I’ve used their services for a while. It has been pretty good but the most recent experience has been negative. I’m never going back here again. They damaged one of my favorite shirts and did not take accountability for it. They do not have insurance and they don’t simply care about items. They also lost a Shirt and I’ve never been able to find it. It was a Marks and Spencer shirt. The worker there told me it was moved to another outlet and the head office told me it never came. Clearly there is a disconnect. I contacted their senior management to resolve this unfortunately they too don’t have a customer centric attitude (no progress is made - it’s been years). They called listened and said they will find / help resolve my issue - yet they ended up ignoring and rejecting my calls. If it’s for basic cleaning this place is alright. But if you have something delicate, something with sentimental value I suggest going premium and getting another more professional service such as cinnamon lakeside - mistakes happen, dealing with professionals is less daunting. Even if monetary compensation is not possible - the right attitude and professionalism goes a long way. Up to date they have not admitted officially they have lost the item, nor have they apologized. A worker there unofficially told me that it was donated to some place. It was a 33,000/= shirt. 22 Sept 2023: The review response arrives on time to leverage Google algorithm to make it seem like they care. However, I have not been contacted yet. This is the same response I got when I called them. Read through other reviews there are a lot of people that have lost articles - a lot more who don’t bother to submit a review.

They ruined our wedding dresses just before the wedding day. The buttons of me and my bestmen suits were missing and they argued with us saying may be those weren't there initially. After we asked them to fix those, surprisingly they found the buttons the next day from nowhere after wasting our time. We found that the back side of brides dress is burned on the wedding day morning. We had time to fix it with the help of family and friends after going through a lot. Laundromat promised us to provide us a claim to compensate but after taking around a month they refused to give the compensation saying it all happened before a month. Never recommend this place to anyone who is looking for laundry services. 26/09/2023 There is no response on the claim they promised us to the date. It was very unprofessional of them to not taking responsibility of what they did to our wedding suits and my wife's dress. Never give any of your valuable suits to these people to press or dry clean as they will destroy those for sure. Instead of going to these people get it done from Cinnamon lakeside. LAUNDROMAT EMPLOYEES STEAL CLOTHES! ❌❌ This is to complain about the poor service I recently received from the Laundromat Glomark Malabe Branch. I had informed the branch a couple of times since the beginning of this year regarding two expensive branded shirts that has been misplaced by the company. The staff at the place accepted that they had misplaced the above-mentioned shirts but had no solution to it. This is not the first time this has happened and it only happens with the branded shirts, which suggests that these are not misplaced but rather stolen. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated because not only were my shirts stolen, but the management was not bothered to find it or give me a solution. To this date I have not received a response from head office regarding this matter! I expected a much higher level of service from a company such as yours, and as a loyal customer who has been coming for many years, I am quite disappointed. This is a pathetic service. Please look into it, and take quick action to my complaint. I will be informing my friends and family about this experience as no one else should face such a situation.

Your standard has deteriorated. Gave in a school blazer for dry cleaning. Came back with the lapels crushed. It was sent back in again whilst I waited. And it came back again crushed. Asked for the Manager. But instead of the Manager somebody else (non-English speaking person) came out and was clueless about what a properly pressed blazer ought to look like. I walked out frustrated. This is not the first time either. Gave an Indian saree once before for pressing and when we took it off the hanger at home, we found that it was not pressed at all! Called and complained. Obviously there is a serious lapse of supervision/quality control and/or untrained staff being used. Will not be using your services again. Check your system for a school blazer (amongst a couple other items) that was picked up today around 2.30pm and you should be able to look into the matter if you’re sincerely interested in improving your poor service standards.

I was a regular customer to Laundromat till (around) 2007, and have not visited them for the last 12 to 13 years, till a few days ago. I was impressed. They still maintain the same standards that I had become accustomed to. they have a smallish reception area. however, it is well lit and air-conditioned. The staff are very pleasant, courteous, friendly and efficient. I was impressed. I handed over about 20 pieces of clothing for dry cleaning. The service was efficient. On collection, I found every item well packed. I had accidentally kept back one parcel, and not noticed it. A few days later I received a call informing me that I had left behind one parcel and that I should collect it as soon as possible. I found this collection process hassle free, and the staff were (as usual) friendly and helpful. Well done Laundromat.

I have used this laundry from the time it was first established, till they lost three bedsheets of mine. I came again to this laundry after nearly 10 years. The shareholders had changed then, At first the service was good and they had a manager who knew me earlier. I am so sorry to say since then the service has deteriorated. The last string was when they somehow poked tiny holes in my shirts near the collar. I lost 5 shirts because of this. The day I went to complain (Thursday September 17th early afternoon) I asked for the manager or the supervisor to show what they had done. There was no one responsible and they acted as they did not realy care. I was just another customer with a complaint and I am sure they get a whole lot of complaints!! They are so used to it.

Their services have improved since the acquisition by Celsius (bedding) group. Dry cleaning and pressing are as good as ever and the status of orders are updated by SMS. So far, the items have always been ready at the stated date. It is also possible to arrange free pick up and delivery within the day or next day of ordering via WhatsApp and pay by cash or card on delivery. Staff are very efficient so pick up or drop off is quick at the Colombo 3 branch (haven't visited others). Drop off is also possible after hours when their outlet is closed and billing will be done later during office hours but pick up cannot be done after hrs. Their prices are on their website. All in all, efficient and predictable service making laundry very convenient.

I was in Srilanka to attend a wedding & used this place. I had gotten matching lehenga for bridesmaids.They misplaced one of my daughter’s expensive lehenga. Called them multiple times & was there at the store for 2 hours thinking they are going to find it for me. I didn’t get the dress for the occasion & ended up going shopping for my daughter on the day of the function. My daughter is so frustrated that she couldn’t wear the matching dress as others she was planning to wear for months. I was leaving Sri Lanka in few days, still no positive response after multiple calls. My short stay in SL just to attend a wedding was not so pleasant because of this unprofessional laundry. Do not use this place just for the way they handled my case.

Irresponsible people. I was told my laundry will be done and ready for collection by Thursday. Having had no response till Saturday, called them up, but nobody picked up. Turned up there in person and a guy said it's ready and handed me back a part of my laundry together with someone else's shirt. When I pointed this out he went back in, spent twenty minutes inside and came back saying one of the shirts were not done and that they needed a couple more hours. Turned up in person, a couple hours later to be told that it won't be ready for another two days. At this point Im worried that they have misplaced it all together. Waste of money, time and energy. Would not recommend.

THE WORST LAUNDRY YOU CAN GO TO! I gave them 4 very expensive suits to dry clean and the pictures I have uploaded on Facebook reviews speaks for the quality of work. The Medici suit has three creases and the suits are wrinkled to a level I can never imagine. Even a blind man could feel the wrinkles on the suit. Even the paddings are wrinkled. Lapels are wrinkled like stiched. Useless! Don’t get fooled by the videos of the influencers. I should have never given my suits to them. However I appreciate the fact that they contacted me told me they’d re do and apologised. But I can never trust their work. Dear Laundromat, it was my first and last experience with you.

Don't Bother they don't need your business? RS370 per item this is not a typo and three yes 3 days standard or price goes even higher? I'm taking them cheap T-Shirts not suits or wedding outfit... Almost cheaper to buy T-shirt new . Maybe it's because I'm foreigner, they weren't helpful with explaining they all had vacant expressions? Puzzled I asked: 1. if it was because of dry cleaning? No ? 2. if it was Pressing ironing had been included? No? So I'm very confused Maybe I don't understand this crazy place. I can see I'm not alone. My review is accurate and my motivation here is to protect others from the experience. Try somewhere else.

My wife gave 4 items for dry cleaning on 6th March 2023 and after getting confirmation that it was ready I went to collect it from Thunmulla branch on 8th. I waited for 20 minutes as the person who accepted the bill didn't appear at the counter. When I spoke to another one from the staff he checked from the computer and said it was not ready. I could identify our clothes hanged behind the counter and told the staff so but he said he has to confirm it by looking at the bill which was with the missing staff member. Finally when I came home and checked the stain which was on one of the jackets was still there. They have not removed that.

Worst customer service experience ever had. Recently I send a white shirt to dry clean on a Wednesday and pick up was on a Saturday. There was a stain in my collar which there wasn’t when I hand over (there fault) and they asked me to come back on Sunday which I had my presentation. On Sunday when I went to pick it up they were keeping me for a 1/2 hour and informed me that it will take another hour to do the cleaning. I had to buy a new shirt for the presentation and when I complained it to the complain manager she took another week to give me my shirt. Altogether I had to keep my shirt for 3weeks with them. Good Job

Four of my blazers were handed over for pressing on 05-August-2023. Received them on 10-August-2023, with MULTIPLE CREASES, TORN EDGES. I had to iron them myself and mend the hemlines. Why would I pay for a service if I have to redo them myself again at home? I have been depending on Laundromat for over 10 years and in 2023, this is the standard they have stooped low to. Terrible workmanship. A toddler can do a better job of ironing a blazer. Either give your employees a proper training on how to handle fabric or shut down your business without destroying your customers’ clothes.

Bad Service and it is overpriced as well. I gave my clothes to them to wash it and they don't even asked If I want to wash it per KG or every single Item. So they took the single items and I got a massive bill, 10 times higher than my usual laundry bill. It would have been okay when the clothes would be clean after the service, but they were NOT clean and it also took 3 days longer than any other laundry Service. I really cannot recommend this laundry place. I am more than disappointed from their customer Service.

This is the place where i used to give my all heavy cloths for washing and functional wears for dry cleaning. They take much care of our clothes. very reaponsible and reliable. It's crowded if you go in rush hours like after 4pm. it's always better to go in the morning hours. limited parking available. Very Friendly staff. Fast service. once they missed my pillow case and they paid me for that. Price is ok. But i dont think this prices are reasonable if you do regularly have cloths to pay and wash.

They lost so many of my dresses. I want laundramat to buy me the dresses or pay me for the lost dress. This has been happening for a very long time. I'm not going to come to laudromat anymore. very poor service. so many of my dad's shirts and white cloths are dirt and damaged. We are regular customer and they refused to the jacket for pressing as they said they are full. Wanted an Express service for which they charged thrice the normal price to be collected in 15 hours - it's fine but the rates were double when we called them. A couple of issue - they need improve on customer service in more than points Secondly, an internal issue, one to balance demand & supply - have been in business for quite some time. Extremely unprofessional and rude security guard outside the premises, on the road. Average height, skinny and dark-skinned. This guy screams at customers and the public. Ask your minor staff to stop acting like they are the CEO of the company and teach them how to deal with your customers and the public in a professional and respectful way without acting like a road thug. We do not expect such behavior from a reputed and large-scale company like you. Not recommended at all.

My order number is RE00429531 I gave my shirts with stains to laundromat & and they told me it will take 05 days to process, so I said ok and gave it to them. They took 06 days to the process but I’m impressed because the stains were in the shirts were gone and some slight stains were there but they have put a note saying thise stains cannot removed. So thanks for the job you’ll did. I told this to the counter Person in thunmulla as well. Recommended place to wash shirts.

If I had an option I would've not even given one star. I went there today as I have told them to deliver my clothes 3 days ago, they didn't do it. I went and asked and they said it's ready and when I told them to deliver they said clear no. They need full amount and then in return they are zero as professionals zero as humans and zero in their service. Also their customer service representative and the outlet have no coordination. They are a big zero!

I went there this morning to get some items dry cleaned via express service but to my disappointment the person behind the counter said "we can't do it". I asked him "then why have you advertised, don't you think you wasted my time coming here". He kept quite. I'm really disappointed as you wasted my time and money. Lesson learned - never go there again, even though they lead the trade they can't deliver good service when you need it the most..

Don’t go here if you’re a tourist/backpacker looking to do laundry. They charge by item rather than weight, and only tell you the price once they’ve taken your clothes and written up and printed an invoice. It ended up being the most expensive load of laundry I’ve ever done (11,700 rs). Although I’m sure it’s reasonable if you have just one or two items to clean. Also the service is slow and some of the staff were rude and unprofessional.

One of the worst places in Colombo. Would not recommend. 01. They lost one of my shirts and took forever to respond with an actual feedback. I had to call about 15 times to get feedback. 02. After calling for about a month and they agreed to give vouchers which I refused because why would you trust these guys with your laundry again. If you don't want your items lost, then go somewhere else. They don't even deserve one star.

If you are a traveller DO NOT GO HERE. The staff could only offer a wash, dry and iron with a 4 day turnaround time. The staff were very rude and would not even attempt to accommodate JUST a wash and dry. If they attempted to iron some of our clothes they actually would have melted as you cannot iron some of the lightweight sportswear fabrics we are travelling with. Absolutely astonished by how terribly rude these guys were!

Charged me for dry cleaning my suit jacket but the stain was not removed at all. Refused to give me a refund and offered to redo the job, but it was too late as I needed to jacket cleaned for an event. Complaints department was extremely rude and went as far as to say "I don't care what you want" Extremely unprofessional and downright abysmal customer service. worst customer service ever !!! they delivered the wrong saree AND suit for the function I have to attend tomorrow morning !!! and I called 20 times !!! No one picks up! NEVER rely on this place ! I give my all cloths to Thunmulla Laundormat, I had a bad experience with Laundormat 04 years back with my fathers cloths. But, with all my doubts I gave my 02 suits and mothers saree & 1 frock for them to dry clean. It was very well done. I’m happy about the service they offered this time to me. Since I had a bad impression earlier, it got cleared this time therefore I wanted to share the feeling.

These guys offer very good service. The customer service personnel are pretty well trained. They even have their own car park area just on the other side of the road, hence making it very convenient. They even provide delivery services within Colombo city limits when you place an order online. Need to note that they've changed their operating hours slightly as a result of the pandemic.

Honestly, they are not that bad is some of reviews do say.. but I only use their services to dry clean wedding wears and suites so my review could be very selective on that sector. Throughout the years I have given them to dry clean I never had an issue until recently when they delivered my clothes a week later.. other than that really good service.

My mother took a brand new saree to press at this location and they tried to return us an old saree. Some how they have given it to a different customer and when they returned the correct saree back to us, we can see it's worn by the other person. We are really disappointed with this type of service. Please be aware of their services.

They have always been great. Been there a few times and at times there's a bit of a wait but their services are very competitively priced and also dependable. I recommend them wholeheartedly! Another thing to note is that a lot of companies seem to use them as well which only further strengthens my belief that they are awesome :D

They misplaced a dress of mine, and I notified them. Afterwards they found out, but they didn’t deliver it immediately. They took more than 4 working days - also they wanted to charge the deliver fee, I was hesitant to pay since it’s not my mistake. Finally I got the dress after 4-5 working days. Gave 2 suits to dry clean and press, one suit came back neither dry cleaned nor pressed. Required that particular color for a function. When I called the place to quickly get it atleast pressed. They said they’re about to close and cannot correct their own mistake. Paid for nothing. Do not recommend this place at all.

I placed the order on the 4th of November and the items were collected on the 6th of November. However, it is disappointing to note that I have not yet received the items today being the 19th of November. Every day I have been getting msgs saying the items will be delayed by 2 extra days.
