This is a dodgy operation My doctor referred me to Rebecca Farr and they refused to book me in with her. I had to insist. So the initial appointment was with her with was ok however the subsequent appointments were with a trainee which I was not told was a trainee plus still paying the top rate for appointments. I saw the trainee for a couple of weeks, she told me I had large nodules which I had to massage every day, wear a splint and come in for appointments twice a week for her to assess and treat. At my last appointment, i asked one of the other Physios a question so she came over and looked at my hands and told me these weren't nodules at all but bones! So who knows how long I would have been going there to massage bones!! I complained but of course as dodgy operations work they've completely ignored me. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
I suffered from DeQuervain's Tenosynovitis on both wrists and Amy was wonderful in working with me to get them back into tip-top shape. The Hands Physio equipped me with a tailored program to help resolve my pain and with continuous stretches and strengthening exercises, both my wrists were pretty much good as new within 6 weeks. I would not hesitate in recommending The Hands Physio to anyone who has suffered a hand or arm injury. Updated Feb 2022: Almost 3 years on from my first consultation with The Hands Physio, I am still free from pain in both wrists, following their advice and tailored program for my recovery was really key to success! Thanks again Amy, Rebecca and the team at The Hands Physio!
When I initially injured my wrist I was referred to the hands physio in Rhodes. Everyone is professional and with their help I was able to heal from a wrist tendon injury. I was worried it would never feel normal again. With the amazing support of the team here I made steps to a full recovery! A special shout out to Teresa, Hope and Rebecca who saw me through this journey. They are kind, caring and dedicated to making sure you heal. I hope to never have another wrist or hand injury in the future but I know where to go if that should ever happen. Reception is also welcoming and extremely helpful. If you have hand/wrist injury I highly recommend coming here
After enduring a wrist injury for numerous years, my hopes of regaining normal function dwindled. Thanks to the exceptional expertise provided by Rebecca. I am thrilled with the progress in just five weeks of treatment. My wrist has remarkably recovered towards its original strength and mobility. Rebecca's knowledge and skill, combined with her ability to explain the exercises and techniques in a way that ensured my comprehension of their purpose and benefits, were greatly appreciated. I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am. I would enthusiastically recommend Rebecca to anyone seeking exceptional hand therapist without hesitation.
Highly skilled and knowledgeable. Jian is absolutely delightful and amazing Physiotherapist who care for her patient including me holistically. I had been experiencing neck and hand pain for months and she was able to improve and help me to resolve within a few sessions.Their experience, professionalism and friendly demeanour made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. They use a variety of techniques and methods tailored to my specific needs which made all the difference. . I would highly recommend anyone in need of relief from pain or discomfort. Thank you so much for everything.
The best and professional physio in Sydney. I went to other different physios’ and i regretted so much after I found hands physio. I’ve been suffering from wrist pain and finger numbness for a few months and it’s gone away only after 3-4 treatments with Jian. She is always caring, encouraging and advised me exercises to strengthening my wrist and fingers and she always follows up with my progress and result. I actually never thought it will get better.. But it surprisingly did!! I am really happy and pleased with my results and I highly recommend Hands physio. Thank you so much Jian and the team:)
Have been coming for treatment weekly for 6mths. This is specialized hand clinic so you will get most specialized treatment. I did extensive research before finding this place and I happy I came to this clinic. Rebecca (the owner) is running her practice with passion and loves doing her job. She has many specialized consultants so you are sure to get best advice and treatment. The clinic is very bright and has a lot of physio and treatment tools for getting the results you want to achieve. Everyone is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended hand clinic in Sydney.
I have been coming to The Hands Physio for the past 10 months to treat my De Quervain's tenosynovitis and Teresa and team have been so helpful in helping me recover, teaching me wrist strengthening exercises, posture exercises and back and shoulder strengthening exercises as holistic preventative treatment to sitting long hours at a desk. I look forward to coming every time to just catch up about life as they're all so friendly and give me sisterly and motherly advice, especially Teresa. Thank you for all the support The Hands Physio!
I had De Quervain after carrying my baby for 7-8 months. Physio Jian has been very professional throughout my 3 weeks journey there (but I had to stop going cus we moved out of Rhodes). She gave me a customized brace to wear the first week and the pain has eased a lot as I started wearing it. She also showed me how to exercise my thumb to train it stronger, how to hold my scoop my baby without using the sore thumb… etc. I’m very thankful for the treatment I got here, physio is very professional, kind and approachable. Thank you!
I received a diagnosis and treatment for de quervain's tenosynovitis by Bec over about 16 weeks. The treatment was methodically founded on good reason as was the exercise regime provided. Not only was the injury sorted in less time that expected, I've had no reoccurring issues and an acute awareness of how to manage this type of injury long term. The rest of the team were also far less clinical than you would expect a clinical team to be.
Rebecca and the team have been truly amazing! We’ve worked closely together to get my hand working as normal following a significant fracture (severely comminuted boxers fracture). They have enabled me to achieve much more than I and my surgeon expected. I highly recommend the team and if you’re not achieving the results you want with your current physio give the hands physio a call so you have every chance to achieve your own goals!
I went to this physio for roughly 4 months to treat a condition in my wrist, Jian was my main therapist but I had sessions with all the other therapists and they are all very knowledgeable and great at what they do. Definitely saw a big improvement after about a month. They equipped me with all the knowledge and tools for me to be able to manage the condition alone. Will be back if I have any further issues :) Highly reccomend.
I see Jiang at The Hands Physio. I’m very happy with the quality of service that’s been provided. I had major surgery and my body has been all out of whack and causing me a lot of pain, within a few sessions a lot of that pain has been eased. Highly recommend these physios! It’s also an all female practice which makes me comfortable after having a poor experience with a male physio.
The Hand Physio’s are Magicians at mending my broken wrist and damaged tendons. Teresa and Rebecca are absolutely delightful Physio’s who care for their patients holistically. I would highly recommend anyone from near and far to make a booking at the Hand Physio to ensure you get the right advice and treatment to get you back to your old self

I came to the Hands Physio for an overuse hand injury from too much typing at a computer. I used to have to take breaks during the work day to ice my hands for pain relief. After following Theresa's treatment I can now type through the whole work day + more! Very grateful for all their expertise and reassurance ☺️
I highly recommend this place! The therapists were very friendly and extremely accomodating! I’ve had such a great experience with them through my recovery. They taught me a lot about my injury, how to manage it and heal properly. Special thank you to Doctor Jian for all her wonderful help.
Amy from the Hands Physio was personable, professional and patient during my 3.5 months of physiotherapy for a thumb strain and associated muscle tendonosis. She was knowledgeable and gave me a range of exercises that helped me to recover. I would highly recommend to anyone

I received treatment for lower back pain which was thorough & successful over the past 6 weeks. I've also had them help me with shoulder problems in the past. and again with great satisfaction. This included a very helpful continuing exercise program.

The Hands Physio are real experts in hand therapy. Thank you Amy for helping me recover from my injury, as well as prevent further re-injury. It was a long and emotional journey, but it's nice to see the process work.

I'm a five stars or one, kind of reviewer. But this one is a 10/5 ... 5 for their expertise, and another 5 for the quality of people. Thank you.
