I was sceptical when I first met him. Very salesy approach which you don’t or shouldn’t expect. He was flicking through his ‘before and afters’ catalogue of patients whose situations were not even the same as mine. I should have gone with my instinct. Not sure why I didn’t. I wish I had. Next.. I booked for the three sessions of recommended sclerotherapy. Two in same week. (Mon and Wed) Told him what meds I was on (B1 and HRT). Thurs night short of breath, Friday morning 6.20am in Emergency, DVT resulting in pulmonary embolism x 3 in my lung. Bloody serious and was certainly not expecting that, having been healthy in my 56 years. However it was not so much this but HOW I HAVE NEEN TREATED SINCE. The night I came out of hospital I emailed to say what had happened as per their guidelines they send you. He called and said he wasn’t going to do third treatment and sent me a script. I emailed straight back to ask whether this was in addition to what the hospital registrar had given me or instead of. Nothing. No response. Checked with my GP- would’ve been an overdose if I had taken both. Messaged them again almost 2 weeks ago to check whether there are any other considerations I should think about and to confirm whether I should not have the final treatment. Nothing. It’s like he has wiped my record but I have receipts and the script he sent. This is the first review I have ever done on anything or anyone ever, but feel it’s important if you are considering this for yourself.

About 6 months ago Dr Kemp treated varicose veins in right leg, I had them pretty bad around my knee and inner thigh. The results have been fantsatic, there was no undue pain or discomfort during or post the treatment. I had the treatment in the morning and was back at work (in an office) after lunch. Dr Kemp has a great manner and him and his team make the process as stress free as possible. Have recommended Dr Kemp to my family and was actual put on to the practice by a reccomendation.

I saw Dr Kemp in mid May for the treatment of a varicose vein in my right leg. I receive my treatment a few weeks later and went for my last check up in the week just been. I’m amazed with my results and can’t thank the team at The Leg Vein Doctor enough. They explained everything in depth and answered all my questions. Thank you all so much!

Excellent results were achieved with my spider vein treatment. dr Kemp is very professional, knowledgeable and has a lovely facility with friendly staff. Compression stockings are available on site as well as a treadmill for walking after treatment (unlike other clinics I have encountered). I would definitely recommend dr Nicholas Kemp.

Honestly, I feel incredibly disappointed with the effect after treatment. Before, I probably had only one % of that bad situation what I have now. So, I canceled my second treatment. From my personal experience, I can see that The Leg Vein Doctor Clinic it is just a professional advertisement campaign, and nothing more.

All of the Dr's initial consults include an ultrasound to make sure that there are no underlying issues causing the spider veins. I went for spider vein treatment and found out that I do have an underlying issue that would have caused the spider veins to reappear immediately following standard treatment. Recommended.

I felt uncomfortable during my appointments. Veins grew back after treatment. Edit: I'm not sure it would be in your best interest for me to explain on a public review why I was uncomfortable. Veins came back after 12 months. There was no investigation for the cause before treatment which I regret.

Absolutely awesome. The ladies are so personable and Dr Kemp is extremely qualified, and takes his time to make sure he has done everything 100%. Awesome bedside manner and would not go anywhere else. Could not speak more highly of this place and everyone that works there.

Doctor Kemp is a very professional and considerate doctor. I was diagnosed DTV about 5 years ago when I was in Brisbane. Visited the clinic several times for regular ultrasound tests and prescription. Truly appreciate and respect him.
