This is conveniently located outside of Target and would be an excellent place to stop for post shopping coffee if it weren't for a few significant issues; The coffee is passable. Not spectacular but not awful. There seems to be a good range of coffees available too. The cakes are tiny - as you can see from the pictures and the prices are outrageously expensive. It's important to remember that the placement of the shop is outside "Target" and as such, you'd expect your people traffic to be fairly thrifty. We had a bad experience with one of their cakes which tasted like it was made with off-milk. My wife raised the matter with the manager who said that the cakes had only been delivered four days previously, refused to test it himself and blamed everything from the coconut to us just not knowing what the cake was supposed to taste like. To his credit, we were refunded the cost of the cake. The table service was very good and disabled access is excellent. At this stage, we're not planning on going back. My advice is to lower the prices and concentrate on serving the customer streams in the area. If that means simpler options, then so be it. Gluten free, vegetarian and halal friendly are all great "options" but they're not necessarily going to be to everyone's taste. If you're making significant changes to the ingredients in your food then you need to make sure that the buyers are aware.

A lavish yet filling breakfast is my ultimate weakness. And my partner, for sure, knows how to make my mornings better; by treating me with this breakfast spread. My Tuesday morning started on a romantic and positive note, with this delicious breakfast at the @Qube. We ordered for Zucchini Fritters and Mediterranean Veggie Breakfast for the perfect start of the day. Not just that, they served Toby Estate's Coffee which was exactly what we wanted. The Zucchini Fritters were extra crispy and extra tasty and served with Avocado, Sourdough and Porched Eggs. While the Mediterranean Veggie Breakfast filled our tummies and hearts with happiness. Since I ain't a fan of tomatoes, we got it customized by replacing the roasted tomatoes with hash browns. The ambience was great and the service was even better. No complaints here. Qube Kaffeine and Kitchen is a small yet cozy cafe located just outside of Target at Castle Towers. It's an ideal place for breakfast and coffee lovers. Now it's high time that I head to the Qube again to explore their lunch menu.

I have ordered today (30 July 2023) wild mushrooms omelette & Latte large. The latte was good, But I was really disappointed with the omlette as it was served warm not hot, with dry edges and the overall taste was far below the mininmum expectation I had ever imagined ( I can do it better 100 times and I am not a chief). In addition that the portion is small in addition that it was hardly contained any mushrooms. I am sorry to say that the food was not worth the amount I have paid to it (23 AUDs!!!). Basides that the waiters were very pushy. I didn't like their way. The overall experience was not good and I will never come here again & I won't recommend it again for anyone.

We visited Target on a quiet Sunday morning and thought we would try this cafe. We ordered the wild mushroom omelette which was a little oily but otherwise filling with a hash brown. We also got a cappuccino and hot chocolate with some tiramisu waffle which turned out tastier than we expected. Noticed that they had a halal meat products certificate from BAE but didn't check on the details. Pricing seems a little on the higher side but expected with the location and the foot traffic here. Seating is a little close and cosy with smaller tables but as space in Castle Towers is at a premium, it makes sense they'd try to make the most of it to survive as a profitable business.

I came here today, 22nd October, around 4pm. My family and I were treated poorly by the waitresses. In hospitality a smile goes a long way, all we saw were frowns, you’d think after 4 months of lockdown they’d be happy to be working again. After I had ordered, I had to amend my order when the waitress told me to wait while she cleans a table, I waited 15 minutes until I was served again. I would understand had it been busy and people were waiting to be served, however this was not the case. After leaving I thanked the waitress (wish I hadn’t) who literally starred at me in response. I hope you change your attitude, or find another job if you hate it so much. Such a shame to be writing this food considering the desserts were amazing.

Qube Kaffine and kitchen combines modern Australian cuisine with middle eastern cuisine. The food here is good. However, I had the medditarian penne pasta and I found it a very strange fusion. I would rate it a 7 / 10. The other dishes such as the platters are wonderful. Fresh, seasoned perfectly and presented wonderfully. Today, my friend had the fish. Although the salad was slightly too sour, the fish is light and chips as always are wonderful. Main comment is to turn down the onions on the penne, and also clean up the salt and pepper grinders as the stickers are falling off. The staff are very warm and welcoming. Good cafe, however, a few things to make it into a 5 star review. Will recommend for a quick coffee and tea though.

Can be delicious, but patchy quality that seems to depend on who’s working on any given day. Kitchen staff are then defensive if you point out any problems and want to charge you extra to fix their mistake. Probably won’t be back as I don’t feel like gambling with my money that competent staff will be working on whatever day I happen to be there. A shame though as the coffee can be great, as is the chocolate soufflé. Odd that something as complex as a soufflé can be done correctly when they’re incapable of reliably reproducing a three ingredient smoothie. Had the staff just fixed the issue this wouldn’t have been a problem, but the kitchen staff were tools about it so here we are.

The dine-in experience was not pleasant due to the fact that the coffee was served incorrectly. Despite being reminded, the Asian individual did not seem to care. My coffee was given to me in a tumbler, and one of the three orders was forgotten, which I had to remind them of. Additionally, the milkshake was served in a metal container instead of a glass, which seemed strange and impolite. When I asked for the milkshake to be served in a glass container, they did not apologize or even smile, giving off an unfriendly vibe. Overall, the people at the establishment were not very warm or accommodating.

  • Marg L

Waiting on coffee ordered we sat at one of the tables so my daughter could have something to eat. 10 min in, one of the staff asked if we were eating there. I advised we were ordering our coffees. She then said you can’t sit there we are closed and cleaning the area. Quite abrupt and rude, possibly an owner. If our coffees weren’t already paid for we would’ve left. She then sees us waiting for our coffee and quickly turned away. Next time they can shove their coffee up their ….

Staff were friendly but the Children's pancake at $12.90 for one single piece with no fruits, just literally one dried pancake with nothing else is just gouging. Sometimes there is a fine difference between making a healthy profit and price gouging, this is clearly the latter. There's no issue with charging $12.90 in 2022 but for not if you're just going to slap one pancake with nothing else on the children's menu. This review is not to chastise you but hopefully it makes you rethink what's presented and results in a change.

This used to be one of my go to places in Castle towers because all the other cafes charge a massive premium on very basic dishes. Come 2022, the menu prices have increased significantly. It's almost $30 for the mixed plate skewers. Everything in the lunch menu cost at least $20. The food is nice but I don't think I'll pay that much for food. Will still visit here once in a while.

I have eaten here many times in the past and had always recommended it. No more. Table service has been replaced with counter ordering & the level of service has disappeared with it. My husbands food was stone cold, mine was flavourless. His banana smoothie was full of banana flavoured syrup & was sickly. As it was all prepaid, no one was interested in the feedback.

We recently dined here, Its located just outside of Target at Castle Towers. We were greeted upon arrival and showed to our seats. Very friendly and smiley service, they popped over to check on us frequently. We ordered the marinated lamb platter (for 2) everything on the plate was delicious could not fault the taste, and the lamb was cooked to perfection, there was plenty of food for 2 people. We had a great experience dining here, and we are looking forward to returning to try other food options.

  • Totro Cole

Staff are so sweet and welcome, the manager also explained the menu thoroughly and was accommodating to our dietary need. Food was amazing, we tried the chicken skewers platter, meat and dip were fresh and tasty. We didn't have room for dessert unfortunately, but looking at the menu, I'd definitely save some space for dessert as they look yummy. The place has a nice ambience and home feeling to it, overall a very satisfying experience.

JUL22: still missing the knafeh but... This place is back, saw the original chef, maybe that's something to do with it but the chicken and the lamb wraps today were on point. Welcome back Qube! MAR22: Bring back the Knefe! To be service used to be great, food was good but loyalty was only to the Knefe. What have you done?! UPDATE: unfortunately this used to be out go to at the Towers, it's generally gone down hill here. fondue is not Cottee's Chocolate syrup. Food didn't taste fresh.

  • Simmi

The most enjoyable dish was baked ricotta cheesecake. Simple strawberry smoothie said it had real strawberries (which means there should have been bits of seeds, but none to be found), tasted the strong artificial strawberry flavouring. Iced coffee was alright not that strong, intally it was mistakenly brought to me as an iced latte. The Mediterranean platter was decent the lamb skewers were tasty.

Very open-space coffee shop, with open views of the shopping centre. Stuff was welcoming from the very beginning, quality of (my order) passion fruit tart and oat milk late was great. With fast service, a smiling waitress, and a quiet atmosphere it’s a good start to the day. Recommending to visit at the second floor of Castle Towers.

This contemporary cafe is located on the first floor of Castle Towers just outside of Target. The smashed avo on toast I ordered for Thursday breakfast was a well presented pleasant dish, with an unexpected but delightful garnish of sprouts. I recommend this cafe.

We had breakfast here and were really disappointed. Our drinks arrived after we finished our breakfast - had to ask several times. Even the bill was delivered prior to our drinks. When they did eventually come the milkshake was underwhelming for the price. I never, ever complain or write reviews but after raising it with them and no real effort to resolve, felt I’d really wasted my money. I would hate anyone else to experience same.

Me and my husband visited Qube (castle hills) on Sunday and loved every second of it..... We ordered falafel wrap, chicken wrap, hash browns, beirut brekkie bruschetta, iced coffee, orange juice...... we loved everything on our plate..... serving size was super generous... orange juice was sooooo refreshing that we ended up having 3 glasses.... i would definitely go back for sure for their triple chocolate brownie ✅✅✅

We were here today, celebrating a friends birthday. As a Coeliac, it is sometimes hard to find a wide variety of gluten free food. This cafe goes above and beyond. I had a hambuger and chips......to ordinary people, this is not a big deal, but a Coeliac will understand. Well done staff, for taking the time to listen and to go that bit extra mile to give the customer a tasty, stress free meal. You had me at hello!!!!

It's a good cafe. Friendly staff and they know how to run a cafe. Being an ex-barista who's work with sacred ground and Campos coffee I can see that Qube has a good setup going. I haven't tried all the cafes in Towers because I'm sceptical about shopping Centre cafes but Qube is doing well. PSA: they use "stronger" coffee, which means it's more acidic. Just the type of beans they've chosen.

  • Ximena

The service was very friendly - food wasn’t bad, however found the banana bread kind of eggy? Otherwise it was decent. The scone wasn’t bad either. The cupids lover drink however was awesome!! The orange juice and blue lemonade was pretty average. Not bad.

There is not much to offer on the kids menu but two breakfast items and a cheese burger so I opted for a $12 cheese toastie. We added bacon as there was no ham and our toastie suddenly became a $20.40. The kids apple juice came in a small coffee T/A cup, so for a kids cheese toastie and drink came to $25.

Very disappointed! At 4.15 after a shopping spree we wandered over looking forward to a coffee and a snack. We spent time browsing the menu and then turned to the girl at the counter only to be told “ you can only have takeaway you can’t sit down now! Plenty of customers were sitting down. What a way to run a business! Nearly 3/4 hour to closing! 3 customers lost.

We were there at a off peak time of day. The food was good and we received good service. The tables seemed rather close together so perhaps not a place for conversation that you don't want to also share with the neighbouring table. We thought it was a bit pricey but there were also some interesting middle eastern dishes on the menu

Wonderful new addition to the Castle Towers culinary scene. Love the open plan layout which leaves plenty of room for prams. They offer a great menu with a plethora of options which is great to see for a cafe. Coffee is always spot-on every time, the barista is friendly and the staff are always smiling. Definitely a must-visit.

We have been here couple of times and the food, coffee has always been great. Highly recommended!!Last time we were here for breakfast. The place was quite busy and one staff she was handling herself everything.Excellent service, Very friendly & welcoming and always smile. Love this place and definately will be going back again.

  • Claire

I am thoroughly disappointed with both the food and service here. I ordered the egg Florentine and was extremely disappointed. The toast was badly burnt and looked like it had been assaulted with spinach; so much that the toast itself tasted like spinach. My eggs were hard, not semi-runny like poached eggs are meant to be.

  • Sean Lincoln

Absolutely love every meal I’ve ever had here. The food is always beautiful, staff are lovely, and it’s in a great position near target. The food is always presented well and there’s always new things to try on the specials menu. Definitely head down for taco Tuesday!

The coffee is actually not bad, but the barista guy has poor customer service skills. Quite rude, and have notice this consistent attitude over a few weeks. When there is a rush, people are confused because they dont put the name of the customer to call out. I told them to put names on tickets, but fell on deaf ears.

  • Kylie Williams

Terrible food quality. The smoothie was served in a hot glass (straight from the dishwasher- it was very hot to touch), and could hardly be classified as a smoothie, it was more of a milkshake, at smoothie prices. The salad was not fresh, and the toasted sandwich was cold. Plus, no response when I emailed them.

  • Carla S

Ordered avo on toast and tasted so tart like lemon that it was uneatable. I sent it back but no apology, only an excuse that they need to add lemon to keep the avo fresh. Not exactly what a customer wants to hear. My tea didn’t arrive till I was nearly finished my breakfast and I was the only customer. Hmmm

  • Tricia Sargeant

Food is great here. It’s middle eastern themed. I love their salads. They have a halloumi salad that is amazing. I ordered the fatoush and started eating it before I could remember to take a photo! Lol It was delicious though. If someone is looking for vegan options, they have about 3-4 choices

Beautiful fresh food and don't mind paying for it, compliments to the chef! Young staff friendly but preoccupied with clearing table when talking/ eating AND she took my plate of replacement salad leaves which I hadn't finished with. More detailed etiquette training required...

  • Andrew Hong

Service was average, coffee was pretty good! However the food, similarly mentioned in earlier reviews, tasted off. I ordered a chicken burger, I thought I was being thinking too much. After the meal I immediate felt sick and went to a GP and got diagnosed with food poisoning.

My boyfriend and I have a rating list for every açai we have had and this is in 1st place. The granola to açai blend is great and based on our self proclaimed açai expertise, I definitely recommend!! And the staff has always been so nice and accommodating! Worth the money

Best eating place I have been in a very long time. The chicken wrap was the bomb and so were the delicious chips. My brother is very picky with his food but loved your cheeseburger and chips. Overall fantastic time and experience. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Haven't tried the meals yet but they do amazing coffee! The staff are really nice. The waitress thday looked after me was friendly and very attentative. I saw some plates of food on the other tables and it looked quite appetising. I will be back again to try the food!

  • Shanyce King

Paid $7 for an iced latte. Which was less then 100ml, as the tiny kids size cup was just filled with 90% ice. Then they charged me 20c for utilising my card... who even uses cash anymore? $7.20 for what felt like a child sized drink is embarrassing for them!

  • Ranjit Golande

This used to be a good cafe and go to place for us. But since they changed hands the service has gone down. Also the food quality has become hit and miss. One good thing Chicken skewers has actually improved. Coffee is good if Karla or Taylah makes it.
