Total Rip Off!! By no means luxurious! Don't be deceived by false advertising! I checked out early due to how cheap it feels with flat energy!! I could have stayed in crown towers!! Immediately upon arrival my expectations were seriously deflated. For an asking price of over $400 a night I expected luxury. Checked out a day early with no refund after I even paid more for an upgrade since they would not refund me and I was stuck there! Uncomfortable bedding! Nothing glamerous or special! No pool! Underwhelming for the price which is VERY steep and unreasonable I thought! Prepare to spend a small fortune upfront and no refunds! I expected beach views! They wanted $818 for 2 nights in immaculate yet otherwise very ordinary complex! Cool, spacious and ok living non the less! No pool sadly but a short enough stroll to the beach, I suppose and a few nearby cafes and shops as well as an IGA and pub. If you've been to the Hamptons in New York or Long Island you may wonder why this is called the Hamptons with exception to the decore which is still ambitious at that (cheaply made furnishings and uncomfortable sofa). Expect to walk a bit, you are not right in the hub and again no beach views. No pot plants either so the energy feels stagnant and dead. A swimming pool would have made a huge difference. As well as a restaurant downstairs as part of the complex (as a suggestion). For significantly less you could be on Broad Beach in QLD, in a 4.5 to 5 star hotel with pools, saunas, room service and restaurants at your doorstep. Make sure you bring food and champagne with you if you fancy staying in, or go for uber eats. There is a lovely rooftop area which would be better enjoyed when it is not too hot. Rooms are very clean and air conditioned. Thanking Emily for her hospitality even though she seemed flustered, expressing that everything that could have possibly gone wrong that day did, which was no comfort yet understandable as it is only a little shy of a sh-t hole. Rooms are okish but just not worth the money. I was able to park out back in a stacker which is a tight squeeze and nearly damaged my car on the way out. Also light bulbs were missing in room and a stovetop knob. This is NOT anywhere near 4 stars. I will be more careful before booking next time. Will not be returning unfortunately as I feel it is way overpriced. They suck you in on marketing which is why they have the no refund policy because most people would no doubt have the same reaction as I and wish to leave!

Our apartment wasn’t the cleanest. Thick layers of dust over bedside table which was disturbed when trying to plug my phone charger in. Despite this we were enjoying our stay until we decided to pop a load of washing on as we headed out the door for a wedding. The machine had been on for no longer than 5 minutes and the apartment started to flood. So my partner, in his suit, is under the laundry sink trying to turn the taps off before the water reached the carpet. We quickly moped it up and called guest services who told us ‘there’s nothing we can do about it’. We told them we needed it rectified because we needed to clean and dry our clothes before we could put them in our suitcase to fly. They told us to ‘put them in the dryer and they’ll be fine’. Despite telling them they were sopping wet and covered in laundry powder this was their best solution. They then offered to send housekeeping to fix the issue the next morning. Housekeeping never showed up. We were never even given clean towels after using them to soak up the water all over the floor. Very poor service

Great location and all that, but EXTREMELY disappointed with how they've been handling my post-stay communication. I forgot my very expensive hair straightener in the bathroom, in one of the cupboards. I realised a few days after my stay and emailed directly. I got a reply within 2-3 days saying they would check with the cleaners. I have now followed up multiple times via their own email, via booking.com customer service (e.g they have also called and emailed without success) and messaged them directly through booking.com The straightener is worth about 170 GBP so I am obviously very keen to get it back. But what I find strange is that it should have been found and reported by the cleaners upon checking out. So the only remaining scenario is that a) the cleaners found it and took it home or b) the cleaners didn't do a very good job, didn't see it, and left it for any random customer to grab instead c) they have found it but just suck at writing back to me. All scenarios are unacceptable.

Had recommended this place for interstate family to stay at. On arrival the apartment was not ready or even attempted to be cleaned from the last guests. Was told it would take 2 hours to be ready. Nice way to start a holiday waiting in the rain and cold for room to be ready. On checking in found the apartment dirty, built up areas of grime, dust, dirty windows and a really dirty balcony with cigarette butts behind furniture. Rubbish bins not washed out, under beds full of dust and hair. Overall this place is not cleaned by professional cleaning companies. Would not recommend staying here until they pick up their game.

Paid for 2 of the premium rooms and wasn't bad. There was nice views from the balcony rooms and it was cosy. Wasn't thoroughly cleaned. Shower screen was yuck and scummy. The pantry had some sort of dirt or sugar on the floor and most of the little hamper packs (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturizer) that were placed for guest had broken seals and we're half empty which clearly shows a lack of care. Chips down the side of the couch. Wondering what other corners were cut when cleaning the rooms. Would probably only come back if I was desperate.

The smell of cigarette smoke greets you when you get off the elevator. The room is nice enough, with the exception of the broken toilet. Dont think about sleeping unless you have ear plugs and a mask. A very noisy neighbouring air con and an outside spotlight that stays on all night. I couldnt contemplate a 2nd night. Had booked for 3. They will not refund me for the 2 nights not used, though they have offered a credit.

Totally disappointed with this company. Booked my family's holiday back in August 2022 for the F1. Get a pathetic email from them saying they have now rechecked their inventory and have no apartments available and have now cancelled my booking. They tried blaming Wotif for booking an apartment that's not available. If you book here just be warned they may cancel your booking. Price gougers.

My room was very quiet and everything brand new and of high quality. The team very professional and helpful and it was truly "a home away from home" as advertised. After almost 3 weeks of staying at the Hamptons ,I would not stay anywhere else when in Port Melbourne. The position is excellent and a short walk to both the beach and the shopping centre...a great location when staying in Melbourne.Highly recommended .

The top floor was the highlight. There is a spacious rooftop for people to visit and have a great view of Port Melbourne and the city. The rooms were spacious, as was the toilet and living room. A comfortable place to stay, in a quiet part of Port Melbourne. It is near the beach as well as the nearby shops and food areas. A good place to visit for a short stay if looking for a good accommodation spot.

Biggest mistake making booking for this hotel. Will not recommend to anyone. No parking available for medium size car and for small size $15 per night. Made booking through Agoda and non refundable. Staff also unprofessional asking to park on the streets and move car every 1 hr. Please think twice before making any bookings. Not happy at all.

Stay was amazing rooms were clean, furniture was updated, not very busy so super quiet, beach is only a minute walk away and only really view was the rooftop which was so pretty. If you use ace parking near the hotel it only takes coins or card no mobile tap payments. Super close to pubs, cafes, iga and Coles.

Wonderful apartment. Clean and new with many amenities including washer and dryer, kitchen and ample storage space. The apartments are located in a nice neighborhood with many restaurants within walking distance. However, there was limited parking available on request and had to do with street parking. The building is well maintained and has a concierge available during the day.

Lovely and clean apartment rooms of different capacities to accommodate different needs. Contactless keys make things easy. Reception and lobby area is small but cosy. Gym and rooftop available. On-street in indoor shaded parking available. Proximal distance to beach. Walking distance to public transport tram. Overall satisfied and would recommend!

The place is beautiful and beyond all I expected. The receptionist was fantastic and went out of her way to help me. I would throughly recommend it. But the parking is not suitable for 4x4 or large vehicles. But I was pointed to a place that was.

Fantastic apartment. Nice layout, fitting furnishing, and spacious bathroom. Location is great too. It's near the port, has nice restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby. Service at the frontdesk was fabulous.

Don't believe the photoshopped photos of the beach in the windows in the photos. It is definitely not overlooking the beach, but almost a full block away. This is blatantly misleading.

Very clean and central to heaps of restaurants. Welocme staff was professional and helpful even gave up his parking space for us. Will definitely be going back.

Luxury by the beach. This is an excellent addition to Port Melbourne. The staff are friendly the attention to detail is refreshing. Highly recommended.
