Took some time to figure out how to put this… Recently attended a wedding; and as someone whose planned their own - it took time to wrap my brain around what our friends went through. Y’all know, planning weddings can be both the happiest time and the most stressful. AND NONE OF your vendors should be making that stress worse. Well, the Inn made our brides wedding stressful leading up to and EVEN DURING the wedding; they lacked decorum, attention to detail, professionalism and even talked badly behind the brides back. Yes, this place has quite a lot of really good reviews. But when you look, specifically at the reviews written about events - you’ll discover why the Inn’s rating is dropping. IF YOU ARE A BRIDE READING THIS - you want a company/venue that goes above and beyond for you. The Inn doesn’t; they put themselves first. They put in minimal effort, cared more about their bottom line (outrageous drink prices, tips being added to the drinks without patrons knowing + having a tip jar on the counter, they completely shattered the couples budget on top of giving them terrible advice around their food & wine service… leaving them with piles of food leftover and almost zero wine served to their guests at the actual wedding). Honestly, save yourself the headache. Furthermore, a company whose MANAGER will leave the most random 5 star review, to keep their rating up - is gross. Do better.

The kids and I did not stay at The Inn because we were at the airplane park right across the street from The Inn. But we did go into The Inn to buy some ice cream.... and even if we go in for something as simple as just buying ice cream ( which is hard ice cream & sooo yummy by the way) ... the service is always professional & fantastic. The little green garden area behind The Inn (just off of their patio, where people can eat) has picnic benches that are a continuation of their dining room and a beautiful little green park with a historic gazebo. This charming big tree laden park/ green space is surrounded by iron benches with beautiful pink rose bushes. Plus flanking the patio is is a homemade retro wooden swing hanging from the large tree limbs...for your further enjoyment. I love this place and I love the history of it too. We did not see the Inn's rooms but I imagine they are just as charming as a rest of the building is. It's all been renovated and it's just lovely. It has quite a history to it so it is an older building which makes it absolutely charming from the outside in.

We attended a wedding on October 8th, 2023 and wanted to let the management know that we received outstanding service from August. She was so very kind and considerate of our son who has autism. He is also a teenager, so grace is not always given as freely as to younger kids. She went out of her way to make sure his food was to his liking (he has food issues) and came back to check on him several times. When he sat out in the lobby because the dining room was too loud, she saw him and again made sure he was okay and comfortable. August went over and above her duties and it made our experience so much better! You never know how special needs will be met and I am so thankful that she was so kind and thoughtful. She is truly caring and considerate, and all the other staff were very professional and attentive as well. August deserves recognition for being so inclusive and I hope that the management knows they have an outstanding staff member in her. Thank you, The Babuk Family

Where do I start? I had my wedding here last weekend and I'm blown away by the level of service the Inn provided. From the very beginning, Moira/ Anton/ and Chef went above and beyond to insure my day was special. Chef accommodated my special requests for food options that weren't on the menu and Moira/ Anton accommodated my crazy requests for ideas that I had. The team never said no and would make anything work. Our guests are still talking about the food and what a great time they had. From start to finish it was an inviting atmosphere and the staff were amazing. Thank you so much to the team for making my dream wedding.

Our group of 18 family members celebrated an 85th Birthday in the beautiful Conservatory Saturday evening. Moira helped us plan such a memorable event enjoyed by all, and a pleasure from start to finish! The banquet staff took very good care of us, and Kristin and Radwan were so professional, friendly and fun. “The Birthday Girl” was thrilled with it all and EVERYONE loved the food! Delicious soup, salad, bread, main course and the “showstopper” cake! The Prosecco and selection of wines was perfect for our group. We couldn’t have been happier and would highly recommend The Conservatory at The Inn for a lovely special occasion.

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in the Queen Elizabeth Suite and it was amazing! The design of the suite was lovely, spacious and had everything one could want during an overnight stay. The Manager Antoun and his entire team were amazing! They were more than attentive and we enjoyed the opportunity to have a espresso and fresh baked treats from the coffee shop/bistro. We also had a delicious breakfast in the main dining room. The location, ambience, food and outstanding team make this a place to visit again!

The Inn on Officer’s Garden is a hidden gem. With it’s historic charm and contemporary elegance, you couldn’t find a more perfect wedding venue. The food is outstanding. The gardens provide the perfect backdrop for photos. Moira, the event coordinator was amazing to work with. She had wonderful ideas, was detailed oriented and nothing was too much trouble. Paulo, the banquet manager and the rest of the team provided attentive service. Mark, the executive chef worked with us to create a wonderful menu. Carly, the pastry chef’s wedding cake looked spectacular and tasted even better. I highly recommend you check into what the Inn can offer.

We were here after a concert with 6 of our friends! We had such a lovely meal, great service, wonderful conversation in this intimate and quiet dining room! The food was wonderful! Steaks were done to a tee. Prices are very reasonable for a couple on a special menu Sunday and Monday! With a bottle of wine and 3 set menu items $95.00. Salads were on the pricey side! A Ceasar from the bar was $10.00! Desserta are all $14.00. Menus and prices are all on lube! Check it out! I know that these prices are 2023, but I still find it tough to swallow! Nice time with great friends!

Stayed at the Inn for 2 nights this past weekend, Sept 16 for our sons wedding, Spectacular! from the moment you walk through the front door it is amazing, Antoun and his staff can’t help you enough, and all very professional. Chef and his staff the food served at the wedding was incredible, also I need to mention that I am Celiac and ordering off the menu and the lunch buffet accommodated my dietary need I never left the table hungry that’s forsure. We will absolutely be back and it will feel like going back home

I attended a birthday dinner for my Grandma which was hosted in the “Conservatory” room. This particular space was very well suited for a mid-sized family or business gathering (our group was roughly 20 people). The food and service were both excellent. Kristin, our sever, was very pleasant and kept everyone’s glasses topped up as we mingled about before dinner. Would absolutely recommend this venue for special occasions or other events meant to impress!

We attended a wedding this summer. And my husband and our friends were so disappointed on how the newlyweds were treated. During that night they the Inn staff were asking how they would pay the bill. Which is totally unprofessional. Also I would watch out what the bartenders are charging you for drinks a glass of wine was 20.16 and a beer was 15… which is absolutely ridiculous!!! I’m 100% sure the bartender was adding tips to our drinks. NOT OK!!!

I was here for a wedding and I can’t say enough good things. The venue and physical space is gorgeous! The service is amazing. The food was sensational. The maple butternut squash soup was so silky smooth and spiced perfectly. The scallops with a peach beurre blanc sauce were top-notch. My strip loin steak with mashed potatoes was a top 5 all time steak. All in all, bravo! My wife and I will be back!

We have had several beautiful relaxed lunches here. Food is top notch and the pastry chef knocks it out of the park with amazing desserts. Our new favourite restaurant. PS make sure you get some cookies in shop.

Great venue to host a birthday party! The events coordinator, Moira, was super helpful with our food & drinks order leading up to the event, and we were well looked after on the day. We rented the conservatory and loved how bright and airy the space was. The food was excellent, the cake was specially made gluten-free and dairy-free, and the service staff were attentive and thoughtful.

I was part of a wedding at this venue this past week, and it was absolutely beautiful! The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure the bride and groom had the most special day! The food was incredible. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place! Bravo!! We had our wedding here in August. We were super happy with the venue. They took care of the set up, take down, sound, catering and cake. The wait staff were a bit slow with bringing out the food and there were some unexpected fees. Overall, we’re thrilled with how it went and the venue looked beautiful.

Was a guest at a wedding last night. I cannot say enough about the Inn. They put on a spectacular wedding for my nephew and his wife!! The venue, staff, food were all excellent. Great Birthday Dinner at the Inn (first visit). Had great service from Don and the food was fantastic. Loved the Borsch (just like Mom used to make) and the Arctic Char was perfection. As a former Army Officer, it is nice to see the Mess have a second life. We will be back!
