Average laundromat. The facility has the basic 1 small and 7 medium washing machines, 2 extra large dryers and 4 standard dryers. It also has a soap dispenser. It’s fairly clean and the prices are pretty standard. The reason for 2 stars is that the machines are only coin operated, no eftpos. Also that there isn’t a change machine in the facility. I know the eftpos machines might be asking a bit much but to have no change machine in a laundromat is well below standard. No other business will give change, the newsagents next door specifically had a sign stating no change will be given for the laundromat. So either bring change ($1, $2 or 20c) or you’ll have to go to Rosny to a bank.

What kind of laundrette in this point in history doesn't have a change machine?? Washers take only $1 coins and the dryers take $1 and $2. Went to buy something from the newsagents nearby and asked for $1's in the change. She told me they have none. I said that's fine, keep the scratchie then and suddenly she had 4 to give. You'd think local businesses would take advantage of the extra foot traffic in their stores. I'll remember to take a big bag of change and leave that newsagent to her morning paper. Also, word of warning, the washing powder is 20 cents (20c only accepted) but it will cling to your clothes long after the wash. Like the opening hours though.

Timing are now extended to 10:00 pm which is great. Clean place to sit and read as well. There is free soap incase if you have forgotten yours. Good selection of magazines as well. You can read if you have enough time. 7 dryers available and 2 big ones if you want to dry blankets or curtains. 1 front load and 8 top loading machines. Cards and coins accepted only. Min dry $4 on card for 16 mins. There is a lot of parking space. Incase if you can’t find parking in the front. You can easily park the car at the back. Opening time 6:00 am.

Shocking! What Laundromat in this day & age does not have a coin machine! Open 7 days a week & you have to hunt around for $1 coins!!! It is not clean, machines are tiny & at $5 a load, really expensive! Plus there is a stupid sign on the dryers referring to unattended tea towels cause fires so if this happens their insurer will be looking for persons responsible to recoup their money!!! Actually if you run a business it is up to the operator to cover this not the customer shall not return!!!!!!!

I’d have given “0” star. Washing machine only accepts $1 coin and they don’t have coin changer. Called in the help number, the lady was so annoyed. Then she told me to go to the nearest bakehouse bakery shop, as they have deal with her. But unfortunately I didn’t get change there as well. They were kind of rude. The machine labels are not proper. I had to change the machine twice. In the washing machine, no place for softner. At the end not a good one.

We went here when my washing machine was broken. The Lost Sock is quite clean and tidy. There are many machines and parking lots. It is convinient. Moreover, they provide a big waiting space with chairs. Quick wash as well. However, you should bring enough coins with you if you don't want to run around to exchange because they accept $1 coin only for washing and no coin changer. Quite expensive cost for wash and dry.

Lots of washing machines and dryers. Clean and comfy. Would be the warmest place in winter . Bring lots of $1 coins as the shops around here don't like helping out to change money lol. If you are heading east make sure you do your washing before you go cause there isn't much to choose from towards Bicheno, Freycinet etc …

The owner is a really nice lady . She does a great job Tidy premises, easy to use machines Convenient . Plenty of parking. Take the correct change with you because other businesses locally don't give out change . Happy days . Its a self serve laundromat. Lucky to have it there really

How do expect anyone to have $5 per wash worth of $1 coins when you do have a change machine. I even went to the extreme of buying something for change and I still didn't have enough. I gave up after half hour of trying to get enough change for 4 loads of washing. Get with the times!

I did my laundry here at 9am today. The machines were not clean and the floor was absolutely filthy. As opening hours are from 7am i would have thought the cleaning would be attended at the close of business each day. This customer will not be returning.

Went here before we got our washing machine , nice and clean heaps of local advertising in the building...and easy to get change from The Bakery down the road , car parking around the back lots of magazines to read , and looked after well …

Rude grumpy owner, old expensive machines, no change machine or eftpos/credit card capacity. the machines work, so if you are desperate it's better than being stinky. I'll go out of my way to get a better service next time

Washing machines cost $5 to $7 (in one dollar coins only) and no coin machine. Not many shops near by willing to give you change. Place is clean and machines worked just fine.

Glad to see you guys have EFTPOS options as well as coins. I came prepared, only would have been improved by a radio or a tv? But ultimately a good experience!!

No coin change available. Other than that exactly what you would expect including powder at 20c. Plenty of large machines. Washing $5 and we dried it for $4.

I'm a bit disappointed that after 2 months they still haven't fixed the Queen front loading machine sign says being serviced how long does it take?

Great laundry mat. It's great now you can pay with a card or cash. This makes life so much easier rather than running around trying to find change.

Would have given 5 ***** if I didn't have to put my work clothes through two washes to get them properly clean. Nice and quiet with little traffic

Would be better if they cleaned there washing machines properly instead of just wiping them out always leaves dirty marks on dark clothing

All the necessary tools, in good condition, and all detergents on hand. Overall, exactly what you need when you have the need to clean.

All.machines are of same size and do not offer doona or comforter type bulky wash!! Waste of travel to this wash shop.

Launderette now has card facilities for washing and drying (new owners). No more carrying coins …

Excellent laundromat. Free soap, and paywave on each machine makes it super easy for travelers.

Place is ok and has enough machines but there is no charge machine and limited facilities.
