Be very careful while selling books!! They offer unbelievably low price while stealing books kept on counter. I kept books on counter to sell, the guy bought one book from me from around 10 books, he gave me money then while keeping other books in bag he slid off one big book of electronics under the table, and wasn't making eye contact with me. I asked him he started stuttering and gave me the book back. While selling check the other stores as well for prices.

Jagdish book store has so many books availability and you don’t need to go anywhere, however the staffs are like hell rude. Even they talk to student rudely. They always point to go to any other person and ask him to buy. And when they feel they don’t want to sell a specific book or to buy the book as we want to sell. They people reject and say us to go for home and think again! One of the staff said me. This is really rude, I hope I won’t go there.

I saw 2 girls who come from chembur to return the books which was totally new and they had purchased the books from same store and the seller talk very rudely with them without taking books and waiting them for hours at the end the other shop of Jagdish book store at basement they requested over there and then they returned those books and all this happened infront of me which was quite bad impression for me!!!

Jagdish Book Depot is one of the best stores I had came across for all types of books. They keep new as well as used books. Their discounts are excellent. You can get all reference books, school books, college books, guides, and objective exam books over here. You can even sell your old books. Almost all books are available. It's a one stop book shop.

Every engineering student in the suburbs knows what this place is. One can get all sorts of undergraduate and post graduate books here. They buyback old books too. In the downstairs section that not many know off(ask the front counter guy) there is a godown filled with some of the olderst and rarest books and even magzines i guess.

I have purchased competitive book for maritime university,They have given that book to me for 400 rupees but the same book on flipkart is 370 rupees. I had found all the reference books that I wanted for civil engineering. They also have second hand books but only during the beginning of the semester as people then. They do have textbooks but I don't recommend them as they are syllabus oriented with least proof reading.
