Early Oct 2022 weekday morning. Nicely managed multi vendors mall. Staff are attentive and helpful all along, al the time. Early Dec, 2022 defore weekend. Still get many clients and visitors. But the radio Max 97.7 PA volume is bit annoyingly loud to me. Starting with 10, 20, 30% season or holly day sale discount. May be more on 24th but now quality inventories are depleted. 2023 summer may be the best time to see them again. Mid June 2023, weekday. A phenomenon observed at many recent month's visits to Vintage and Antique malls, baby-boomer vendors and patrons are retiring fast and in bulk. The more my visit, the less I might get ! A recent purchase of a Hummel school girl figurine got a bad experience. A poorly repaired broken neck concealed by the string hanging price tag charged for $25 ! The defect was only discovered back home after unwrapping. This time the artifact was not described nor the shopkeeper doing due diligence advising customers as before!??
Antiques done right. First, no admission fees or parking fees. Controlled entry due to current health regulations and it is enforced. Keep that in mind if your a party of 5 and 2 people walk out. You’re not all getting in at the same time. There are other companies sharing the parking lot, some sure to check them out too! Staff were very friendly and always nearby for handing off items to be picked up at the cashier. Inside was very clean, including the bathrooms. The condition of antiques here is what you would expect for indoor facilities. Lots of display cabinets and little collectibles. Not too much in the way of bigger furniture. Some vendors have grandmas basement on display, and a lot of Corningware and cookware. Not much man cave stuff. There are stairs only for the upper level. Cashier and checkout have clear markers for social distancing measures. 1 couple or family per booth is easy to do with limited capacity.
One of the better antique malls I’ve been to. Located near Puslinch, Ontario, this antique market has a variety of vendors who sell all sorts of things. Including hockey cards/jersey, old Nintendo games/gaming systems, antique books, comics, clothing etc. there is something for everyone here. It’s a very large place you’ll definitely want to leave a few hours to go through all of it. There is around probably 300 separate vendors, selling all sorts of treasures. Plenty of parking to go around, debit machines and cash are both acceptable forms of payment so don’t worry there is no need to stop by an atm on the way there. The staff come up to you and offer to keep items you are interested in purchasing at the cash for you so you can roam around searching for various treasures hands free. Definitely worth the drive and will be back again.
It's a great place. I've been going for years, and there's always something that I end up leaving with. It's 2 floors of vendors - each one has their own booth. Lots to go through and lots of variety. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - they can point you in the direction of whatever it is you're looking for, they offer to take items to hold for you down to the cashier. I always find it an enjoyable day. One thing that I do wish was some flexibility in pricing - the items are definitely in the mid-to-high range, and it's also odd to find the exact item in 2 booths but priced differently - sometimes with a wide difference. Overall the place is easy to find, great hours, great staff and great selection!
Very diverse set of shops with lots of selection. The staff are very friendly and will hold items for you so you don't have to carry everything with you. Given the place is filled with multiple vendors prices may very on the same or similar items. I do recommend checking this place out if you're into antiques. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is just because the hallways and booths are a smidge narrow and if you were mobility impaired it could be problematic. Definitely check it out though. This place is also beside "Rescued and Restored" which you should also check out.
Had a great time at this mall . This was one of those places that your not going to see everything in one say . And there is a bounus to this flea market out front is a fantastic place thats a non profit and there supporting a great cause in there community . Really beautiful people run the place ánd some really fantastic deals you can find . It relly is a great sarm up for the fleamarket . Peolpe with walkers and carts can easly move around one the first floor of both places and theres enough on those floors to keep you busy for at least 4hrs.
2022.02.05 After more than a year another visit... Antique Time. 2020.10.23. The second visit. My daughter is in love with the place. In fact it is a nice Antique Mall. 2020.09.04. The second stop today was at "The Freelton Antique Mall" in Hamilton. It was my first visit. Great place for people who loves antiques. You can find a variety of many many many things. It is true when we hear that junk on your side is a treasure on the other side. Thank you @snapturethis for the recommendation.
I originally posted a review 3 years ago, but having visited again recently i would like to say this place is still great ☺️ very classic musty smell which i honestly find endearing Huge place! So much to look at, so many booths with different varieties of things. Most of it is your usual run-of-the mill antique shop stuff. Nothing wrong with that! A few unique finds, and mostly at fair prices in my opinion. Will be back ASAP, especially as their hours are very good!
I had an amazing time here. It was super organized and had some really great finds. They have sanitizer at the door and everyone was wearing masks. I went on a Friday morning and it was not busy. Prices are reasonable compared to others and lots of vendors to compare prices with. A wide range of items and easy to go through. Employees walk around and offer to set things at the front for you. Bathrooms are open and was told by my fam members that they are clean.
Pleasent location, well laid out with individual booths and cabinets for the vendors. Attentive staff who are happy to help. Lots of the same items, glasses, figurines, bric brac in the booths, but prices seemed quite a bit higher than at other antiques markets. Still worth a look. Our friends, who collect, found a few items for their collections, so from that I can say that this market has something to offer for even the 'seasoned' antique market goer.
It's your typical small town consignment antique market. There's usually always something for everyone! It has 2 floors, unfortunately it is a little bit tight in some places and it only has stairs so it isn't very ideal for people with scooters/wheelchairs or big walkers.... But there are main isles that can be checked out!! It's a pretty big place with lots of treasures so plan to spend a bit of time looking around. You'll be happy you did!
Amazing place Hugh barn filled with small cubicals of seperate owners. But well managed. Maley was a good kid always roaming to help out. Had a nice system .. you pay at the cashier and they knew the item owner. So if you find the price was high in one shop keep walking you find a good deal in another may be upstairs vendor. Keep lot of time go with a friend. Clean and well organized place will go again soon. Bought a license plate love it.
Awesome place for treasure hunting! You never know what you'll find at the Freelton Antique Mall. 1970s Tupperware? Check. Pocket watches? Check. Funky 1960s clothing? Check. Vintage Christmas decor? Check. There's something for everyone! you won't be disappointed; I promise! It's a fabulous way to spend a couple of hours. If you haven't checked it out yet, you definitely should! And if you have, then It's definitely time to go back.
I have been here visiting this place a few times. I noticed they have a nice selection of items to buy. They have items that people bid on. I bought a 12 piece set of dishes, that matched my old set. It was Bone China. It's a nice place to walk around and look. The staff were very nice and helpful. I check their website to see when they're open and close. They have free parking with a Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lots and Entrance.
Amazing store, they have a variety kinds of antique china like plates and cups, some of them are really famous brands. We went there last weekend and stayed for like two and half hour and my girlfriend got some really nice shelley coffee cups and plates, amazing good condition. I also got some Japan Noritake plates. Really nice place, price is relatively fine compared with other stores, just a bit of far from Toronto.
We have been coming here for years! NO more! Recently my husband purchased a comic from a 1st floor vendor and it was damaged inside. No attempt to offer a replacement and it cost just under $100.00 Caveat emptor there are thieves and immoral people there! We learned the hard way that is for sure and will never return, there are plenty of places to visit shame on the “owners” of the market too.
The experience alone is a really great one! Wall to wall collectibles and decor. It's in a 2 story; well kept, barn. We usually spend a couple of hours here so we don't miss a thing. There is quite a large selection of antiques by multiple vendors here. The selection is always changing and they can usually reach the vendor pretty quickly if you wish to ask questions or negotiate price.
Lots and lots of very unique smalls. Some really eye opening prices. Staff helpful. Was a wonderful way to spend a few hour with a good friend. Sad to see that the restaurant is no longer there. All and all was such a nice treat to see so many interesting items under one roof. Will definitely be come back on many occasions. That's for being apart of my wonderful day. Christopher Fish
Great hidden gem for antique hunting. Some of the sections/stalls are curated with a theme (e.g old tins, tea cups, cameras) while others are a mix of items. Pricing is pretty fair - all depends on what you’re looking for. Staff circulate to help if you want to view an item in a locked cabinet or set an item at the front while you keep browsing. Definitely will be coming back here!
I spent a very enjoyable morning here, browsing the dozens of stalls. Displays were well laid out, prices were fair. Lots of treasures, something for everyone. I appreciated the service from associates walking the aisles, asking if they could take your purchases to the cash counter for you. I was looking for a special and specific collectible, I found not only one but two!
Highly recommend Freelton Antique Mall! I always find interesting things to add to my collections. The store offers a wonderful mix of all kinds of things - something for everyone. The sales help is friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. I feel that the pricing is fair. Very clean and well organized. If you love antiques and vintage, definitely plan a trip.
Fun place to spend an afternoon if you like browsing and finding unique things. My wife and I found some lovely antique wooden framed windows. We also purchased an antique violin for our daughter. Old door handles, hinges. Man there are so many neat vendors here and it is okay to bargain for the price that suits you. Make sure you pick a day that they are open.
If you are coming from out of town for just this mall id suggest you plan on checking out other local places. This mall is large but doesn’t have very much variety having mostly small knickknacks and kitchenwares. I found the prices higher than most places. Still a lovely staff and very organized. I’d say the highlight is wool blankets and Linens.
Probably one of the best antique markets I've been to in a while. They have 2 floors full of vendors. The prices are fair, some a bit high. It took us a few hours to get though it all. The staff are really nice; always offering to bring our stuff to cash until we're ready to pay. They also have a cafe in case you want a bite to eat.
There is a wide selection of antiques. The place is big so you would need an entire day to view all items in detail. There is a good selection of jewelry at great prices. I have really enjoyed my visits. Whenever I am looking for something vintage and unique, this is the place I come to first, you just never know what you will find.
Lots of cool stuff to look at, but a lot of the booths are basically the same stuff in a different layout. Upstairs is very VERY WARM in the summer, making the old musty smells of paper and fabric overwhelming at times. Floors are uneven and cramped upstairs, so if you have issuea with clausteophobia or vertigo, beware.
Fun to visit, as always. You never know what you're going to find. Some of the patrons could have been a lot more mindful of the requests to keep your distance because of covid-19 social distancing. But most of the people were very respectful. The staff here works really hard to make sure your experience is a great one
Really wanted to be able to give more stars because Antique Malls in Southern Ontario are far and few between. Now here's the "but", it is dingy, poorly lite, musty smelling and doesn't have enough well curated booths. It was a very unwelcoming space for so many reasons. Unfortunately, it was our first and last time.
I absolutely fell in love with The Freelton Antique Mall! It is clean, bright and well staffed so you can peruse at your willing! I found two fantastic cameras, one Kodak Vigilant and the other is a Brownie Hawkeye I hope you have a special treasure that you will find at The Freelton Antique Mall! …
There are so many booths to explore with a great variety of antiques from tools, toys, books collectibles and much more. The place is very well run with friendly staff constantly walking around to ensure there is always someone available to help. Highly recommend for an afternoon.
Whenever I go there is always new merchandise. They have a great selection of vintage and some antiques. Great place to visit every month. Nice staff, but different owners who are not on site. No negotiations unless it is very expensive. Still a great place to pick up smalls.
Great place to find vintage and antiques over 200 vendors that rent space but are not there so you can shop without being hustled like at a flea market. Open Wednesday to Sunday every week. Every February they have a mall wide sale. Free parking easy access from the highway.
I just love visiting thus antique shoppe. One huge building with a 2nd floor balcony filled with lots of treasures. Prices vary so check each booth for the best prices. I always walk out with something for my collection.
Super kind staff, great selection and great prices. If you go here bring water and expect to be there all day. You’ll need it to take everything in! This antique store has a lot more decore items, rather than furniture.
Amazing selection, and the perfect spot to go if you're looking for vintage Christmas ornaments! Employees are super attentive and friendly. Definitely will be back to browse through all that vinyl! …
We’ve been going to this antique mall for years now and absolutely love it! There are 250 plus vendors on 2 floors with so much to see. It’s like a treasures hunt each time you visit. We’ve never left empty handed!
Have been going to this antique market for years. Absolutely love it! Lots of varied items - something for everyone. Like walking down memory lane, so many things reminding me of my childhood. Worth a visit!!
This place is AMAZING. One small busy washroom so pee before you get there! I am sure if you are looking for something specific, you'll probably come across it here or just find something you're in love with
We love the Freelton Antique Market! We took our Grandson there today. He is Special Needs and just loves poking around the stalls. After lunch at Dutch Mill, it was the perfect family activity. Thank you!
The best one of these places I've ever been to. I thought about not posting a review because I wanted to save this place for myself haha. I didn't plan on buying much but I couldn't help it. Phenomenal.
Love this antique mall! You will definitely need a few hours to browse everything. Prices depend on the seller, some booths are more expensive than others, but you'll have no problem finding a deal!
Always a must stop, and the sales you can catch are always great. Nice variety of items, always nice, open, and clean. I always debate getting my own booth because it's a great place to be.
We've visited many times and always come home with amazing finds. The vendors price everything very fair...it's impossible to walk out empty handed or with less than a handful of things!
Very loud and not great music. People were shouting at each other to be heard. Left with a headache…didn’t like it…too much vintage and high prices not many antiques very disappointed.
I love the place! Very accessible and vibes are very nice, staffs are very kind and accommodating. I will definitely go back to look and find some other things. Great day spent indeed
I've bought a few things there recently and plan on selling some items there soon. I've found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Great staff hope to become a dealer there soon.
Lots of houseware items , great place to visit on a rainy day. Debit on sight. Find something you like and grab it, everything is numbered so they know what booth it came from!
A lot of vintage stuff here. Mostly home décor, cookware, drinkware and jewelry. Found marble jar reminds me of playing marble games from my childhood. Definitely, come again!
Not much here but and the staff never leave you alone they're looking after like you're their to steal Most of the stuff here is strictly collectible not worth a trip
Amazing variety of great antique pieces! I found what I was looking for! Good prices, great service and wonderful products. Will be definitely back to get more!
This is a really cool antique shop with lots of fascinating finds. Associates are friendly and the store is organized. I just loved looking at all the trinkets.
SUCH a gem. My mom and I have been going here for years. One hour in here and you’ve already had the best day :) Staff is always extremely nice and helpful :)
Great vintage antique store, tons of items, huge variety! 2 floors full of items, most items are well priced Tons of fine China, vintage Pyrex and Corningware
Highly recommended antigue shopping. Each booth has interesting items that will catch your eyes. Some are affordable others are a lil expensive for my budget.
Love this place! It's just a great antique store that you can spend all day going around and the staff are all very chatty and basically amazing!
We go here a few times a month. Two floors with plenty of booths for treasure hunting. Nice weather today meant the place was quieter than usual.
So many great finds here. Check it out if you are looking for old stuff and it’s anything from toys to furniture to dish ware and ww2 items.
Very good antique market. Lots of variety. Heavy on the kitchenwares though. Well maintained and clean facility. Had a great time visiting
lots of vendors. good selection. mostly small collectibles. they dont really have furniture or large pieces. neat and organized.
It is an amazing antique store with many things I have bought a number of things there and I highly recommend this spot
A place with friendy staff, if you like antqiues its the prefect place, there are prices of a little bit of everything.
Really great place and friendly staff. Being 2 levels of vendors, you'll be here for a long time as it's quite large!
Amazing finds for weddings/ functions prices vary. There is so much to look at though, be prepared for hours of fun!
The staff is readily available to open up locked cabinets and answer any questions. Most items are negotiable.
This is my favorite place Best antique mall. Staff are a axing always friendly. Very clean well organized.
It is a place that will take several hours here. You should be able to discover something interesting.
Lots of really great finds and very fairly priced too. Definitely somewhere I'd like to visit again
This is one of my favourite antique places to go to! It always has so many interesting things!
What a trip down memory lane...a hidden gem... puns aside, tons of merchandise for all ages.
Always a great spot to visit to go antiquing or hunting for that special off the cuff item.
Found some great antiques there. All the staff in the red plaid shirts were very friendly.
Lots of great things to see. Lots of space to walk around display cases. Helpful staff.
Large selection very clean and organized. Great staff also. One of my favorite Markets
Great variety of items to browse through with friendly staff in a clean environment!!
Really good range of different antiques. Easily an hour or two to view each booth.
Lots of selection. A good way to spend a day exploring.
Friendly staff and so many beautiful treasures.
Lots to see. No air conditioning, but not bad.
