"Its now reopened for the summer season "
"Posting here as I was initially confused as to whether the water park was open or not — I checked in with CoV staff via the chat section of the website and they said that the park does close occasionally when for whatever reason they can’t guarantee no runoff from the park into the ocean, but for the most part they just send staff in each day to mitigate this and keep the park open if/when it happens because they know how much families love this place"
"Don’t go here right now, we went this past weekend (June 25 and 26) and it’s closed"
"Possibly the worst children's water park ever"
I just wanna let people know that this water park is closed until further notice. I went with my kids' school field trip yesterday (June 24/2022) and all the kids were super excited to play in this water park. It was a very warm day, and when the kids were getting ready to play, it hit us with the disappointing news that the water park was closed. Many other schools planned field trips to this place and got disappointed as well. We managed still to move our school to spend time by the beach area. Kids still had lots of fun. I just felt that some headups on the website would have been more helpful.
Its now reopened for the summer season . Its a nice retro kids playground that even i enjoyed as a child and its free this waterpark . Its got Washrooms/change rooms . Its got a little beach next to it too . Its got a concession stand nearby . And its got plenty of green grass for picnics . Its very clean area here . Historical information to add This area here originally had a west coast native Squamish village pre Stanley Park days one of many back then here . There is parking around and public bus transportation nearby at the Stanley Park bus loop were the kids train is

In short: the splash park is open, and I can confirm it, since we had a lovely time there today! Happy summer :)
Don’t go here right now, we went this past weekend (June 25 and 26) and it’s closed. Google still says it is open but you could feel the disappointment in the air hanging like a cloud as on the hottest weekend of the summer so far, families had flocked to the splash park in hopes of some respite from the heat. Really pathetic and lame on Vancouver’s part, which is expected but still, I mean come on now.
Possibly the worst children's water park ever. The water is always on full blast, it has no aesthetics at all, nothing to interest children. It's almost like the people who own the bar don't want the area in front of their patio full of screaming children having fun. A colossal waste of public money.
Added bonus, right beside the splash park is this amazing little beach. Can’t beat a hot day at the beach with the family, strolling over to the splash park, maybe getting some concession snacks! This is deep enough into the park that it’s always less crowded than other parts of the park.
Fun place for kids. They have a few water canons, a waterfall, mist poles. Etc. Close to a nice green area for picnics. Closest parking area has about 10 spots, so pretty limited. Further East there's another parking area, but on a nice hot day the place is packed.
Very nice splash park. Why not 5 stars? Maybe for the lack of something, hard to say what exactly but I’ll still come back and recommend! Great pleace for kids. They(kids)can get busy for hours.

Eu achei o máximo! Muitas crianças brincando, agua para refrescar num dia lindo de sol. Pertinho tem os banheiros e um ponto para comprar um lanchinho e aliviar a canseira de caminhar na longa calçada do Stanley Park.
Nice little water park! I wish I had brought the kids swimsuits, since they even have a place to change and rinse off. Push one of the buttons around the edge of the park to get the water started flowing.
It is a great facility, my child had so much fun there, every where was clean, there was enough chairs for parent to rest while their children are playing. Have access to food shopping as well.
Better wear flip flops as park hasn’t been resurfaced in a decade. Sharp gravel and pealing paint abound. To top it off the water shut off after 15 minutes on a hot Friday afternoon!
Not operating yet it is during operating hours during the season of operation. No help from 311

Great place to take the kids to cool off! Seating is hard to come by though. Bathroom are really gross!! Food at the little place at the top of the hill is alright.
The park has an amazing view buy it is in desperate need of a makeover. It's dated and feels a bit grimy. It's ok for the kids to have a play on a hot day.
In Saturday Jun 25 2022 I coming this park with my 3 years old grandson park was closed how bad and silly i this hot weather!!! CITY OF VANCOUVERU SHAME!!!
Beau petit parc d’eau. Un peu occupé avec des enfants de camps d’été.

I love this water area. It can get super busy as well as the parking. Parking can cost you a couple happy meals but it’s worth it.
Fun, basic water park that will keep you cool! The best novelty is the human sized, walk-through dryer that can be found nearby.
Been coming here for at least 15 years and it’s still one of the best. The large walk-through dryer is clearly a highlight.
Nice place for kids during hot summer. Plenty of benches for the elderly. Access to washrooms and water fountains
Great splash park: nice equipment for kids to play on, lots of sitting space around, changing rooms.
The Big Elf Run is the amazing annual event that is making December so special at Stanley Park!
It's closed ... very annoying... under repairs... thanks city of Vancouver for my child's day.
Little fun park accessible to all and lots of splash areas for kids.
Nice one. Short beach area bedside it; waves' sound helps relaxing.
Lovely splash park in Stanley Park, kids have tons of wet fun!
101 out of 10 this was amazing time with my kids and boyfriend
Absolutely soaked here, made the rest of the run much colder.
C’est génial d’avoir accès à ce parc gratuitement !
Good place to spend time learning about the past.
Beautiful area, nice bathroom and great views.
The water fountains are fun for the kids.
Maybe the best splash pad in the country
Refrescante, frente al océano, familiar
Closed for maintenece as of 10/7/2022
Perfect for kids on a warm summer day
Um ótimo local para levar crianças.
Our baby enjoys playing there a lot
Best water park in the city
