The coffee is good here, however I am taking my $1200 in business annually to starbucks down the street. If I am going to patron an establishment I do not want to have employees patting down my pockets for more money. The staff here try and pressure their patrons into leaving tips. Normally I leave a tip when they present the receipt to fill out at a place. Here however, they ask of you want to leave a tip before even showing you the prompt and if you pay in cash they will ask if you want change. Even like today when my order was $2.97 and I paid with 3 one dollar bills. It is not the money it is the principal of the matter. If I am paying at a place I do not want an annoying pat down. A tip is extra for doing a good job it is not something to be taken for granted. I try to support smaller businesses but from now on I will be going down the street to Starbucks where they treat their customers professionally.

New worker at the south Phoenix human bean has bad customer service, bad attitude and I believe she needs to be either fired or retrained. I prefer human bean over Dunkin’ doughnuts. I recognize some of the workers from the Indian school location at the southern phoenix location. I guess I need to give my money to a different coffee shop where I will be treated with unconditional respect and know I will be getting my money’s worth. Guess I’ll be going back to Dunkin. There’s more of them anyway. I will be sure to let others know of the service I received.

Came back to give 1 less star because I'm disappointed in their change of cup sizes. Guess they chose to follow behind starbucks in paying more for less product. I order a medium at all coffee stands and they all fit in my medium drink coozie, except for Starbucks and now human bean. This rinky dink tiny drink is NOT a medium. Dutch, the fix and even dunkin donuts know the proper size for medium.. Original review -> Friendly staff, bagels are Good and the Granitas are good especially when you order extra shots of espresso in them. I return often.

So happy this place opened up nearby! The espresso is strong, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick. I'm surprised how quickly we get through the drive-thru when it's on a busy street and always packed. And I'm thrilled they serve Guava Rockstar! It became impossible to find in the cans but it's long been my favorite flavor. If you visit this location (and you should!), I also recommend their Amaretto Breve. But everything we've tried had been amazing. We're about to start drinking a lot more takeout coffee! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great drinks, cheerful, timely customer service and frankly I like them better than Starbucks. I especially like the chocolate covered coffee bean that comes with each drink. Those are habit forming, lol. This one gets the "peppermint" in "peppermint mocha" correct. My drink always tastes like a York Peppermint Patty, and that's my sweet spot. The Cremosas aka Italian Sodas are great too. They have a LOT of syrup flavors, but the peach Cremosa is awesome!

I absolutely love The Human Bean. I learned about this place a week ago when I was in Phoenix. I went there everyday when I was there. I discovered they have some in the DFW metroplex..now Carrollton and soon to be Lewisville. I love their lattes. They have an assortment of syrups (regular and sugar free). My favorites so far is the Cowabunga latte (coconut and marshmallow syrup combo) and today I chose sugar free cinnamon and marshmallow syrup in my latte. Both are delicious!!

This place opened May 2020. It was surprising that there were no obvious precaution observed to minimize Covid19. I purchased the caramel hazelnut latte and Irish cream breve. The prices are cheaper than Starbucks and the flavor is better. The minus star is for the food. The chorizo burrito had a small amount of chorizo and a lot of cheese and egg. Essentially an egg and cheese burrito. The bagel sandwich was salty and seemed like a microwaved- cafeteria style sandwich.

My pups and i come to this location almost every morning. The staff is great and so very kind to my dogs. However, this morning i was not happy with the service. Only 2 girls were staffed today so service was very slow, my dog leaning out the window did not get a pup cup because it was too busy for them. Also they had a delivery truck blocking the entire parking lot and half of the entrance to the drive through. I was not happy today with the service.

Don't get the breakfast burritos here; they're flavorless and I'd bet $1 the salsa is from a jar. It could just be because they forgot to put the chorizo in my chorizo burrito, but even still, you can find better and cheaper breakfast burritos within a mile of here, guaranteed. ****The drinks on the other hand are what keep them at 5 stars. Such good cold brew!! Way better and fresher than the big names. Will definitely get coffee here again!****

Wow wow wow!!! This place surprised me. Their drinks are super yummy. Im not a huge rockstar fan but their drinks with them were very delicious! It didn't even taste like rockstar. Ice coffee was nice and smooth. Their cute coffee bean adda a nice touch. Tried the breakfast burrito with salsa and this too was amazing. Definitely stop by and give them a try.

Ahh honestly this place has the best coffee, teas, smoothies, and customer service I've had in a longgg time!!! I am recommending it to all my friends and family because everytime I drive here, the ladies/coworkers at the front are super sweet and patient crafting the best of drinks and everything looks/tastes amazing!!! Thank you guys! A returning customer for sure! Definitely worth the drive out for me!

Not a good experience at this location. Pulling up to get my order taken, I waited in the second merge lane. The worker asked me to reverse in and out of the spot so many times as people who weren’t there as long as I was - were getting their orders taken. I left without ordering anything (20 minutes later). Wanted to support a smaller chain so close to my house but was whole heatedly disappointed with their service.

Coffee is pretty good and the energy freezes are good too. But, I gave 3 stars because the burrito I got there was pre-made and cold, had to throw it away. They also need to better manage traffic because when I got in line, 3 other vehicles got service ahead of me when they were directed to go into the other open lane while 2 other vehicles got service ahead of me instantly also on the other side of the building.

Love that these guys are close now. Used to swing by another local owned franchise location near my parents in Oregon all the time while visiting. Glad to see I can get an awesome peppermint mocha closer to home now! My 2 yr old loves their hot chocolate and they make sure specifically that the kids hot chocolate isn't too hot for your little one! The chocolate covered espresso beans are a bonus.

Ordered 4 burritos for the first time. Never again the burritos are microwaved! Yes microwaved and all where cold in the middle. Only reason I give them 2 starts is because the bagel was made well and the coffee was good. I don’t like microwaved burritos for $7-8 each and have no taste.

Rating it a 3 because they aren't taking covid-19 precautions. Employees aren't wearing mask and they pass the debit credit card machine to each customer that drives through without cleaning it in between. I would love to go back if they worked on this. Plus side is once i got my hands clean i was able to enjoy the coffee it was rich in flavor and strong enough for me.

Came here for the first time and asked the girl who was working what’s the most popular signature drink and she replied in the most unamused and annoyed tone saying “they’re all popular” like how is that helpful??? Her attitude made it seem like she was FORCED to interact with me. Take your money somewhere else where the staff is HAPPY and willing to help you.

I prefer this place over any of the other coffee places that have popped up in the last few years and definitely more than that Seattle based place that recently just seems to be interested in driving away customers. Here you get a great drink AND a chocolate covered coffee bean! They have a wide selection of great tasting coffees and other drinks.

anticipated getting a coffee once the human bean opened: it is a new stand and I've seen it being build over the last 6 months; stopped by and got thr Irish Cream Breve' it's very light but still has the flavor of a nutty aromatic coffee. The drink was smooth and rich in flavor. I will definitely be stopping in to try a their drinks !!!

Was excited to try this. Waited in line for 15 min before we could even order and there were only 2 cars in front of me, while i watched the other line help about 4 cars that got there before me.. Ordered the caramel machiatto. Disappointed...very little flavor..could only taste some caramel and milk. No coffee flavor at all.

Girls here are AWFUL!! The worst customer service! I live right by this location and will most times go out of my way to go to the Starbucks. I went here for the first time the other day and I have to say that the staff is very friendly but the large iced latte with almond milk that I ordered tasted pretty watered down compared to all of the other coffee shops that I frequent. The three stars is for the staff's friendliness, not the drink.

I love this coffee place, the employees are very friendly and laid back and will help you find the right drink if you don't know what you're looking for. They have rockstar slushies that are amazing. The coffee is hands down the best, much better than that burnt bean juice Starbucks sells to you.

I love this place... BUT honestly the drinks infused with flavor just don't come out tasting like said flavor, and I have been unsatisfied with my drinks every other time I go... but like I said I love this place so I keep coming back. I recommend the Mocha Granita or frozen hot chocolate !

I ordered two items from this place about two hours ago via Grub Hub. I wanted a Ham, Cheese and Egg burrito and a Strawberry smoothie. I received a Strawberry Banana smoothie and a Potato, Cheese and Egg burrito. After two chances and two misses I have zero desires for another attempt.

Great prices. Super friendly staff and the best coffee in my opinion. I love their sausage egg and cheddar croissant and the iced snowy mocha. Yum! A regular stop for sure. They have great tea, Italian sodas, and smoothies for an afternoon treat or non coffee drinkers!

Took my nieces here to try something new. I got a strawberry banana smoothie. They got a Java Chip Frap and Acai smoothie. Drinks were good, kind of pricy and not super friendly staff. But would go again and maybe try something.
