I'm almost 4 months into a roughly 350 square foot laminate floor install with 12 stairs... and the project isn't complete. It took 2 weeks to get measurements and another week to get the quote. Then the quote was deleted and they couldn't tell me why, so they re-entered it to create the order. After ordering, it took 2 weeks to get materials, and 2 more weeks to get an install date. When the installer arrived we found there was a lot of incorrect information from the measurement sub contractor Home Depot uses. The installer worked around and corrected everything except a single right return stair that had been incorrectly ordered. The main reason I went to Home Depot was that the original company wouldn't install a right return stair. It was featured prominently in all of our communication at the start of the project, and it was incorrect after the order re-entry. So the installer left with 6 stairs unfinished while a new right return stair was ordered. Another few weeks go by. During this time I called the store several times, but the single person who could answer questions was always "not available" and will "call you back". They never called. I had to go to the store and corner someone to get any information, and even then most of the time I received excuses like "I can't see it on the order. You'll have to come back and talk with X" Eventually the stair arrived and I was notified by the sub contractor installing the floor. I had to go to the store to pick up the stair, and when I arrived I found a 94" wide stair had been ordered custom sized for my 34" wide stair. I was told at that time that it comes in 47", and they were not sure why it was ordered at 94". I spoke with a manager who then tried to tell me it was actually only available in 94" wide, so either lying to cover it up, or rampant incompetence in reading a simple inventory item in their computer. So the assistant manager promised he would "handle it and call me when it was fixed." He didn't call. A few days later I received a call from the installer to schedule the install again, and I explained the issues to them. They contacted the store, and another week went by, with more requests for information that went ignored. Then the installer called again to tell me they were going to cut down the larger stair and install, so they setup a time and the installer went to the store to pick the stair up to bring it out and install. However, when the installer got to the store, they opened the package and found the stair was the wrong color... and damaged. So they were then going to order a new stair. That was 3 weeks ago. I expected it to take a few weeks for the order, like last time, but then a week ago I got a call regarding the order. The person left a message asking "IF my stair had been ordered last time in the wrong color." I returned the call, and had to leave a message to explain that yes, it was the wrong color, and it was supposed to have been re-ordered in the correct color 2 weeks ago. I asked for a call back, ASAP, to let me know if it had not been ordered, or if it had been order yet again in the wrong color. It's been a week. No return call. I went to the store, and was told only one person can look into my stair order, and she only works week days. She's also the person who won't return my calls. At this point I don't know if I'll ever get my stairs complete. Do yourselves a favor. Go elsewhere for anything flooring related; or anything else for that matter.
Disappointed. I thought that going early - just after 6am - would get me better service but I was wrong. Everyone was too busy stocking shelves (or gabbing) to help me get a window off a tall shelf that I was afraid was too heavy for me to take the chance of lifting it down myself. I had asked a guy with a ponytail in another department if he could get someone to help me and he said he would call someone. I went back to the windows and waited. After several minutes, no one came so I found him again and asked if he'd call someone. He didn't offer to help me and said he'd call them again. No one showed up again and I finally went looking for someone myself. A guy several rows down helped me. So, with the window finally in my basket, I head to the bathtub area but didn't understand what I really needed, so this time I went to the front of the store and asked the head cashier if she could get me some help. She told me she'd call someone so I went back and waited. And waited. And waited. I saw one older guy walk past the end of the isle, look my way, but he didn't stop. I gave up and went back up front to pay for the window. The girl apologized and asked if there was anything else I needed. I said 'unfortunately, not here.' I went to Lowe's and spent over $1,000 on a new tub and flooring for our bathroom remodel. They were helpful and eager to take my money. I'll go there for everything else we need, too. My last encounter at this Home Depot several months ago was similar. I won't go back to this store.
I called the tool rental department to check on availability of a verticut/overseeder and was told that none were available at that time but they could take my name and phone number. When one came back to the store they could give me a courtesy call to come and pick it up. Three hours later Rick called and I told him that I was on the way but I had 14 miles to drive. When I arrived to pick it up Rick told me that it had been rented! He said the customer got with the store manager and was irate because it was just sitting there and he was wanting it. They have my machine to him not bothering to give me a COURTESY CALL back to inform me. I was irate and asked for the store manager. They called him only to have him say let the department manager handle it. How did he handle it...he told me sorry. When I said that I had just driven 14 miles he said there was nothing he could do. Was the store manager afraid to face me? Did they get him to the department? No! As I was leaving after arguing with them about not giving me a courtesy call a machine showed up. I took it and asked if he could do something for me on the price of the rental he said no. So much for my customer experience. Will I ever go back to that Home Depot, NEVER
I had a terrible experience with a purchase from home depot. My boyfriend and I purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe's in Late November. They told us they wouldn't be able to deliver until the first week of December which was totally fine. That day came and they rescheduled saying they didn't have our order in yet... We waited, called a few more days later and asked when it would be delivered. A couple weeks later they come and deliver.. they only have the dryer and said that's the only thing they had on the order. We called home depot they told us it's Samsung's fault and everyone was pretty much pointing fingers and not fixing the problem. We waited again for our washer which took another couple of weeks. Finally, we received it and it had a dent on it. We just decided to take it because we didn't have anything and needed it. I was just appalled by the lack of customer service and nobody was trying to make it better or help us out in anyway. I don't think I will probably ever purchase from home depot again. The store itself was fine, it was more corporate home depot that wasn't any help. Although when actually calling the location all they would do is forward us to home depot.
Stopped in to purchase a couple more 18v cordless Ryobi tools and to my surprise I was greeted in the parking lot by a friendly, talkative, knowledgeable employee who was on his way out to collect carts. He asked what I was needing and he directed me to aisle 10. Once at aisle 10, was immediately greeted by another employee — who is a long time Ryobi user himsel — who helped me pick from the several varieties available for each tool. I knew what I wanted as I went in, but when I saw the other options it was nice to have someone to talk through the comparisons. And, of course, he unlocked the cages to retrieve my choices. He then accompanied me to help choose from a vast array of blades that would work best for my current project. I usually use their app to locate items because I don’t always find help at Home Depot, but when I do it seems I can always count on someone in the store having helpful advice or suggestions.
I would not recommend hiring Home Depot to do a job for you! I was trying to get carpet but they had to bring someone out to measure the floor which is no big deal UNTIL you schedule more than a week out and the guy calls you at the time he supposed to be there and cancels! So after taking a day off work & waiting for them they don’t have the courtesy to call you in the morning they wait until your appointment time to cancel! I did get a phone call hours later wanting to know if I would like to reschedule and a sorry! Well thanks for wasting a day off of mine as I actually could of been working or doing something I would enjoy on my day off of work! Very inconsiderate! Oh did I mention I told them they could come later that day, so I was very flexible but nope they didn’t have time when they was already in my big city population of 4K. Don’t waste your time folks and go to someone that appreciates your business!!!
This is in regards to a recent carpet installation and purchase at this Home Depot. I want to preface my comments by saying that the carpet technician was fabulous and the installation was super. But while here, the technician moved some equipment or tools, perhaps his small compressor, and made some marks in a newly refinished hardwood floor. As a result, the installer (Cooper) and Home Depot both took immediate responsibility and we were able to get the floor refinishers to come back the next week and fix the problem (which only took an hour or so). The good thing here is that not only was the work done super well and all estimates correct, but when a problem came up both companies came through. I highly recommend getting your work here (North Kansas City Home Depot). We are super happy with the result and the carpet looks outstanding. Good job to both Cooper and Home Depot.
Today I went to Home Depot for some odds and ends. The store was clean, well stocked, and there were lots of employees to help out. I originally was looking for a potato bag and the employee that looked it up for me let me know it is not in store, but it is online. I was able to easily find and price a new wheelbarrow wheel, but decided to wait until fall to buy it. When going to the registers, I was confused if the plexiglass around the self checkout was to block it off to have customers touch less stuff or if it was to protect customers in that area. It ended up being the latter. So we did our self checkout with no issues after an employee let us know that she could check us out or we could use the self checkout. After checking out, an employee headed over to clean everything for the next customer.
Went to Home Depot this morning to buy two sets of blinds. They didn't have my exact sizes when I encountered employee "Kevin". He was obviously busy but upon seeing me asked if I needed help. This young man exceeded my expectations of the usual careless employees I often encounter when shopping other stores. He cut my blinds to size and showed me how to install them to which I had no idea. The management needs to know "Kevin" is an excellent employee and is a step above most others. Extend my sincere "Thanks" to him and know that I will shop this store again. Customer JamesHughson Returned 2 days later and was assisted by store employee Daymon who assisted me in the same professional manner. This store asli has an excellent assistant manager who is genuinely friendly. I will return again
Went in to find a replacement drain and plumbing parts for my camper. Told them I did not need original rv parts. I asked one guy for help. He told me to “check with an rv store, we don’t carry any parts that will work”. Even after saying I just need parts that will work, not original equipment. So I began to try and piece things together myself. Even sitting in the plumbing aisle to try to find pieces to match our drain sizes. Then Sonny, in the plumbing department, came over. And he spent a good 30/45 min there with us, trying to get what we needed done. And he did! Sonny went above and beyond and understood what I needed. I highly recommend talking to him. He had a certified plumber pin on and he knew his stuff! I hope he gets some recognition by the store for his work.
Went to return an item, waited in line for close to fifteen minutes as there was one person ahead of me. The store had large items in the middle of the aisle as you walk into the store near where you do returns, it was difficult to walk around them. I had my kids with me an employee rolled her eyes shook her head and proceeded to give my child a dirty look because he was standing near me in the aisle. When it was my turn to return my items the woman working wasn’t very courteous no talking at all at the end of the return I said thanks have a good day and she turned and walked away. I would not do business at this location again, customer service is everything to me when I choose to do business at a store there is no excuse for poor customer service!
Let me tell you why I’ll be shopping at Menard’s. No problem finding the item I wanted, but when I went to check out the young woman “assisting” at self check out was not wearing a mask. In fact, no one working In the store that I could see was wearing basic protection from COVID-19. When I asked her why she said it was too it to wear a mask! When I had a small problem with the computer check out system she asked if I needed help. Although I probably did, I told her to stay away from me unless she was going to put on a mask. She refused and acted as though I was crazy.for expecting the basic respect due to a customer concerned with a deadly virus. I’ll choose to spend my money elsewhere from now on. DK
We bought countertops from this store. Big mistake. I will never buy another thing from Home Depot. You have 2 other companies to deal with and nobody is on the same page. The company we got the granite from was awesome. The company that put the tops on were great. Please just go straight to the the source. The girl in the cabinets told conflicting stories, told us we didn’t have to seal it. We do. Told us it took no special products, it does. Talked us out of a under mount sink, which we could have had. They definitely need some training. Never called to set up anything, the cabinet people did,Home Depot told us it would be January before we could get tops. Got them today. It was ridiculous
I love Home Depot as a company. This is a small location but it is the closest to my house. If you are trying to one stop shop and have a large list, it’s better to go to Liberty or Gladstone HD, or Menards. There is also a Lowe’s close by, but it has similar issues to this Home Depot. The store is mostly kept up well. There are not a lot of helpful employees though when it comes to advice. I often will spend time on YouTube researching my question when other HD stores will have an employee in a department that can answer many DIY questions. The front desk has been helpful on several occasions and generally seem to be pretty knowledgeable of Home Depot processes in order issues and returns.
They can always use more employees and a ton more training. I'm sure if they trained them more, had more employees on the floor to help and paid them a living wage, they would be great employees and a great store to shop at. I wish they would lay out the stores the same - too big when you just need a couple of items and one store has what you are looking for in the back, whereas the other my have that item hidden in the front, maybe in the nursery, etc. One of the items of the three I needed wasn't priced. Remember their old slogan: You can do it, we can help: should have only been, You can do it. If it wasn't for Behr paint, I would have only given one star.
This store was something else tonight, went there to buy a set of power tools and they were out of them. Asked if they could ship them to me and they told me they were 399 now and not the 299 price that they were priced. They said that sale is over and we just forgot to take it down is what Alex the store associate said. I asked to see the manager to see why they could not sell them to me for what they had them priced for. She told him she was to busy and that she would not come out, her name was Teresa. They were very unprofessional. I would think twice before giving them my money. I guess that’s why Lowe’s has my commercial account.
First time too this location in a long time. Disappointed 75-80 percent of there Clay Pots were chipped or had strang flaws on them. Wanted some for DYI project. ▪︎They have nice selection of flowers around the doors upfront. ▪︎Checked out a few plants in garden area. They were pretty pricey. I was looking at pots with multiple plants in them. ▪︎Then was heading for the door to get out the front of store. A customer has to go all the way to self check area to get out. That is long way for a handicap person. ▪︎They do have several handicap parking spots out from of the store, which is a nice change for alot if stores.
Don't go in this place on a Sunday and expect to get out in a hurry, unless you know where what you're looking for is physically located, and you don't have any technical questions to ask. There are some knowledgeable people around, but not in every department, and not all at the same time. So, if you're looking to make a list of what wiring you need, what epoxy you need, what under counter sink clips you need, how to glue the sink, how to attach the disposal and plumb a double sink, you're not going to be able to find right guys in all the departments you need.
Buyer beware: If it's not in store DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FOR SHIP TO HOME or STORE PICK UP. Have had nothing but problems and delays. Arrives weeks after order placement. In store pick up, multiple times now, are rarely correct when I have come to pick it up. The online system cannot help. The automated system cannot help. The in-store customer service clerks can only give unhelpful phrases such as "I can't seem to find where the problem is...", the over the phone customer service representatives take ~20 minutes to reach and then are unpleasant to deal with.
Very very poor experience with the lumber department. We had a young gentlemen help us Friday evening with cutting a specific way. Then we came back Sunday to have the same thing done and had a very rude older gentleman tell us that was simply not possible and that he should fire the younger kid for helping us. Then he went on to state that he “could do it” but he just won’t cause his boss was there but he will be having a conversation with the younger kid. The whole situation was in uncomfortable and unprofessional and will not be going back to that store.
Had 3 associates help me with my visit to the garden center. Each very nice and helpful. But we could not find blueberry or strawberry food. This associate took the initative to look forward and told me he would find out more about these two items as he was sure there would be others asking. So good trip. I will get better idea what numbers i need for fertilizer and go back. Thanks for the $5 coupon. I probably would still be procastinating about going shopping but today was the last day. So yes they help us get off the couch and go get our shopping done.
Don’t order countertops from here!!! The installer was very rude and just did whatever he wanted without asking us a thing. Cut through our window trim!!! Did not seal the countertops at all. Talked to him after the fact because he just left without saying a word when he was done and he said he does whatever he feels is best because homeowners don’t know anything so he doesn’t think he needs to ask or explain himself!!! Been trying to resolve the other multiple issues with Homedepot and Countertop trends with no response!!! Terrible! Stay away!!
Items available as shown on website however, not one service center rep. Or customer service person was available in the area I was shopping. Was purchasing large items and had to ask at self check out if there was someone to help load said items in our truck? Would of been nice to have some help trying to load the flat carts before sending them flying across the isles as the products slid off. Still enjoy the store however, I have an Ace hardware about 2 miles from me vs driving 15 miles to this store. May have to look into all that they offer
I jad been running errands all afternoon, with my 2-year-old granddaughter in tow. I had put her in and out of her car seat countless times. I didn't I could possibly do it again! I pulled in the curbside pickup spot and called customer service and asked if there was any way they could bring it out to me. John answered the phone and said sure he'd be happy to. He came out with a big smile even explain to me how to work the item I was picking up. What incredible customer service thank you John! with a toddler all afternoon
A couple of weeks ago, I ended up at Home Depot on Boardwalk. There's something soothing about the bright orange glow as you pull into the lot. This was a last minute repair Job. We needed a specific lift for one hour. Great Service. Easy Instructions. Simple checkout. We got the job done, and brought the lift back, turned in the key and attachment and made it home in time for a late Dinner. The one missing star was for trying to find an employee during closing, but that's to be expected. All in all, a great Experience.
Pretty good store with pretty good selection. Can usually find what I am looking for - though often need staff help. When asked, the staff point - and often I ask them to come with me as it may be an item I won't recognize - single female trying to learn more about being more handsy around the home. They - the staff - can be quite nice - wish they would offer more to show you or ask if you need help. But overall nice and good experiences here. Recommend. Wish top owner didn't donate to the causes that he does.....
Michelle the assistant manager has about the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. They mixed up addresses on my order now I have to wait another week to get my appliance. Not once did she apologize or say she understands my frustration. In fact when I was speaking to her she was not responding to 90% of the things I was asking her. When I asked her why she was not responding she said she was multitasking and doing more than one thing while she was on the phone!!!Frustrated and confused over her customer service!
Bought a new mower and didn't have to talk to anyone to buy it. Bonus, no one talked to me, either. Pulled the one off the shelve I needed and proceeded to the checkout. Worker didn't want to "try and dig for the security tag," so I knew it was going to set of the security alarm when I left. I pushed the cart through, and it went off just as I expect, then I stood back, so when everyone looked it would appear the cart was exiting the building by itself. Thanks for the good times Home Depot.
Abhorrent customer service. Bought a tool kit that was advertised as including batteries and a charger, but I got home and found that it was a bare tool. They refused to supply what was not in the box because "it was on clearance." I don't care about the damn number on the box, I just wanted what was advertised. Only reason this is not a one-star is because I was offered a heavy discount, but only three-star as this place is poorly operated and severely lacking stock.
This store has terrible customer service!!! Ask for help and 6 employees standing there talking. Waited 15 minutes and was waiting for someone to bring a key to unlock a piece of equipment in front of the store Finally someone says oh go look in back of the store they think there was some back there unlocked. How lazy can people be when it's their job on taking care of customers!!! WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN FROM HOME DEPOT!! the skyview store needs new management
The employee Vanessa I give her a 1 star. She doesn't deserve a zero. Anyways. 12×14 carpet priced at $34 same carpet 10x12 priced at $81 just because the forgot to mark the carpet before. This was only leftover carpet they refuse to sell for the discounted price. Not the first bad experience. I will start my transition to Menards and Lowes and avoid joke Deep from now an on. Trim is way cheaper on Menards and 11% rebate on top of that.
Product was out of stock in store and couldn't ship to store, so manager (Andrew Ormond) helped me out and waived shipping charge so it could be shipped to my house. Also product was 20 dollars higher and he gave me best discount he could to honor price. Great customer service by Andrew, which is hard to find these days. I felt like he genuinely cared. Will definitely do all shopping there in the future because of this experience!
Unusually good service this visit. Didn't find what I was looking for and was leaving when a worker asked if I needed any. Told him what I didn't find, he went to the kiosk pulled up what I was looking for, found it (floor transition piece) was no longer made. He went over to their supply found a very close match, I bought it and I was on my way. Need that level of service everytime and I might visit more often.
I typically give both Home Depot and Lowes a shot when shopping home improvement. Today I had an instant reminder why I prefer Lowes. It took two seconds being greeted by an employee ( if we want to consider it a greeting ). I guess fortunate to learn this in the beginning stages of a basement remodel to save a headache later. I’ll take my business back to Lowes. They seem to appreciate their customers more.
Inside the Tiffany Springs shopping center, this store is very clean and well laid out aisles. They have tool rental, pro desk and customer service on front half of the store. Being a contractor we rely on speed and knowledge of the staff in each department. The cashier on the contractor side is always cheerful and ready to help. Out of all the HD stores I have been to (over 30 so far) this is the BEST!
Such a great store. Was only planning to return a rental tool but saw that there is a tool sale happening while supplies last. I've been needing new 18V Ridgid batteries anyway. I bought a combo kit w/ a 4amp, a 6 amp battery, and a charger. And got to pick a free tool. Now I have a Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool too! I'm so glad I made this purchase! Can't beat the Lifetime Warranty either.
There is a lady in painting that she took a peak at the sticker of paint that I was trying to reorder and she memorized the whole number and even while talking with another customer, she entered the numbers to get the paint I needed, at one point I thought this is impossible she will come back to look at it again but she didn't. I had to acknowledge that and let her know how good she is.
One of my favorite places to shop. However I should not be allowed in the store unsupervised. I walk in to buy shims and I end up leaving with a Ryovi lawnmower, miter saw, a drill combo and just about everything else I really didnt need to buy. Raise your hand if you think Ryobi should throw some tools my way to test for such a glowing endorsement ♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️
Very, very rude. I asked to use a handsaw to cut a 2ft square foam board in half because I needed a very square edge. The associate told me "Good luck!" and if that's what I wanted then I would have to buy the saw. The only way he would cut it was with a knife and a rough guide. Really!!??? Never, never, never .....going back. I am incensed at how I was treated. Lowes from now on.
Waiting for 12min for a sheet of plywood to be cut. Front counter calls over intercom while I wait another 10min before calling the store. Go figure they just said someone should be around soon. 5min later I go to the front again not happy and talked to someone who finally came to help. 32min to get 1 piece if plywood. Go to lowes or Menards and save your time.
We have shopped here a lot of times in the past and can't say anything bad about the service or the staff that has helped us find everything we have needed. We have used their professional services also to install carpet and a hot water heater, which we were all very happy with. I like that they have the self checkouts registers, which are pretty easy to use.
I stopped by around noon today and there was not one check out person. Only self-check out was open with numerous workers standing around the customer service center that could be used for a check out lane. Waste of staff and management should be ashamed with no check out lanes open except self-checkout. I was not the only other customer that noticed.
I want to say I was very upset that we waited for 25 minutes for help when we got to the register Jacob took the time to LISTEN to us and called John for help with forklift then came out and helped load our purchase! Thank you for being so kind Jacob and John!!! Need to get the rest trained as well! I asked 3 people to get someone to run the machine!
Keri at the paint counter was the only employee available, and she went out of her way to stay with me and help with several paint issues I was having, despite being off the clock. She did so because there was no one else available. This kind of employee is a rarity and worth praising. Thank you, Keri! And I hope you are being appreciated at work.
Worst customer service I've ever seen. People working standing around on there phones and talking with one another. When asked if there was a checkout line was directed to the other side of the store. Where no one was working mind you. Came back and the girl who was on her phone was all of a sudden running a register. Poor management!!!
My husband and I are doing renovations to try to sell our home. We ordered laminate for our countertops 9 days ago. It was supposed to arrive 2 days ago. Instead of tracking the order with a estimated delivered date. They F-ing canceled it. The house is supposed to go on the market tomorrow!!!! Now what are we supposed to do??
A little pricier on many things but the Ryobi line is what I can afford.....but....they tend to not make the normal line of tools easily accessible they seem like they almost hide brushed cheaper tools while promptly showing the brushless expensive ones....check the app for quality and have employee hunt down what you need.
While Home Depot has almost anything you need for home maintenance/improvement there are many things they don't carry that some of the newer home improvement super-stores are offering like groceries and pet supplies. I also have noticed a big difference in customer service as well. I rarely go to Home Depot any more
The guy in the store that help me find my electrical component was wearing a mask and super helpful! However, this is about the weakest link...there is a city ordinance today that requires people to wear masks in public places. You can't ask your customers to wear masks if you refuse to wear masks as employees.
Went to both the orange store and the blue store and the blue store won out this time, hands down. Home Depot didn't have much of anything I was looking for and there wasn't much support from the staff. Went to Lowes and found everything I needed plus some helpful advice from the employees that helped me.
Went in to purchase a microwave, found a decent deal on an LG. Got it home, all set up, found it had a weird vibration and super loud. Boxed it back up to exchange the next day. Super easy exchange transaction! Browsed for a bit and the staff was very helpful and friendly with another impulse purchase :)
Spent over an hour trying to order appliances. Their point of sale system messed up not once, not twice, but three times. After that, my card suspected fraud and became locked, so we left without being able to order. If I even end up still ordering, I will definitely not be doing it via this location.
Don't do it! Don't order windows from this place. The salesmen lie about install dates. We have been waiting over half a year for our window install and still have no date set!!! The install manager is beyond rude. And not even any discount offered! We have 8 windows waiting For! Home depot sucks!
Outstanding service! I shop at this location occasionally (there's an HD closer to my house), but ended up here in search of the much-coveted 12' skeleton. I always have good experiences at this store, but today Telsie and Daymon went above and beyond to help me, and I can't thank them enough!!
I was helped my Chris in the Paint dept and he was nothing short of AMAZING! Very helpful and knowledgeable in the areas of paint, what's hot and what's not! So impressed with my experience! Because of my experience w/him, from now on, I will only shop at this location! Great hire HD Northland!
Stacy Mackley in recieving, took me a day early. She could have said no and it would have messed some things up. She is a real team player and deserves employee of the month or something. Idk, how else to thank her other than leaving this review and you all should be able to locate her. Thanks.
Tom N was honestly the nicest individual I’ve ever met. My roommate and I came in (21 year old girls). We bought a patio set, he helped us get it down, and loaded everything for us in our SUV. Super professional, and kind hearted. 10/10 would recommend this guy gets a raise. He deserves it!
You will always helpful, knowledgeable people who can help you with whatever you are doing. Great variety and value, from pro-tools, to occasional use tools and even rental tools. WARNING Go in with a written list of things you are there to get, I always leave with twice as much stuff.
Friendly and helpful staff. I like that the restrooms are in the front of the store. I also like that the clearance items are all gathered in the front of the store in their own little room. Getting to the store goes through a heavy traffic area. That's probably my only complaint.
Great trip to Home Depot. Employee there checked computer listings then led me to the area where I could select pieces of galvanized sheet metal, helping me get the best quality for my purposes and even fetching the right cart to move the items to check out. Wonderful experience!
Home depot is pretty good. I have had pretty neutral experiences with them and it is nice they have cookies for sale at the check out. They sell plants for a pretty good price in late spring/early summer and when I get plants, they are one of my go to places. Nice job home depot.
I had been here in this place for 30 minutes and no one helped me, ::::MASON ::::arrived quickly together with a team and I obtained my material. He is a guy who takes his job with great responsibility. I congratulate him and many Home Depot for having very effective workers.
Store is almost always clean and organized. Someone is usually pretty close by if you need help. Shouldn't be a surprise but they don't carry everything they have on their website but still a possibility when looking for something just to realize it was an online item only.
Was in the process of renting a truck. Another guy came in behind me and they gave the truck to him because he had been in earlier yet didn’t have his insurance info. The website lists the trucks as first come first serve and no reservations. Turns out that’s incorrect.
Organized and especially clean. Employees are helpful and pleasant to work with. My favorite, the "ooops" paint, yet again pays off . Purchased BEAR outdoor sealer and paint (usually $49.99)...$9 and the color is perfect. Won't do home projects with out the Home Depot.
I ordered a bathroom sink to be delivered that part of it is were I have mixed review. Very quick ( less than 24 hrs.) Bad part I got home & the box was open and there was 3 pieces of small Styrofoam in the box for a 47x22 ceramic top/sink. Will not go there again.
Lady in paint department yesterday afternoon was about as nice as anyone can be, very helpful and knowledgeable, super Service. Today at lumber area the Latin lady on the register was wonderful, helped me open a card and saved me money. Great staff there. Thanks!!!
I wish the veteran parking was a little closer and the military discount didn't cap out. It used to be available on everything and now there are limits and conditions. Service could be better. It's hard to find an employee and the self checkout is rather annoying.
A guy named Caleb was working the return desk and greeting people at the door. Lots of energy, super friendly, fantastic service. It was nice. I haven't seen many employees happy about working or really trying to be hospitable since covid, definitely refreshing
Tools and such. Duh. What else could you possibly want?! I know, a lot if other things. Such as...knowing how to use any given tool from home depot. I like this location a lot. Staff is helpful and pretty cool. The store is clean and organized. Go to here!
Home depot was just ok. They had most everything I needed but the employee in the construction materials was "in overtime" and needed to talk about it in front of customers... Very unprofessional. There were several helpful employees to go along with him.
Employee was friendly and helpful. I showed a picture of the item I needed. Employee knew exactly where to find it. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I gave only 4 stars because my online experience was exactly opposite of my in store experience.
Employees are very helpful. We have bought many things at Home Depot in last couple of month. Bought a Ryobi electric lawn mower (40 V). It's light weight, easy to assemble, the battery charges in little time, and quiet compared to regular lawn mowers.
Just got home from an excellent experience at this Home Depot. A guy like me isn’t handy and needs some extra help at places like Home Depot. I had four separate staffers ask if they could help. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!!!!!
The biggest disappointment ever. I bought a lawn mower there 2 months ago and I had great service. This time I went in needing help about deck sealer and the guy was rude and treated me like I was an idiot. Then I went and spent$100 at Lowe's.
I picked up a new Milwaukee m12 stapler and batteries. I expected them to have it in stock as they normally do with most Milwaukee tools. It's nice to know I can rely on them to have my back on busy days in this summer heat. Thank you.
This is a good store and reasonably staffed so we got the assistance we needed. They're pet friendly making it nice as we bring our well behaved Aussie. The only negative was we're in need of a garden trowel, they were out of stock.
Four stars because they didn't carry the color of tube grout i needed for spring cleaning around my kitchen counters. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face as I shopped throughout your store. Many friendly employees around.
I purchased a chainsaw from there. Home Depot website price was $50 cheaper than the price listed in the store. Associate said they don't honor the website prices. Nice bait and switch. Lowe's and Menards win.
I love home depot! They always have a tremendous selection of products and the people who work there are exceptional. Very helpful friendly and knowledgeable about their store. HIGHLY recommend this store.
Went in looking for a washer & dryer. Found those but no employees. Waited & looked & browsed, but no sales people appeared for 15-20 minutes. So on to Lowe's (where I found washer, dryer & sales people).
Mike, Matt, and Moose were amazing!! They went above and beyond to help with a Tuff Shed! Kudos to customer service all around! Definitely will make this my Home Depot my first choice! Good job guys!
Did an online purchase this time. Got it fast. I especially liked that I had a lot of options on the product I was looking for. The price range was $23 to $159. Obviously, the features varied a lot.
A female employee gave me excellent directions to the product I needed. Plus a two employees asked if I needed assistance. At checkout a polite young man assisted me doing new self checkout system.
Had a mixed up online order. Was upset since I had been waiting and needed it, but Liberty home depot was great at sorting it all out, other ones not so much. Appreciate it Liberty, thanks so much.
This a a lot better then Lowes they like to help you here and walk you to the spot of the item. The only problem is that every store isn't laid out the same. So it's a pain to find some stuff.
Great experience with Lisa in Millwork designing front entry door! She's great on details and getting the customer exactly what they want. Hardworking and truly cares about the customer.
Very well stocked store on Skyview in Kansas City North. Adequate number of well trained and informative staff to answer questions. I believe I had an exceptional shopping experience.
I was looking for tin bucket and asked it was those who helped me were awesome. Then got confused at self checkout and again the person that works there helped me. Thank you to all.
if you bargain with store workers for a reasonable price on something that's been marked down or certain items broke like sheetrock they will sale lots cheaper 75% or more to you.
Our check out clerk was very friendly and payed extra attention to my kid and was impressed by his manners. Thus making our hole transition a great experience for him and I.
I was told by the rental department that I would be able to rent a 12ft ladder last week! Called today and was told it hasn't been available for weeks, very DISAPPOINTED!!
It's a Home Depot so pretty standard from that prospective. The staff has always been nice and I've rarely had issues with customer service or items being in stoc
They didn't have the right tools in stock we were looking for. Plus they only had self checkouts open. No cashiers. I know some people like these but I do not.
My Fiancé was in wood paradise. He stated his only concern was finding someone to cut it down so we could carry it home. It's one of my go to hardware stores.
Great staff. Generally, I shop in the morning and the cashier, well she is always a delight. Great customer service you can't beat...better than owe's …
Changing out all my light bulbs to LED. Caught a nice reduced price. Great customer service when I couldn't reach what I wanted! Cashier was friendly too!
Helpful, affordable and I love how they are handling covid19. Lowe's isn't even taking the precautions Like Home Depot is. I feel safe shopping there.
We had a great experience with buying flooring for our home, thanks to Mark for his kindness, patience and knowledge in this department. Go see him.
Friendly staff very helpful finding items I need and when I get the wrong thing they are helpful with returns I appreciate that very much!
