We had our engagement party in their upstairs function space, and it was honestly one of the BEST nights. James and his team are beyond accommodating, from allowing us to modify the canapés menu to match our preference to ensuring our guests with dietary requirements had options to allowing us to come early to set up some decor in their function space, the staff at Foxtrot went above and beyond to ensure our event went smoothly. The food was honestly the most delicious canapés I’ve ever had, our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. And the cocktails and drinks were exceptional, after five hours of drinking I woke up without a hangover, goes to show the top quality alcohol they serve. Their service on the day was top notch, they cleared away glasses and plates quickly, and were constantly coming up to check in on us and take our drinks order. I cannot recommend Foxtrot enough if you’re looking for a space to hold your event. The space is beautiful, the service is exceptional, and the food is beyond delicious. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about what a wonderful venue it is and how much fun they had! Thank you James and his team for making our engagement party so memorable.

We held our 50th Birthday Party at The Foxtrot a few weeks ago. James and his amazing crew took great care of my 80+ guests. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. Everyone commented on the fantastic venue, the food, the staff. Every wish was accommodated and to be honest we left the organisation entirely to James, from the run sheet of events like when to make speeches to the Fabulous cake and when to start the Dancing! I am so glad we chose this venue over the tired typical RSL or stuffy club where you do not get value for your money. We’re already planning for our next event, 25th Anniversary in a couple of years! The best customer service I have received at a bar. As soon as we got there, the door man was very friendly and polite. We came in an hour and a half earlier then our reservation time and they were very accommodating. We were immediately greeted by a gentleman in a white shirt that seated us by the door. Eventually we were moved to a table upstairs as soon as one was available. The server we had knew the menu in and out and had lots of great recommendations. We typically have one drink and then head to the next place but because of the great customer service we have received, we stayed until they closed. Impressed with the team here and would highly recommend! We would definitely return. Thank you for a great night!

The unassuming entrance opens up to a pretty lowkey and chill space. Atmosphere tends towards the dark and intimate, with the music not-too-loud-to-drown-out conversation. Bar is partitioned into three sections, the bar deck, the seating section and an upstairs balcony area. The bar staff are polite and very friendly. Cocktails are pretty good - honourable mention to the Strawberry Sunset, but the highlight was the WTF, which was refreshing and spicy. ^_^ Prices are probably a smidge on the up side, but in line with CBD cocktail bars. P.S. try their homebrewed Ginger Beer!

Outstanding venue, best cocktails on the north shore. Had a great atmosphere on a Saturday night with dj Jamie playing. The team of Jerome, Simon, Luke, Jordan and Rex make you feel well looked after and are always up for a friendly chat, while the passion and energy of James and Lauren really set the tone for what the venue is all about. The Foxtrot was a great find! It's dark and cavernous, which is kinda moody. The charismatic server let us know some history of the building, including that it was a brothel in a previous life. Food was good quality but a bit expensive. We had the weekly special - deliciously charred and rare. I would recommend this place for couples eluding the main drag, or small groups for event hire. The spaces look great.

Wow. What a surprise. The welcome and the service from the foxtrot is second to none. The owner works the floor beautifully, pays attention to detail but does not intrude. We came to a function at the Foxtrot last night. What a gem this place is! I wish I knew about it sooner. Great cocktail list and the staff were absolutely wonderful. I didn't catch the names of the two young men who were serving at our function however they should be commended for their outstanding customer service. They were delightful and really made our night special.

Our first time at the Foxtrot Inn to check out the new Chef's Kitchen menu and had no idea how cool this space was! It's like a cross between a speakeasy and English pub. The Chef's Kitchen team have brought the comfort food favourites from their food truck like massive meaty burgers, loaded fries, and amazing wings. Could be some of the best wings we've had.

An amazing night and such a beautiful venue that is cozy yet sophisticated, paired with a fantastic drinks selection and delicious food, compliments to the chef and the servers who made our family night celebration a night to remember! Highly recommend to all

I came here last night after reading the great reviews. The waiters were all very nice although not that attentive. It was difficult for us to get their attention to order food. The bill was $120 and was extremely average. Cold steak, soggy cold fries, weak drinks, and below average Katsu burger. Quite disappointed overall and will not return.

There is a good choice of food – from nibbles to something more substantial and everything we tried was amazing. Plenty of drinks to choose from too. Cocktails are hands down the best in Crows Nest. Headed in after a dress up party with a group of 10. Despite our party size and costumes they found us an area straight away and took our orders. Cocktails there are always first class, but their service is even better. So nice not having to deal with rude bouncers too.
