We are extremely happy with our choice of the Girls School of Austin for our two daughters. The school has given the girls amazing opportunities and is helping our daughters develop into confident, intellectual young women. We originally chose the school because our oldest daughter was not thriving at the local public school. Moving to the GSA was instrumental in improving her relationship to the school environment and her excitement about education. Both our children are now in the middle school and the experience and education continue to be excellent. The things we love the most about the school: a supportive community of wonderful families that value academic pursuit, challenging curriculum accompanied by amazing teachers who will go the extra mile to make sure your child is engaged and learning, integration of art, music, and Spanish, and a supportive cohort of classmates with the attitude that learning is cool!

Our daughter entered the GSA at 6th grade and has had an incredible experience over the last 1.5 years. We wish we go there sooner! The girls have been inclusive socially (as well as the parents). The curriculum is advanced and challenges the girls in an appropriate manner, based on their capabilities. We really wanted our daughter to come out of her shell and the school has offered her that chance: speaking at all-school morning meetings, performing with the school orchestra for concerts, being part of the annual play, etc.....we have been delighted with our experience. Most importantly, our daughter is happy to go to school each day and comes home content. She is growing and maturing. We highly recommend this school to others!

We sent both of our daughters to the Girls' School K-8 and couldn't be more inspired by their journey. The school is one of a kind with incredible teachers and a fantastic program that blends academics with an understanding of the whole child. Our daughters leave with a sense of who they are and how they want to walk in this world. Austin needs more of these type of educational opportunities!

A wonderful school with a talented group of teachers and involved parents. The best advert for the school has to be the 8th Graders who graduate every year as an incredibly confident, creative, and supportive group. Just be careful where you park otherwise one of the neighbors might write a one star review!

My daughter is 12 and has been at the Girls’ School of Austin since Kindergarten. The best decision we ever made. She is a strong, independent girl who has not just been taught by faculty and staff, but loved and respected by them as well. Can’t give it enough stars!

Horrible neighbors. Employees park in the neighborhood despite the pre build promises of minimal impact. They used to make an effort not to impede traffic, but no longer. And the city wants to add more commercial property?

I go here and it is an amazing school with the greatest learning environment ever! I love all the teachers who challenge you and make sure no one falls behind!
