While the attractions of the Nashville area have been awesome...the people we have met are even more special! One such example is “Eva” from The Falls restaurant at the Gaylord Opryland. She was our server and she was an incredibly compassionate and kind young woman! And, while the Christmas lights were amazing and awesome there...Eva was the brightest light we saw by far!! To our surprise when we were given our bill we found a beautiful note on it. “The food is on us...please continue to enjoy your special time together, Eva” It’s not about saving a few dollars on our bill...although we are grateful for that...it was all about the compassion and kindness we experienced from this restaurant and Eva. Thank you Eva...you just made our trip to Nashville a very special one indeed! (My wife of 44yrs recently died and my daughter and I were spending a weekend together to grieve)
Wow. The bartender hates his life, hates people, and perhaps the very fabric of existence itself. Shame on me for attempting to move a chair from an empty table so that my nine year old child would have a seat at our table. Never had someone in food service treat me like a toddler and yell at me and attempt to embarrass me from across a room. Why do people who absolutely hate people decide to choose a career where they are surrounded by and continually dealing with... people? Very poor and angry work culture and that starts at the top of the organization which means the management of this hotel is asleep at the wheel. Truly sad to see in what is an amazing technological and engineering feat of this large hotel.
Surpringly named and savory Sriracha-Maple Bourbon mixed nuts. Best mixed nuts I have ever had. They use premium crispy and large nuts, which already belittle other places. The unique flavor enriches the snacking experience, a bit sweet, a bit heat and a tiny bit of sea salty. They also serve Tuna Taki, an elegantly sliced tuna steak served in sushi style, a unique combination of Eastern and Southern styles. Paired with local Yazoo Hefeweizen draft from Nashville. And live afternoon country music. What else do you expect in a lounge bar. The best.
I had a really good old fashioned here. Well 3 of them. And listened to some great live music. What I could make over the loud cascading water fall. Super ambiance. Right past the checkin. Lots of fun people watching. Brandon seems like he had a bad experience and took it personally. Not worth a 1 star tantrum. Grow up Brandon. Deal with the waiter separately, is my opinion. Nice bar.
Waiting on the room to be cleaned, we entered the Fall bar area. Live music from Zach Neil and the service from Erin made the wait worthwhile. A appetizer of chicken salad, shrimp cocktail and California roll was all my party needed to top off an awkward waiting period. I suggest a trip to the falls bar for a meeting of friends and a late night meeting place.
Was on our way to do breakfast at the cascade cafe for $32 per person. Saw this was cheaper so we did it. The breakfast buffet is 26 bucks and it tastes like the complimentary breakfast at Holiday Inn. Everything was cold and they had just opened. The oatmeal and fresh fruit was good. It was a nice tropical waterfall setting.
Really busy and it's all packed here, but only one bartender and it was insane. We were waiting to pay and it took forever for them to even get our bill. Then after we hand in the card to pay, it took another 20 min for them to get back to us. It sucks and really affected the stay experience.
Service on Sunday night was pretty good. Some bartenders more friendly than others. Tonight (Tuesday) not as friendly. A bit of an attitude. For $15- $20 a drink be polite. Atmosphere is amazingly beautiful.

The Falls Bar & Lounge is a wonderful place to take in a chill relaxing drink, and the Cascades waterfalls makes for a really great atmosphere. Plus a shoutout to Eva who is simply the best for her fantastic service! Definitely check this place out if you're visiting the Opryland Hotel!
Wonderful little bar where you can sit and have a glass of wine or mixed drink and relax listening to the water fall while sitting amongst beautiful plants and other greenery. You can also get appetizers to go along with those drinks. Lovely way to spend time.
Went for some night after conference drinks. We had a very good service and the place is very beautiful. It’s a bit noisy and the acoustics are complicated if you want to have more conversation with your group.
Our server was busy but oh so nice. Great smoked trout dip served with light crispy crackers and veggies. Lost a star because the long island iced tea was not well blended- too heavy on Triple sec.
The Falls Bar and Grill in the Opryland Resort is a great venue to see Brandon Maddox and Meredith Maddox perform their awesome music. For me to go to a 5-hr show the performers have to be great!
Gorgeous view. Horrible service. My wine was watered down and gross. Our food was cold and took forever to come out. Everyone around us was becoming impatient with the lack of service.
Waited at the bar for 15 minutes and watched plenty get served before Me that came up after. Three girls and one guy and only the guy was waiting on those at the bar
Great time. Good service. Greta place to meet up with a large group.

The service was good but the breakfast buffet was not worth the $26 price tag, unless you really like runny scrambled eggs.
Had drinks here one afternoon. Small place and tends to be busy. Overall a nice spot to relax for a bit.
Courtney was OUTSTANDING and makes AWESOME drinks with AMAZING views inside the Opryland Hotel!
Okay breakfast buffet but complete lack of food menu after that. Great views of the waterfall.
Good food, generous portions. A bit expensive, but to be expected as it’s inside the hotel.
It was okay some of their mixed drinks was a little bit too strong
Fine restaurant/bar. Great entertainment (Darryl Lee O'Donnell.
The food was delicous and we had excellent service from Zach!
Decent place to relax, sip a beer, and people watch. Pricey.
Very limited menu, music too loud, and service very slow.
Love the ambience and the drinks weren't to expensive.
