Crowded Store with Inefficient Checkout Process I recently visited The Fashion Store, and unfortunately, my experience was not a pleasant one. I would like to share my feedback about the store, particularly regarding the checkout process. Firstly, the store was incredibly crowded when I visited. It was difficult to navigate through the aisles, and finding the products I wanted was a challenge. I understand that popular stores can get busy, but it seemed like the store was not adequately prepared to handle the influx of customers. The store had five cashier points, which initially gave me hope that the checkout process would be relatively quick. However, I ended up in a queue at the cashier with the exchange counter as well. This meant that not only did I have to wait for my turn, but also for customers who needed to exchange their purchases. It significantly prolonged the waiting time and added unnecessary delays. Regrettably, I had to wait in line for a staggering hour before it was finally my turn. The lack of a separate checkout counter for customers with fewer items further exacerbated the situation. It would have been more convenient if they had dedicated a specific cashier for quick transactions, allowing customers with fewer items to complete their purchases swiftly. Overall, I was dissatisfied with the checkout experience at The Fashion Store. The long waiting time, combined with the absence of a separate point of sale for customers with fewer items, made the process inconvenient and frustrating. I hope the store management takes this feedback into consideration and implements measures to improve their checkout efficiency and customer experience. Despite the checkout issues, I must acknowledge that the store had a wide selection of fashion items and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, unless the checkout process improves, I would hesitate to recommend The Fashion Store to others who value a swift and hassle-free shopping experience.

Prices are reasonable and affordable, there is a good selection of casual wear - shorts, jeans, t shirts, especially for different coloured plain T shirts required for school events. Love their night wear section where you can get unusual night wear that are luxurious and stylish, teddies, bodysuits and good quality panties and gym wear too. The kids collection and the men's collection are super cool. However, the biggest area to improve is there changing rooms, they are too small and cannot admire the clothes you wear at a good distance. Also they are not swept. No one is there to manage the long queues and people just cut in. The cashier counters are also super crowded. The jeans section in the ladies is always a mess and cannot find anything over there. Hoping to see an improvement in these areas the next time we visit.

The Fashion Store is an amazing place to buy fashionable and trendy clothes at affordable prices. I recently visited the store and was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of clothing options available. From casual wear to office attire, The Fashion Store has it all. The best part is that they offer branded clothes at prices that won't break the bank. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience even better. The clothes are of high quality and are very well-made. I was impressed by the attention to detail that went into each piece.

Reviewed on Oct 2020. Excellent location along the Duplication road close to Visaka Road. Mid-Size clothing store. The only store in Sri Lanka when you buy one get 2 free slogan attracts many customers. Selected Items are displayed for this offer. However, compared to the competition around price range is good specially for shirts and T-Shirts. Other items affordable prices for now. Good service, at the time there was no Que at the payment counter. Parking available for 3 to 5 vehicles around the building. More can be parked on the Duplication Road, may be not a good idea during school rush hour, anytime before and after are ok. They Except Credit Cards so payment is effortless.

Prices are at very reasonable rate intact it’s cheaper than the many other place. Have many branded clothes ( seems export rejected items ) , the quality looks good However , the shopping experience is very bad at the store, There we’re huge crowd and very little space to move around and very warm inside as the AC capacity is not suffice to cater, have waited 1 hour in the queue to make the billing. Parking is very limited and products were not stored in orderly manner . They have the large sizes dresses which start from XXXL , so could see many related customers over there If they provide good shopping experience they will be on top of the business soon.

The Fashion Store is a great place to find clothing within our budget. I’m giving four stars for one reason. Today, I have visited The Fashion Store Col 4 branch. In the ladies section near the fit on room, staff was bickering and bickering, I ended up with a headache. They continued the bickering all the time I was there. If it is their working issue they should have go to staff room and discuss about it. It is really disturbing to customers. This is not the first time I have noticed the same behavior. None of the customers were disturbing the others.

The store is spacious, although they were constructing when I went there. The clothes are affordable! And no one follows you and annoy you like other stores. This shop is create for kids clothes as they have a "discount" section where you can buy clothes for a very affordable price, however, examine before buying as a few of them are damaged (hence the price). The trial rooms are a bit small but overall, a great shop.

I had a great experience at The Fashion Store with its wide variety of clothes, excellent quality, and attentive floor coordinators. The cashiers were quick and efficient. However, the only drawback was the low air conditioning inside, which was noticeable, especially when the external temperature was around 36 degrees Celsius. Despite the fantastic offerings, the indoor comfort could be improved during hot weather.

Wide variety of clothes for very affordable prices. They have like modern, premium quality stuff for great deals. Place itself very clean and appealing. Always bit crowded place, so there are long queues for fitting rooms. One thing that I noticed is even though they have wide variety of designs, they have less size variations for each designs. Other than that it's a great place to shop.

If you love fashion and clothing. You must visit here. You can have a eally convenient shopping for your purse. You can buy lot of cloths which match to your fashion but for the cheapest price. There are cloths for ladies gents and kids, specialy there is a plus size collection which has huge discount. Staff also friendly nice. Location is 5 min walking distance from Bambalapitiya MC.

There's a good collection of men's , lady's, kid's clothing items here. Prices are very reasonable. Quality lady's blouses can be purchased at a price below Rs 2500)-. ( March 2023) Parking is available only for a very limited number of vehicles. Paid parking slots are available in front and near the store. The staff is helpful. They said that there's another big shop in nugegoda.

Not so impressive collection to be honest. Prices are really cheap. They got some offers too but expect some defective clothes there. Try to fit on everything you get because the sizes didn't seem standard. They don't seem to have the average sizes usually. I've always found the plus sizes available but not the large or medium or small. Men's collection seemed fine.

One of the better clothing stores in Bambalapitiya. Affordable pricing, Very good store with nice clothing choices for both men and women. TFS is a good place to find good quality garments for reasonable price. They have branded clothing for the fraction of the price. There is a huge collection of Moose apparel as well. TFS good for Mens casual wear, They have nice collection of Denims, Chinos, shorts and T shirts. Ladies section also got casual wear,party wear and some office wear as well.

This shop has quality B grade clothes. Can usable for considerable duration. And not wear off like most clothes I have tried from high end stores. Really recommend to buy from this one. Most important thing is this store has good range of plus size clothes, which really hard to find within SL shops. I know the struggle since I’m a plus size one.

Finally PRIMARK Type Store in Sri Lanka. Cheapest Price for clothes for Men, Women and Kids. They do offer for B Grade type clothings in Discounted price or “Buy 1 Get Free” Options. They do have so many offers during festive season and off season as well. Helpful Staffs but During Peak time you have to wait in Cashier Queue for Long.

They have stuffs for everyone in their own budget. But would be happy if the "buy 1 get 2" items are given exactly as in their advertisements. Because got a bit of disappointment; the T shirts they shared in their social media pages as for 'buy 1 get 2" offer are hanged to be sold solely with a different price in the store.

Because of the offers (which are very confusing actually) it's too crowded. The AC aren't properly located for pretty warm in some places. Also u gotta stay in very long the queue for checking out, and the line moves extremely slow. Clothes are alright for the price, many have defects so have check thoroughly before buying

It is one of the place where can get a good shopping experience in clothing in Colombo with affordable prices and space for parking. They have varieties of collections for ladies, gents and kids. Something I noted is, it is bit difficult to go to the 1st floor to make the payments, better if it is in the ground floor.

Clothings are comparatively cheap, and you should check the quality and damages before purchasing! Nice interior and well structured place , they don’t have a single chair to take rest or sit . We went while fasting we had to sit on the stairs, disappointed on this . They should put some chairs on each floor .

The store is really cheap and it has a good collection. But check twice before you buy cause some of them have small damages. i prefer the nugegoda branch than the bambalapitiya one. The Nugegoda branch is neat and it has a huge collection. And convenient for shop us. They also have a plus size collection.

There are cheap clothes for ladies and the variety of the collection is also good. However, the staff is unfriendly and annoying. Not enough fit on rooms in the ladies section. Despite that staff doesn't let you to try the tops on. This is the first time I have faced that in a clothing store.

One of the better clothing stores in Colombo. Affordable pricing, a good verity of labels and offers. They have something for everyone, ladies, gents & even for kids. The staff is a bit indifferent and couldn't be bothered. The store is in 3 levels. Enough parking in front of the store.

From the start i had a bad experience today. Bag counter 01 man doesnt know to treat customer .he is talk like a cowboy. After that their sales mans doesnt know how to sell their products.even they doesnt know how to talk to customers. Finally i decide to never visit again.

Cloths are very cheep. Most of them are rejected items from the factories so before you purchase them make sure to check carefully as some of them cant be returned . Also if you are shopping in fridays avoid 12- 1 pm as the shop is closed for prayers.

If you wish to buy export quality garment rejected cloths then this is the place. Most of them are branded items sold on normal prices, offers and discounts therefore high traffic store. Corporative staffs, multiple try-on changing rooms.

Went there yesterday and it was too crowded. There was a huge line to the fiton room so was going to try on the only dress which seemed okish outside the fiton room over the dress I was wearing but the sales girl didn't let me. … තවත්

There's a good collection. Some clothes are worth for the price. Seems like there are some clothes that are rejected. So, be very careful and fiton them before buying. Because the sizes are different than the usual ones we wear.
