"I’m sure All the reviews of this little gem are sweet and about there very fair priced exquisite food and beautiful live music, and they are 100% true but the staff are also willing to have a laugh, after a couple blokes were being pigs they were on board with allowing us to send them all bj shots anonymously"
"What an amazing little pub"
"Called in today for lunch on a warm sunny day decided to sit outdoors off to the side of the building, great spot plenty of large umbrellas for shade, I had a steak sandwich and chips with garden salad & it was superb the steak was cooked to perfection and the chips were some of the tastiest I have ever eaten"
"Good location, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and live music"
We went Thursday evening live music night, it was very busy so I recommend booking before you go. We sat outside so couldn't hear first singer very well but 2nd one much louder, the music helped create a nice atmosphere. The guiness was good and everyone enjoyed their meals. The cost was approx $232 for a side of chips, 4 mains, 3 desserts, 2 pints of guiness, 3 halves of guiness and a bottle of cider. The guiness and beef pie was delicious. Our only gripe was the smokers literally a step out of the pub gate, if the wind had been blowing towards us it would have been most unpleasant but I don't know what can be done about that. Overall a pleasant evening and worth a visit with friends. The staff were friendly and efficient though we did leave without the coffee we paid for but we couldn't wait any longer . We will likely go again.

But in all seriousness the food was amazing and the atmosphere was Stella and as soon as they were aware there was a problem they dealt with them better than I thought possibly. The Guinness was flowing and the laughs were many and it was a good night.
What an amazing little pub. Tucked in the back streets of Mornington. Amazing music and staff. The food? Amazing. I've eaten some great pies across the UK, but their Beef and Guinness pie was at the top of my list. Beautifully crisp pastry and the filling was to die for. My only very tiny criticism, the salad needed a light dressing. But other than that. Happy full bellies at the end of our visit. Plates licked clean

Called in today for lunch on a warm sunny day decided to sit outdoors off to the side of the building, great spot plenty of large umbrellas for shade, I had a steak sandwich and chips with garden salad & it was superb the steak was cooked to perfection and the chips were some of the tastiest I have ever eaten. Wait staff were friendly and organised and very well presented I will be back, I would suggest though an oscillating fan be put in this area to help with air flow. Great Spot. Great food.
Good location, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and live music. Let down by having to wait over an hour for three meals, only eventually arriving 15 minutes after we mentioned to one of the staff who tried to take the salt and pepper from the table not realising that we hadn't been served! A table of 4 that came after us was also served before us. The food itself was pretty average for the price. Will go somewhere else next time we are in the area.
Great Irish pub which is my local My seafood chowder was delicious and my hubby had meat pie which was good too Service is good , the mulled wine was nice but the best was the gravy with the meat pie which I put on my bread because it was that good!

Been here on a couple of occasions over the years. I had a pint of Guinness. They overkill the amount of time it should sit for when it's not busy there. I ordered a bowl of chips and brown soda bread. I couldn't eat the chips, there was so much salt on them, and the bread was nothing like wholemeal bread. An Irish themed pub......if you're not Irish.

Came to The Dubliner after a below average experience at another Mornington venue. Was blown away by how friendly the staff were and how quick the service was. As the night wore on several staff stopped by to see how everything was and we were made to feel very welcome. Next time we’re out in Mornington we’re going to start the night here instead of just the last couple of hours!
Just had dinner at this little gem in Mornington , cosy and inviting Beef & Guinness pie was delicious. Pint of the black stuff to wash it down. We'd love to come back again .

This place is brilliant. We’ve been there a number of times, the staff are always fantastic. Very attentive, jovial and helpful. This evening was the best visit yet, as we booked a table during the evening when an excellent singer/guitar player performed. Absolutely quality artist, which just enhanced an already excellent environment. Highly recommend.
Found it on google so it’s only nice to leave a review. The food was delicious, great authentic pub meals with a great selection of drinks and beers. The curry chips was a highlight, we had the special Loin of Pork and that was so so delicious. Finished off with a traditional Irish coffee with a hint of whisky. Highly recommend!
These legends absolutely made my day! (And my partners) She was out and I was not, but that didn’t mean I couldn’t buy her a drink. After a little communication and some drink options I was able to get a cocktail to her table even though I was unable to be there. Amazing service and many brownie points scored! Priceless x
Great local bar with a proper setup for serving Kilkenny and Guiness unlike some bars that seem to ruin the flavour with their tap setup. The bar was bustling on a Saturday night as was expected, and there were plenty of gas heaters outdoors to keep you warm.

Just a cracker place, food was top-notch and well priced. The portions were a little light, they could do with 10% more. Amazing menu. Good tap beers and plenty of covered outdoor areas. Ya get to it via the rear carpark, behind main street.

A fun evening entertained by Irish group "Tri Na Cheile" and many visiting musicians. Great Craic Thri na cheile translated to English means"all over the place" which explains why numerous musicians come +play together IE jam session!! Excellent service and courteous staff …
An excellent little quaint restaurant bar serving Irish styled food, and drinks. In the evenings around 7:30 pm live music is played to entertain the guests. It's suggested to book a table, as it can get quite busy, especially at evenings. On the hole the food and entertainment was great.
Absolutely love this place, waiters are so nice especially Harry and Jack, they treated us with such kindness. Truely the best Irish pub on the peninsula with great food and service. Will be coming back again in the future

Homely little Irish bar (trust me i'm Irish). The owner is a true gentleman who makes you feel so very welcome. He stood and talked to me and my partner for a while and gave us a great back story of the area and the bar itself. Really is a great little nook in the heart of Mornington.
The risotto is my favorite, beer is great, trivia is fun.

Went in for a refreshing pint of the good stuff Guinness and was not disappointed at all. Very nice, the service was great to,just a pity I couldn't stay longer and tried a meal, because as they were coming out they looked delicious. …
Lunch was terrific. The meals were a little on the light side and were devoured quickly so I'd recommend several sides for your table. My mum and uncle enjoyed the quirky charm of the place and so did I. Cozy and intimate, good service and upbeat.
Went for a few refreshments never tried the food although from what I saw the portions were good . The DJ was outstanding and atmosphere was awesome.

Nice local with live music on Sunday. Meals looked very nice and the Guinness is great! There is an outdoor area with seating and heaters and lots of tables inside for a sit down meal. Worth a visit!
It’s my favourite place in Mornington for a home cooked style meal and positive vibes always. Get the chicken pie, it will not disappoint.
