December 2020- My husband and I went in for a consultation and got an informative response regarding our immigration journey. 1-130 and I-601A. The way Nabil Ansara gave us the information to us to see was organized and gave a good breakdown of the process to come. We are excited to start our journey with Alcock and associates Edit: communication is not being fulfilled. I have no idea what is happening,my calls and e-mails are not being responded. I Will give an update if anything changes. We were assigned to Lisa Elkin Update: I received a call back and was told they were missing information on the I-6f01A This is the reason I was calling to make sure they received my email and nothing was missing on my part. Instead I didn't get an email or call stating they are still missing my husbands info. Better communication could have solved this issue. I hope this isn't continuing behavior and this was just one mistake. Timeline: i-601A received by USCIS on January 17, 2021 Update: August 15, 2023 Case got switched to attorney Necole Walloch. I received a phone call from Alcock and associates asking if I had any questions (still waiting for approval on i-601A) therefore I set up an appointment to meet with Necole for an introduction and questions I had. I inquired if we are still on the right track and if advanced parole is an option for my husband who Is a Daca recipient and came unlawfully to the U.S. I was told that Yes he indeed was. I replied asking why this option was not done instead of the I-601A which we are currently doing with them. Her reply was back in December 2020 when we went for our consultation this was not an option, but since then it has changed allowing him to be able to GAIN lawful entry into the United States through advance parole (I-131) I want to add that I was NEVER contacted by Lisa Elkin, our original attorney or anyone from Alcock and associates regarding new information that would change the course of my husbands immigration journey. (Advance parole would gain him Lawful entry therefore making his green card appointment here in the state instead of going through the consular process in Mexico). I expressed my disappointment to Necole that this information was never given to me and If I had not found this information on my OWN, we would still be waiting for my husbands I-601A approval. She knew I should have been called and have been notified of this big change. Necole offered PRO BONO services for my husbands advanced parole to permanent residency journey. She was nice and let me know I could contact her directly if I had any questions. I appreciate her acknowledging their mistake and offering to fix it. I will continue to make updates

Worst experience ever with this firm. My mother was incarcerated on 10/31/23 in the morning. We hired this firm the same day she got arrested. When we were there the assistant or accountant kept telling me and my siblings that they couldn’t find any information on my mom after her arrest since it had happened that same morning. They told us that we would be receiving a call later that day “as soon as they have more information” and the name of attorney that would be assigned to my mom’s case, THEY NEVER DID CALL! Me and my siblings literally had to look up and ended up finding all of my mom’s information FOR OURSELVES. We called them to let them know she had an IA court appearance later that night they told us that they would “immediately” notify the attorney and that he was going to show up, HE NEVER SHOWED UP!!! The court nor my mother knew that she had an attorney they assigned her a public defender !! After seeing her IA court appearance through zoom and seeing that they did not show up for her after being hired that same day is truly shocking and disgusting. Me and my siblings kept trying to call the firm they would only take messages and NEVER CALL BACK!! My mom had her next court appearance on 11/07/23 since being incarcerated on 10/31 they NEVER TRIED SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE HER OR GATHER INFORMATION FROM HER REGARDING HER CASE !!! I WILL BE FILING A BAR COMPLAINT AGAINST THE LAWYER THAT DID NOT DO HIS JOB. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!! We ended up getting a new lawyer right before her court date 11/7 that actually does his job, calls us back and did everything with short notice before my mom’s court date!! If you want to win your criminal case this is NOT the place for you.

During the intro process Nabil was very helpful and reassuring. He heard the situation and introduced me with the lawyer b he felt was best suited for my case. I think they make a great team and I feel well equipped for a difficult divorce. I have since received temporary order for 50/50 custody of my children. While there have been some obstacles I’m hopeful to have them soon. There are still pending matters and will update my review following the outcomes.

At the end to tell me there was no hope for my husbands case. They don’t tell you things upfront to get you into a contract. I would not recommend doing business with them.
