A return is sometimes a place where an establishment makes it or breaks it. I returned several plants that died. I only have so much room in my vehicle. I took the first load. Kim was great. I said I would see you all in an hour with the second load. Destiny worked diligently to return the second set. At the end of trying to return the plants, the transaction failed. Destiny could not understand the reason for the denial. She tried several times--all to no avail. She called a few other attendants. None could ascertain the reason. Finally, she called Sarah. Sarah tried to resolve the issue. Finally, the resolution was to have me swap out like-for-like plants. Tyler jumped into the fray and walked through the nursery aisles with me. Tyler worked diligently to find similar plants to replace my deceased. After a brief stint, Ms. D appeared. Ms. D is quite diligent and very educated in plant anatomy and physiology. Ms. D directed us all in which plants would be suitable like-to-like replacements and aided us all. In the end, Tyler conferred with Sarah, Ms. D confirmed that the transaction was like-for-like, and Destiny concluded the transaction for my return. I wish to thank all of the diligent people who worked to resolve my return and make my return agreeable. You are a true testament to diligent and earnest people who make someone like me feel valuable. Thank you!

Honestly this is my regular store and in 20 years I have never had an issue with anyone, employee or customer, there. Until tonight. There was an obviously addled individual walking around the store in a lurching manner wearing a similar brown carhart coat as I was. He set something down and curious I went to inspect it visually as my hands were full of the items that I proceeded to buy. This employee walks up, (didn't catch her name but she was older with short blond spiked hair and a navy blue puffy coat) and proceedes to say "yeah you should take that, its going fast, and then just leave the store. Like now. Forever." Startled I looked her stone cold in the eyes and asked if she was mixing me up with someone else. Which she was. But she declared that no she wasnt. And then she followed me around the store Until I left. Beyond being presumptuous and rude, the other gentleman left the building and upon seeing her one last time she turned heel and walked away. If she had enough brain cells to realize her mistake she certainly didn't have the customer service to come apologize for her blunder. I never Write reviews like this unless I truly feel slighted, and this isn't the sort of place where you should be judging someone for having a dirty carhart jacket, thats pretty much a requirement.

After spending hundreds of dollars on Glidden paint to paint a house it's now peeling. I spent days prepping with a power washer so it would be ready for paint. The paint didn't cover that well and took 3 coats. Now 3 weeks later the paint is starting to crack and peel. I called home depot and talked to the paint department and was told they can't do anything I have to call Glidden paint and make a claim with them. What a joke and waste of time and money. Home Depot should handle this situation not me. If you are going to sell a product then stand behind it or don't sell it at all. I have spent thousands of dollars with home depot throughout the years. Im about ready to take my business over to Lowe's if they don't help with this issue . I painted the house 15 years ago with cheap paint and it has lasted 15 years with no cracks or peeling. Let's see if home depot steps up and helps or Lowe's gets a new customer. Remember people are struggling and not spending money like they were when Trump was the president.

We tried to purchase a microwave and an oven over a month ago and they only had the microwave. They didn't have the oven we wanted the price that it had at that time but they said that they couldn't hold it I couldn't put. It on my way but it should be that price when it came in. However I couldn't order it. I just had to check back on it when it finally came in the price was. More than $200 over what it originally was and they would not give me the price that it had been previously. They gave me several excuses but none of them made sense. I tried to call the store manager to speak Dan Floyd but I could never get through. I will no longer be doing business with this particular home depot. If they're going to have such poor customer service. Home depot. If they're going to have such poor service you can't get through to the manager. They won't honor prices they told you they would honor this is really bad customer service. Joyce Allen

I’ve been a loyal customer of Home Depot. I was in today pick up some pegboard, wood and screws to help my mother with her garage organization. I get the items I need and go to the cutting department, and I stand there for five minutes without one associate asking me if I need assistance. I then went to two different associates to ask for help, both of them said that they would get someone for me. After me now and standing there for an additional 15 minutes again, without anyone asking me if I need help. I left my stuff on the cart and left and will never return to the Home Depot on Cave Creek and cactus Road! Home Depot will probably say, maybe all of the associates were busy. No they were not, while I was standing there I saw three different guys walking around aimlessly the store and not being productive. If I could give a 0 star I would!!

Paint is always the hardest working department at Home Depot. I had an exceptional experience at this store the other day when I came in to have two gallons of paint mixed for me. One had been discontinued by the maker and the paint professional on duty, Michaela, took extraordinary lengths to make sure the color matched what I was looking for. She tended to other customers in a very busy store with grace and made my experience fantastic. Second kudos to this store and it's manager on call, Felicia. She immediately took our call not knowing it was a complaint or a compliment when I called in about her paint department and my experience with Michaela. She was so friendly and so proud of her team that it is no wonder she is the manager. Great job everyone!!

I came here to pick up a small amount of touch up paint because I am moving out of my apartment at the end of the year. The woman who helped me was very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Because the store was out of stock of the base that would normally have been used to make my paint she had to use a more expensive one. She added a note to the can to only charge me for the less expensive base that I wanted, not the one that got used, which I thought was super cool. It's rare to find someone willing to go that extra mile in customer service and I was extremely impressed with everything that this woman did to quickly and competently get my paint matched mixed and get me out the door.

CURBSIDE PICKUP NEEDS HUGE IMPROVEMENT! I have done dozens of online orders for curbside pick up and 9 times out of 10 youll be waiting at least 15-20mins after you check-in in the parking lot. At that point I actually just call them bc Im sick of waiting. The person is clueless that Ive been waiting that long. The parking lots been near empty and I still have waited this long. Another MASSIVE problem is that some orders have been missing items or ive been given the wrong item. Management needs to step in and take control of this dumpster fire. I have picked up curbside at other store locations and ive had no issues.

This store has the worst customer service I have ever seen in a Home Depot Store. It feels they don’t want to work or help anyone, they do not smile, you feel they hate their lives. Even if you find a good associate that wants to help you but they need the support of a supervisor, they won’t find one. I wonder who make the decision of hiring mangers like those, no energy, no customer service at all to rate or discuss. My advice if you do not want to have a roadblock or a negative vibe do not go to this store unless they make a massive change. It is The Home Depot, it is not a 99c store!!

I really felt compelled to leave a review today because of the amazing service; I went in today and literally got complimented twice on my tattoo by some of the staff. Such sweeties! Then as I checked out, I had a conversation with a nice woman, an employee, who talked about the product I was buying. Seriously the service here is top notch! You can really tell that they love their job and are happy to be there and have a passion for home repair and garden. I will make it a point to go to this Home Depot every time. Y’all rock! I hope you all get some raises because you deserve it!

I went to this home Depot tonight and was already having problems earlier that day trying to find the flooring in the amount of flooring I needed and when I got to this home Depot and cactus and cave Creek they were very helpful Gary and flooring went above and beyond to help me get what I needed and maylene the young lady in the front of the store made sure that it was going to be delivered when it needed to be delivered and was very polite and patient and I would like to think both of them very much and let them know I really appreciate what they did for me

I had a very big issue employee issue with a flooring return, not the store, as a whole. This issue was not an easy fix, and I was anticipating never purchasing from that location again. Sarah, the store manager, tackled the issue and was absolutely incredible on getting me my refund, and she invested a lot of time figuring out what was wrong. I know this was no easy task. Thanks to her professional and way that she took care of the issue, I will definitely continue shopping at this location. I’m extremely thankful to her!

This Home Depot is pretty much like any other. Maybe a little less busy and less crowded. There are some really cool people working at this location though! They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! We started going to this Home Depot by default as it was the closest to our new home, but now I would drive further to go to this store (within reason of course) because of the service we have received at this store!! And you ladies and gentlemen who went out of your way to assist us know who you are!!

The people in The Home Depot stores are so nice and generally so knowledgeable it is a pleasure to shop there. I have done many projects for several homes and have had no return problems when I can't find my receipt or when I have a thousand receipts!! Everybody is so helpful. If they don't know where something is located they use their phones and look it up and walk you to the aisle where it's located!! I think that is really nice and rare these days most people just point and walk away! Thank You home Depot!

I fell in an extremely dirty aisle at this location in December, causing injury. It was reported at the time no problem. Unfortunately I have yet to hear back from them in any capacity since this report was made. Multiple calls and voicemails to the store and HR have yet to be responded to. I went up there again today and asked for a manager, they ran and hid in their office for 45 minutes and never saw me. The one manager I tracked down took down my info and will "follow up". Geez do I need to get a lawyer!?

It's hard to find help. Employees are no longer knowledgeable! If you want a knowledgeable employee go to Tru Value or Ace Hardware. 6.24.2023 Home Depot puts returned used and incomplete merchandise back on the shelf. I bought a deep root irrigator but before putting it in my cart I took a good look at it. It had dirt inside the tube and was missing the flow valve. I've also purchased a room cooler (several years ago) that didn't work well. I opened it and there were dead German roaches inside.

The Home Depot store on bell rd/16 th st phx is a great store and the store greeter larry needs to be back at the door. Very friendly and helpful person. Phoenix my dog & I was on vacation in mn and went shopping in Home Depot Phoenix was looking for his friend larrry the door greeter couldn’t find him, he was very upset. Glad to see Larry when we got home. Please bring the door greeters back the people and the animals need them. Thanks Cheers to Larry

Hope this encourages everyone, I'm not a handy guy and I've always hired people to do stuff. I got injured at my job and took several months off and during that time I watched YouTube videos on How to do all the stuff I wanted to get done. At the Home Depot I bought the tools and the lumber and built a deck. I bought more tools and moved rock from our yard and planted grass. Check out my pictures. You can do it too. You can! Everytime I have to go to home depot I driver right pass the Home Depot on Cave Creek and Bell to get to the Cactus store. The place is super clean and we'll organized. The associates go above and beyond but most importantly they realize I'm at work too get me what I need and get me out. I'd give Cave Creek and Cactus Home Depot 5 stars because they value my time and I appreciate that bottom line.

Not all Home Depots are equal. This one has improved over the last couple of months, but continues to have inventory problems. I still find That items listed in the Home Depot's app and website as being in stock at this location are not available. The really big improvement has been with the staff, smiles have replaced surly frowns, and training has really improved the quality of service.

Gary in tool rentals is useless! Guy didn’t want to help me whatsoever. I had multiple questions about a rental and he just assume I wasn’t serious. I will never come back here again. Ive been a valid home depot customer for years and have never experienced this type of treatment before. He seriously needs to get a new job if that is how he is going to treat his customers.

More and more of the stuff here is locked up, tools etc. Seen a cement mixer (!) stolen from this store, also a gang of people running thru parking lot after stealing a woman's keys and purse- they took her car, using another car to block. I'm going to drive farther in search of a safer store- definitely only daytime if I go there. 29 year customer.

Amazing, I was lost in that DIY playground and the nicest guy asked me if he could help. And I was relieved to have the help. Within 5 mins he had me everything I wanted and he even found me a better option than what I had originally asked about.. I wish I had gotten his name awesome job H.D. I asked 5 people for help. And none of them seemed to know what they were talking about when all I was asking about was piping. Especially the old white lady she was rude rude rude!! Giving my boyfriend attitude the entire time acting like we were dumb cause we asked if they cut the pipes there. Terrible customer service.

Not the nicest Home Depot in town. Multiple times now I have purchased a product, only to find out once home that the item was a previous return and is defective or missing parts. I have a feeling this store experiences a lot of return fraud and indiscriminately puts items back on the shelves.

Don’t trust their delivery. What they say and what is actually so are two different things. Had 2 confirmations yesterday and 1 today that our delivery for our appliances is today. Been waiting around all day only to find out that the delivery is now pushed out two weeks. HORRIBLE service.

One of the better Home Depot's I've been to. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because the lines are usually very long and on more than one occasion you could only use credit cards because their cash machines were down.

I was a little disappointed today , the Home Depot app which is mostly reliable was not today, the couple of items I looked up while in the store did not have the correct location displayed. The items were in completely different isles than what was listed.

Went in to pick up a few items. Pleasantly surprised by the employees I had spoken to regarding the project I'm working on. They were knowledgeable and directed me to the items I was looking for. Self checkout was a breeze after you do it once or twice.

They let me walk my dog 5 times a week. Employees are always nice and friendly. Some of them even give her treats. It's good that I have a place to train her around people and lots of activity INSIDE during the summer and we don't get hassled

Great store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Needs to work on aisle clutter, especially around Seasonal and Garden area. Can't maneuver around or get to some items if you are using a handicap scooter. UPDATE 8/3 It's worse!
