"THIS IS THE WORST CHURCH IVE EVER BEEN TO!!!! I went there to talk to Doug Wens and all he told me to do is study the bible, i spent weeks studying the bible and when i finally went back to the church they told me i had to give them my life savings and then join their cult, i went to my first Sunday service and as soon as i walked in i saw everyone dressed in white clothing"

THIS IS THE WORST CHURCH IVE EVER BEEN TO!!!! I went there to talk to Doug Wens and all he told me to do is study the bible, i spent weeks studying the bible and when i finally went back to the church they told me i had to give them my life savings and then join their cult, i went to my first Sunday service and as soon as i walked in i saw everyone dressed in white clothing. All i wanted out of this was to get closer to my lord and savior jesus christ but every time i went i got more and more uncomfortable. they all say they would pray for me but my life seems to get worse and worse the more i go there. DO NOT COME TO THIS CHURCH IT IS A CULT AND THEY WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE!!!!!
I love this church/group of believers in Christ. Nothing that has people involved is perfect: schools, hospitals and yes, even church, but what I have noticed about this church is they don't try to hide their imperfection. Instead, we daily plot the course as best we can according to the Bible, especially Jesus teachings. We are open about our failings, dreams and insecurities, so we can get help, direction and encouragement.
This has been my home church since moving to Houston for college in 2010. The community is strong and the love for God and one another is deep! I’m honored to be a part of this family and am excited to see how God will continue to use this church in Houston!
I spent many years in this fellowship. Though I'm in a different city now, I enjoy seeing so many close friends when I visit. No church is perfect, but there is at least a genuine desire to hold to the scriptures and to love each other sincerely.
This is a warm body of believers who are true disciples who have great compassion for their community and local university. Great leadership, and love the young pastor, Graham Baskin and his wife Taonga.
