prom at the Drakes Drum last night. We booked the function room a few months back and took a chance if Boris would allow bigger gatherings/groups and even parties to go ahead. Lorri the manager has just been amazing from start to finish. I think we drove her mad at times stressing over what might be allowed and what might not but Lorri always kept us in the loop and up to date with everything. She even took time out of her day off to contact me about something and called me off her own personal mobile. She really does go above and beyond and because of Lorri we had 80 happy children last night who had the best prom and a night to remember. Would highly recommend the Drakes Drum for functions and Lorri we will be back. Whether it's for food or drink we will see you soon.

Just been in for the first time in a while, with family for some lunch. The bar staff are so nice and the landlady couldn’t do enough for us, made us really welcome. The food was such great value for money and a massive voice on the menu. We all had something we liked the jerk chicken salad was amazing I’ll definitely be going again as there’s lots of entertainment on as-well. It’s such a big pub inside and a massive function room upstairs. We are looking forward to our next visit

I recently had fish and chips at this pub, and I must say, it was fantastic for the price! The food was delicious, and I felt like I got my money's worth. The service was excellent too, with the staff paying close attention to our needs. The pub itself was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Me and my family ordered starters, mains, desserts and drinks, everything was up to standard and tasted great. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The DJ and atmosphere overall was fab. A huge thank you to Paige for making our night and providing a great service, we will all be visiting again soon.

Such a welcoming atmosphere. Nothing beats a good 'old fashioned' pub. Staff are so friendly, other customers so jolly, food was tasty and the sunshine helped. Plenty seating area outside aswell as inside. Definitely visiting again

We had the chance to sample some dishes off the new menu which were all delicious. Would recommend the hot mess starter and the beyond meat burger. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes!! Portions and prices are great value for money, especially with the deals that you can get.
