Disrud violates Federal Regulations by offering representation in VA claims cases. The VA confirms that he is not accredited by them and is not qualified or legally permitted to offer such services. He illegally extracts advanced payments from Disabled Veterans who seek his help. His only proven expertise is in avoiding accountability for his actions. Many other reviews also report that never performs any services after taking a Veteran's money and has been successfully "storefronting" for many years.

Jon has been my divorce attorney for over a year and beginning to end he has been amazing. I truly feel he is my corner. He aggressively fights for me and has an extensive knowledge of texas divorce and custody law. When I first met with him he predicted how the entire case would go and he hasn't been wrong once. Fantastic lawyer! I took my divorce case to Mr. Disrud when the original lawyer I hired stalled the process and didn’t make any progress. Mr. Disrud handled everything, including informing the other lawyer that their services were no longer needed. Once Mr. Disrud took over, my divorce progressed and was finalized. Since my divorce, I have had Mr. Disrud also take care of a modification order and an enforcement order. If needed, I would use Mr. Disrud’s services again.

I'm very disappointed with Jon Disrud. Do not waste your money and time. He doesn't explain the process, break down of communication, doesn't provide documents, hard to get a hold of and delays the case so he can charge more $$$. It's sad to say that this person used the military to gain my trust. My one year case was wrapped up in less than 2 months with my new lawyer.
